Two cylinders misfiring, they fixed it in two days. Runs perfect still 6 months later. Honest people and will not try to sell you something you do not need.

Before coming to the shop I called ahead and let them know what was wrong with my vehicle and to get a quote if I took it there. From what Quick Lane on Allen Rd in Woodhaven told me would had cost me close to $3000 I guess they were trying to upsell me. I spoke to Preston at Dans and let him know what they said, I dropped my car off on a Sunday and left the keys in the mailbox and on Monday after they inspected it and followed up with my vehicle all I needed was my back brakes and rotors change it was not expensive at all compared to work Quick Lane told me that I need new tierods front and back brakes and a wheel alignment also sway bar links. When I told Prestion all this I also let him know that my sister recommended this place of business and what I needed done on my vehicle he stated they are an honest company they don’t like to rip people off. I appreciate his honesty and I will definitely be recommending this place to anybody they ask if I know a good mechanic, he saved me alot of money. I highly recommend Dans, not only are they reasonable, they are timely and affordable. Preston is one of the best service persons Ive dealt with. Dan and staff know what they are doing. With 5 vehicles, its nice to have someone you trust! Big thumbs up!

Since the moment I called, they were super nice, polite and very helpful! But most importantly they were honest! I called to get a quote on some parts that I thought my car needed, but once they examined my car that was not the case. They could of easily taken my money for some parts i didn’t need at the time. Recently moved to the area and took a random shot on Dans Auto Repair based on the reviews. Let me say the reviews dont disappoint! I needed someone to look at my muffler asap and Dan got me in. He checked out the muffler as well as a good look at the rest of my car and came up with a fair and accurate assessment. I wasnt able to do the repairs right away but the best part was Dan didnt charge me a dime for the time he took to check my car out. Safe to say Ill be heading back to Dan in the future!

Recently relocated here from Seattle, and had was poor experience with some other repair shop. Found Dans and gave him a shot at a front wheel bearing on my fusion. Not only is he close to me, but they did an outstanding job fixing me up, and at a very reasonable price. I recommend Dans to anyone. Great work, honest,and his word is word. I highly recommend Dans Auto Repair. They do good honest work. I have older cars and for my most recent experience, I took my car in for a trans seal leak and it was less than half of the dealer quoted. They did not try to up sell me anything else.A good honest mechanic is hard to find and I if I could give his shop more stars, I would.

I recently moved to the area and called Dan to setup a break and rotor swap. I also needed an oil change. Dropped my car off and he said it would be a few hours. After a short period of time he called me to let me know that my brakes were fine and he didnt recomend $500 worth of brake replacements I went to him for.I was surprised he was so honest and didnt just fix them like most shops would do. Instead he explained why they seemed like they needed replacing and showed me what was actually the issue.Ill be back to him for all of my car care needs. 👌🏼

I got a few quotes on the repairs I needed done. Everywhere told me 4 to 5 days. I couldnt go without my car that long. Dans got me back on the toad that same day. Very friendly. My new auto shop.

Dan just fixed up my F-150 with a full brake job. We used ceramic pads, an upgrade. Should cut down on the visible brake dust which is a big problem on most F150s with stock pads.Dan and his mechanics have worked on many of my vehicles over the last several years. Very satisfied with the work, price, speed, everything.
