I’ve known the owner “David” ever since we went to high school together. I’ve known this guy for over 14 years. He has ALWAYS been tech savvy and extremely gifted with electronic knowledge. If you need an honest review, read this one. Be direct with David and he’ll be direct with you. Simple as that. Great prices and he gets it done fast.

If I could give this shop less than one stars I would.I dropped off my IPhone X which had a faulty screen that became unusable. the quote was almost $500 from apple so the $200 quote from this shop sounded great and according to reviews the show was good right? wrong. After a month the screen without any cracks or being dropped glitched out and would not turn on. I went back to the shop because I assumed that the screen was just faulty. The tech told me that it was my fault and that there was no way it was his fault or a faulty screen and that he would have to charge me for a new screen again. So desperate to get my phone working I paid another $200 for a screen and bought a new otterbox case and screen protector to make sure that I wouldnt damage the screen again. Well here I am 2 months later with the same problem. no cracks, no scratches, no drops. just a broken screen.Onto the second problem with this shop. The first red flag I should have been concerned about walking in is that you get a $5 discount if you can show them that you wrote a 5 star review. This is highly unprofessional and possibly illegal to pay for reviews.The business is practically a scam and I would recommend any other shop or even a friend who thinks they can fix your device before coming here.Response to owner: I specifically was told that writing a 5 star review would give a discount (I never wrote a 5 star review). That is the problem. Asking for a review is very different than specifically asking for a 5 star review. That is the problem I had with this. As well as the fact that I should not have the same problem with your repairs twice in the span of a few months. It proved that I had been out $400 either because you carry faulty products or because of the quality of repair. I did not come back because I had lost faith in this shop, and was disturbed by the way I have seen your staff deal with customers and myself when simply asking a question. As well as the way my electronics were still broken after leaving the shop.

When my husband mentioned one of the the speakers on my phone had stopped working directly after a recent screen replacement, this person came UNGLUED and began ranting about how he hates working on HTC phones, he should have refused the job, he will never recover his money etc. He refunded the money instead of fixing it and refused to replace the screen on my husbands phone. Maybe he was just having a bad day but very unprofessional and not emotionally equipped to handle himself during stressful situations. Unless I am willing to forever talk on speaker phone and have my conversations overheard, I have to replace my phone. If you have an HTC, dont take it here.

I dropped my work phone on Sundays which I cant keep my company running with out it and took it here Monday morning first thing they had it done within 45 min I highly recommend going here instead of other places that as soon as you walk in they are trying to sell you a new phone this will be my go to shop next time I drop my phone hopefully not any time soon. I highly recommend it.

The end of the head phone jack broke off in my I pad and he was able to take it out in 5 minutes with no problem. Another place tried to tell me I had to get the piece replaced which was a lie. Thank you Device Drop my 5 year old will be happy now that he has his IPad back.

Ive brought a couple of my phones here. Hes always done an exceptional job, and gets it done pretty quickly too. Recently brought him a cord for my Sena(bluetooth system for motorcycle helmets). I went to a few stores with all of them telling me they couldnt repair it. I took it here and although it took some time he got it done and saved me a lot of money as you cant buy just the cords. Cant recommend this place enough.

A streak of bad luck hit my house with dropping phones, my teenage daughter who has been super careful had dropped her LG3 she had for 2 years. Was sketchy about phone repair places but decided to look into one anyway because I didnt want to purchase another phone for $700. Took it to Device Drop and for a reasonable fee they were able to fix it in 3 days! Happy with the fix, I decided to have them fix the charging port on my favorite tablet, and in a few hours it was as good as new. Customer service was good as well I definitely recommend them.

Very quick and very great work

Owner fixes items himself, does a good job. He checked my I phone and said is was done working, I took it to Verizon who claim they could fix it, next day it stopped working, they admitted it was toast. Dealt with him since he opened, never known him to mis-diagnose any phone Ive had.

Im so happy I chose Device Drop to recover my pictures and contacts from my broken phone. They were able to transfer all irreplaceable pictures and info to my new phone. All for less than $100.

Highly recommend! I called and did the research and this was the cheapest place in the downriver area for iPhone 5 screen repair. Took less than a half hour! Dave was polite and courteous and REAL. He didnt try to talk me into anything I didnt need even gave me a discount on an otterbox case so that my screen wouldnt crack again. I plan on going to the Device Drop whenever my electronics need repair.

Earlier I dropped my iPhone and cracked my screen. I needed my screen repaired asap. device drop repaired my phone a matter of 30 minutes. they have such great deals.

I dont recommend device drop. Worst encounter Ive ever had with a supposed phone tech. They broke my Home button and silencer while changing the screen and then denied it, then continued to blame it on me even though it worked perfectly fine prior to their services and refused to fix the millimeter thick gouge that was starting at me from my phone in between the ear piece and the metal that was left on my EXPENSIVE phone from the equipment they used. Still they had the nerve to deny me services and blame my phone coming out looking/working worse than it did BEFORE it went into their hands, ON ME. Sorry but Ill take my money elsewhere and spare myself the debate with mr.ithinkiknowitall. ☺️

Honest, fast and reasonable, they repaired my Samsung tablet and returned it to me quickly. They could have easily claimed my lcd screen was bad but only found a loose cable, repaired and returned. Will use again and highly recommend.

I had a IPAD II with a cracked screen. It took less than a week to fix. Now its completely back to normal. I also dropped my HTC 8X and broke the screen on that as well. ATT said it was not repairable and I just had to buy a new one. Well, Dave replaced the non repairable screen in about an hour. The guy is good and professional.

I have a samsung galaxy s5 is that I was quoted over the phone for just under $200 for digitizer and screen replacement. when I showed up in person to have my phone repaired today I was told that they did not have any screens for my phone in stock. The man at the counter insisted that they did not have any screens in stock so when I second guessed him he went into the back room and pulled out a screen that fit my phone then I was told that it would cost $279 to replace my screen. he also stated that the screen cost more than $200 when clearly it does not. without a supplier I can purchase these screens anywhere online it about $150. Needless to say I left and took my business elsewhere where they installed my brand new Samsung screen for $189.
