Great customer service and great quality leather work! I had gussets added to 2 pairs of tall riding boots and they fit like a glove!! They replaced the zippers as well.

I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ve had my pair of dress shoes for 4 years and the sole started to come off of both shoes. To get both of them fixed and polished was under 20 dollars. So much better than buying a new pair and took under 10 minutes. I will be a return customer here for life!The store had some decent quality items as well. Lots of shoes, shoe polish and other accessories.

They have been great through the years. Whether its repairs, or helpfulness with trying on shoes to help me get just what I need. They sell good quality shoes and are professional in every way.

They were fantastic.i had a deep scratch in my leather boot I tryed everything to buff it out. But it was no use it was still there .they took it in the back while I waited it is almost gone you can just hardly see it now it was so cheap I could not belive it .THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB I WILL GO THERE AGAIN. They did a awesome job on replacing my soles on my danner boots. They looked as good as new when I picked them up. I like them better then when they were new. The staff was very friendly and professional. Well organized store also. Will definitely use them again.

New puppy chewed a pair of expensive leather nursing shoes and a set of vegan leather orthopedic sandals. Xenia S&L put their creativity along with great craftsmanship to save & restyle the shoes. Fixing both sets was only about 1/4 the cost to replace them!

Amazing store! They carry beautiful shoes and socks, and their customer service is excellent! They measured my feet to find the perfect size boots and had lots of good tips and advice about what to get for my mountain hiking trip. I got Vasque boots and some Darn Tough, Smartwool and Injinji socks. The staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. They have an awesome clearance section. 10/10. I will skip the big box stores any day and support this gem of a small business!

I’ve purchased a few pairs of shoes, socks, inserts, and had some help with minor shoe fixes here. I’m always met with a friendly, knowledgeable employee. Never felt rushed or pressured into a purchase. They have a great selection and I appreciate having a place like this close by...seems unique anymore.

Clasp on my purse was broken. Sent a picture to Xenia Shoe & Leather and they responded with an estimate and turnaround time. Took it in today and they fixed it in 15 minutes. Very pleased with the new clasps. Definitely recommend!

My (expensive) flip flop came apart. They were able to fix it on the spot.I did have to point out a twist in the fabric that would be between the toes and would rub, so he had to fiddle with it a bit more.After wearing it... the flip flop isnt as snug as it was originally. It doesnt hug my foot, so now it rubs and is uncomfortable. I got a blister from wearing it.

I brought them a pair of reproduction WW1 Pershing M1918 trench boots, I use for re-enacting. I was wanting them re-soled, and have new hobnails added. I think it was a challenge for them, adding the hobnails, but they beautifully completed the job, at an extremely fair price and in a decent time frame. My boots practically look new again. I can not recommend these guys any higher. Excellent job.

I came here before a wedding to get a belt that i forgot at home, I ended up not purchasing because i ended up having an excuse to go back home and grab it, but i felt bad so i wanted to write this review lol, but the gentlemen there was so helpful and they only had one belt in the color i needed and he offered to size it for me and everything. If i ever need shoes or a belt or anything leather related i’ll come back.

Wow! finally getting the time to write this review after I went in to Xenia Shoe & Leather over the summer to work on my favorite pair of shoes. Steve Madden unfortunately no longer makes these shoes so when my boots started to get worn out, I started searching for options.One option I found is a website that I could send my shoes in to repair, but they are very pricey (around $120 for repair service) and I would have had to pay extra to ship my shoes and wait extra time due to the delivery process. There is also a shoe repair shop near my house, but I read some reviews that made me nervous to go to them. When I found Xenia Shoe & Leather on google maps, I checked their website and felt a good & genuine impression by how they presented themselves. I contacted them and sent them photos of how my own shoes were currently and also sent them photos of how the same exact style, color, & brand of shoes look new (that I sourced from Google). These photos are included in this review; The example images sourced from Google are labeled as BRAND NEW, the photos of my own pair before repair are labeled as BEFORE REPAIR, and the photos of my own pair after Xenia Shoe & Leather repaired & worked on them are labeled as AFTER REPAIR.When I contacted them I first e-mailed them and didnt hear back, so I called them and they were very nice & were able to find my e-mail and the photos I sent them and we discussed the work that would be done to them. I am not very leather savvy and I mentioned that these shoes were more of a soft, furry leather and that they used to be a lighter tan/olive color when I bought them & they knew exactly what they needed and recommended just some scrubbing with a green scouring pad rather than the polishing service, which would have darkened them in color. They said it would only take them a DAY to do the service and that the total for the work would be $70.46 which was about $50+ cheaper than my other leading option was and they are within driving distance so I decided to go with them.With these shoes being so special to me, I was really nervous to hand them off the anyone, but WOW, I am so happy I went with these folks! When I picked up my shoes I was SO impressed!! I seriously love these boots so much and they have been so comfortable and cute, it meant so much to me that they gave them new life and that I can keep wearing these amazing shoes. When I look at the before and after pictures I am so blown away and I made sure to save them so I could leave this review when I had the time, because they really deserve all the gold stars for being so nice and doing such fast & great work for such a fair price! 5/5 stars from me definitely! Highly recommend giving these folks a chance if you are in the same boat I was in and I hope this review helps! :)

I have a leather purse Ive been using for 15 years. They dyed it for me and sewed a seam and it looks like new once again! They also carry Wigwam socks which are the only socks my husband will wear.

Feel so lucky to have this store in my area. Truly local place, dedicated workers who are doing an amazing job. Very professional and helpful, my leather goods are in good hands and Ive been inspired to take care of them properly now.

Wow!!! A classic shoe store! You can have all kinds of repairs made here on any leather products. I had a leather jacket repaired here once and they did a wonderful job of seaming up a big rip in it. They did the work within a day or two and I could barely tell where the rip was. It was a very tricky repair but done very nicely at a reasonable cost. My jacket was ruined if not repaired. They have A great shoe selection in store and also special orders. Xenia is lucky to have a Shoppe like this downtown.

Talk about disappointed. Took my all time favorite GRAY boots in for heel replacement. Took in 2 heels, went to pick them up, they had 1 heels. Left them for correction of heel and when I went back to pick them up, they were BLACK! I never asked them to polish my boots. If they had only payed attention to what was in their hands Id have my GRAY boots back.Update! After writing my review the manager called to tell me how easy it is to remove the black polish so I could have my GRAY boots back. I returned the boots to them for polish removal. When I picked them up, they were no longer black, but instead they now have a strange hint of BROWN! Never going back for shoe repair, but will most likely return for a full refund!

Took my tall English riding boots in to get zippers replaced. I bought them used and one boot had already had a zipper replaced, and boy was it ugly. Finally got it fixed because the zipper on the other boot busted. Now I can barely tell EITHER of them were replaced at all! They are masterfully done and for the most part did not change the fit at all (if anything they are a wee bit tight but thats to be expected). And the best part is that my boots were cleaned and shined as well! FANTASTIC service and craftsmanship for a reasonable price. I highly recommend Xenia Shoe and Leather!

Artists, not cobblers.My wife dropped off two pair of shoes on her way through town (we live out-of-state). I asked my wife to have them call me prior to repair as I had some concerns about resole work on one pair of shoes. Matt called me to discuss and I explained what I was looking for with some questions. He explained two options for the resole with his recommendation and why. One concern was that the shoes I sent had a distressed look that I feared would not be maintained with a resole (out of place soles). In short, he had no worries and, indeed, the shoes were returned looking fantastic. The edges of the soles were roughed a bit to match the look of the shoe. These people are not cobblers. They are artists.I will be sending all my shoes to them in the future.
