They kept giving me the run around each time I would bring in certain paper work they said they needed, I would bring it in and then they would send me back home with more papers saying what else I needed to bring to them and then they said that wasnt enough and they needed more so I just gave up on doing anything with them anymore. But now I need help and they better not give me the run around again or else Im putting all stops on dealing with them anymore.

Today I took got up early and started shoveling my very long gravel driveway on a wooded lot with a big hill, (four inches of snow and the roads werent plowed,) worked so hard my shirt was wet with sweat despite the 20 degree weather, Im still dizzy three hours later and wondered at one point if I was going to have a heart attack because I have a history of previous issues, got out onto the road, destroyed my already bald tires trying to rev my engine hard enough to get up the hill, slid backwards into a ditch, (where my car is now sitting tipped over the edge,) called a friend with four wheel drive who dropped everything to come drive me to my CAP appointment so I could get help with my electric heating bill. I physically and mentally depleted myself doing everything I could to make sure I got to that essential appointment knowing my family needed electric and Im the only one who supports us. We are having a snow emergency and the roads are a mess. I cannot say I didnt expend a HUGE effort to get to that appointment.I arrived just outside their grace period on a very unusual day, and despite a quiet and empty waiting room, CAP could not be flexible enough to honor my appointment despite my having done everything I could physically do pushing and hurting my body to get there. It would make sense to avoid compassion and common sense if it was a beautiful sunny day and I was just screwing around on my way to my appointment, but this was not a normal day. This was a day when most of the city is closed due to snow and the roads are a mess. This was a day when intelligence and humanity would dictate flexibility and common sense.Today, CAP failed very badly.Shame on you for being part of everything that is wrong with society.

It is impossible to get through to CAP to do a PIP renewal. Ive literally called over 175 times (no exaggeration.) When you finally do get through you just get an automatic message saying that they have filled their PIP appointment quota for the day. It didnt use to be like this. Whoever made this change in service deserves to be fired. Im going to report them to JFS and their headquarters in D.C. It is a horrible experience.
