Mike Hummel and his team at Farmers are nothing less than professional and helpful at all times. I feel very secure in knowing that my agent and his team are very knowledgeable in their industry. They are awesome.
I am not the type of person to write reviews and I always try to be patient and polite with others because I understand how stressful customer service can be. However, I had such a horrible experience with Farmers Insurance. First of all, the agent did not explain the terms of the policy well enough to my family and I. Second of all, when I tried to renew my policy she told me that my car was not even insured. I was not even aware that my car was not insured for three full months when I paid for a six-month policy. I never received an email or letter. The agent was rude and was blaming me for not being aware of the policy payment agreement. According to her I would get notifications for my family and that it was my fault for not letting my family know when to make their payments. Which is clearly not my job, but she insisted that it was my fault that they did not get notified. When I was just responsible to make my own payment not my family’s. Lastly, when I tried calling customer service they did not do anything and they just said that my agent did not explain the policy to me. The agent even said that I was lying and I was trying to take advantage of my family. I will never go back to Farmers Insurance, they do not care about their clients and they do not take the time to make sure the client understands the policy.
Very unprofessional, not recommended.
