Very accommodating to get my furry baby into care for his first visit after my dog sitter couldn’t watch him. They helped get him taken care of and responded every time I reached out. He is super soft and clean after his field plays, swims, and playing with friends. I think he had a blast and already have him signed up for my next trip.

This is my second time using Francis Kennels and we had a good experience. My two dogs came home happy and I was given a good report when I picked them up. Also, I ended up getting home from my trip earlier than expected and they allowed me to pick up my dogs a day early. I’m pleased and will use them again.

We board our dogs at Francis Kennels because they’re true, dedicated and caring animal people and provide excellent service. I don’t have to worry about the dogs while I’m away and truly have peace of mind knowing they’re being taken care of. Francis’s rates are also very reasonable and affordable and you can “customize” your pet’s stay. We live 45 minutes away from Francis but we wouldn’t take our pets anywhere else, it is worth the drive for reliable, safe pet care!

Our dogs were well taken care of. They took pictures and posted them so we could see how they were doing. The staff was friendly. We will definitely bring our dogs back!

I want to thank you so much for taking care of Minnie Rose shes so much more comfortable, now going to try to find veterinarian who can remove the cyst without charging me $3500.00 plus $s like one of the local veterinarian wants to charge. For the hours available the price is unbeatable in the Dayton area. My pup is a year old and always comes home exhausted and happy. She can be a little ball of energy but the staff treat her with a LOT of patience.

I adopted my rescue six years ago. He was feral so he can’t be let out without a leash, even in a fenced in space, because he won’t want to come back in. Francis Kennels was recommended to me by someone at the rescue because of how good they are with “special needs” dogs 😊 I’ve never had a better experience elsewhere and Francis Kennels are my top choice every time. They come outside when we pull in and know my dog by name, even when we haven’t been in months. They keep extensive notes on him, and they walk him many times a day since he can’t be let out without his leash. They mark his run clearly so that people know he’s a flight risk. They also play music at night so that thunder, fireworks, etc are not bothering the pets. Even though my dog has his tail tucked when we drop him off (he’s like that with anyone or anything) he is always happy when I watch them get him to go home! The employees never seem annoyed when I call and ask how he’s doing, which I did everyday for a week the first time I left him. Now I don’t worry because I know he’s well taken care of!Their selection of “extras” is also great. Kongs filled with peanut butter, frosty paws, 10 minutes of brushing, extra pond play, etc. I can’t say enough good things!

Our two Siberian Huskies stayed for 9 days in August 2021. We paid extra each day for the pond play and received daily pictures on facebook. You could tell by their faces that they were two happy puppies.

My two dogs had never been to a doggie daycare. The staff was so helpful in making the drop off and pickup easy for my dogs and me. They cared about making their day a great first day and let me know about at pick up time. My dogs were happy and worn out from their adventure. Thank you Francis Kennels staff.

This was my 1st time boarding my dogs. I was really hesitant but after them answering my questions whenever I FB them, I felt better. My son in law picked up my dogs for me and he said everything went well. They even sent me pics which helped me feel better.

I love Francis Kennels! These folks are like family to my fur baby. I have been using them for boarding and grooming for nearly the last four years. I was impressed early on when they greeted my dog by her name whenever we returned. They do that for every pet when they walk in. My Toy Poodle has separation anxiety, so boarding is tough on her. I noticed when I boarded her at Francis, she did better with it and was less stressed. It’s a little bit of a drive for me, but between their reasonable pricing and the care my dog receives, it’s well worth it!

They took really good care of my pup. I will definitely be bringing him back for future vacations as well as daycare so he can play with the other dogs.

This was our first time using Francis Kennels. I was a bit nervous because we have a Great Dane who is a great, big chicken with severe separation anxiety. We also have a Shih Tzu who does not like change. Francis Kennels could not have been more accommodating! They were so kind and patient with our Dane. They really took the time to learn both dogs and their personalities and did everything they could to help the dogs feel comfortable while we were gone. The staff is friendly and helpful and I loved getting updates on how the dogs were doing during their stay. It is a bit of a drive for us, but will gladly drive the literal extra mile to have our babies stay here! Thank you again for being so good to our four legged children!

Could not have been happier. We were very nervous leaving our Little Boy Rudy. They kept great communication with us as promised. He was very glad to see us when we got home. It was also apparent that the staff knew Rudy and all had very positive comments about him. We would now have no reservations using Francis Kennels again.

Although I hope no one has a situation like this if you should ever have a pet pass away I would highly recommend Paws to Wings at Francis Kennels. They were so compassionate and thoughtful throughout the whole process. They even had consultations for reptiles (which spanned much further than most who only had consultations for dogs/cats). When I brought my Beardies remains home they put her in a beautiful picture urn, wrote a card, and even gave me a seed starter for a memorial garden. If anyone has to go through a rough process like this I would say to go to Paws to Wings to make it a bit easier. Theyll take good care of your loved fur/scale baby.

This was our first time at Francis Kennels. FK was quick to answer all my questions and helped my dog feel quickly at ease. They were very welcoming over the phone and in person. The facility itself is very well kept with lots and lots of space for dogs to openly run and play. FK was attentive and asked about my dog’s comfort level socializing with other dogs and decided to introduce her to small group play first. I really appreciated the attention given to assure my dog had a positive and fun experience, which she did. We look forward to returning for more fun and play.

This place is honestly giving me such sketchy vibes, I emailed them about a dog they had up for adoption and their entire pet finder page disappeared soon after. Not to mention that my last email was never responded to and the only reason I got a response the first time was because I called the kennel after several days of nothing. Either these dogs arent in their care or they dont care about finding proper homes for them.After that experience I found it hard to believe they had a good rating but after sorting reviews by lowest I have to wonder how many of these 5 star reviews are even real! To anyone looking to board their dog here I highly recommend you check out the lower reviews first. Accidents happen while taking care of dogs but many of these reviews are incredibly concerning and shouldnt be happening at all. I work at a company that boards dogs for both training and care while owners are away and I cant imagine ever sending a pup home in the conditions this kennel has been reported to. So many red flags.

Liberty (Libby) is a puppy mill mama that was rescued by us a year ago. She is the sweetest dog but lacked some of the basic dog skills since she was locked up having babies. Going to Francis kennels for day care once a week has definitely helped her with her dog interaction skills and she gets really excited when I let her know she is going to a play day. I would recommend Francis Kennels to anyone needing to board their pet for a day or longer.

Can’t say enough about the friendly staff and the care they provide to my Norton 🐕‍🦺🐾. I use both daycare and boarding when we travel and I feel comfortable in the care he receives when we’re gone. Norton loves going to school 2 days a week to play with all his friends and he is greeted every morning by name.

I felt very safe leaving my dog Chloe with them for the weekend. They kept in touch with me, took pictures of her having fun at the pond play and treated her well. She was able to stay in the same room as my sisters dog and they seemed to be more relaxed together.

They even would give him his medicine or wipe his chin with wet wipes! (he gets pimples) I loved that they posted daily picture updates on Facebook! They even forgot some of his toys at pick up and drove them to my house ! Will be using again!

Left my slightly odd pit mix here over the fourth and i couldn’t have asked for better! They accommodated her so well that we will be back again and again! They were able to let her out by herself since she’s a little weird around other dogs and also were able to give her a couple prescription medicines that she is on currently. 100/10 would recommend!

I’ve been really picky about kennels I go to and I absolutely love this place! They have a lot of grassy areas for the dogs, compared to a lot of indoor places. They’re very clean, plus they allow dogs who aren’t neutered or spayed. Francis Kennels provide just about any service your dog may need and the prices are one of cheapest! I even have them transport Beau home when I run late from work!Beau is a mini Australian Shepard and he comes home relaxed and ready for bed 😅 that’s how I know he gets his energy out! I already have my friends taking their fur babies there too!

We had to leave town quickly and they were very accommodating. Looking forward to spring Cs when my puppy can swim in the pond.

I can’t say enough good things about Francis Kennels! We boarded my two dogs there several times over the last few years. They consistently catered to my dogs two very different temperaments, one of which is extremely nervous with bad separation anxiety. We always felt comfortable leaving our pups in their care, no matter what length of time. They were always in contact with us about how our dogs were doing, and our dogs came home happy, healthy, and exhausted from a fun stay! We are moving out of the area, and we’re all going to miss FK so much!

We have been boarding and using the daycare at Francis Kennels for a few years. Our dogs are always happy and very well cared for! We love all of the options for little extra treats, exercise, and the pictures posted showing the pups having fun! Even though we aren’t true ‘regulars’, I feel like the staff all knows my dogs and welcomes them with lots of love and attention.

Never again will I ever take my dogs here. My dogs were boarded and supposed to be groomed while I was gone. When I went to pick them up, they were soaked in their own urine. The staff tried telling me it was from their bath. Water doesnt stink like urine!!!

Sweetest people! They truly cared about Gus and his first day at Daycare! They babied him because he was scared to meet new friends and I really appreciated that! They didn’t throw him to the wolves and even have a plan for how to acclimate him slowly. Even though he may not be excited to go back (yet!) I am! 😊

Francis Kennel is fantastic with my baby Ranger. He loves to run and get near the water. They take the best care possible of my boy, he has separation anxiety, they make sure he is comfortable and having a great stay. I have even greater separation anxiety so when I call when I am away they don’t seem to mind putting me at ease also.

The doggie daycare, grooming services boarding services are wonderful. My great pyrenees loves going here and she loves the staff and I cant say enough good things regarding the staff and owners. After a day at doggie daycare my dog is a worn out dog
