Our tech Caleb was fantastic. Very personable as well as very professional. He answered questions as he went and told us about each step of the process. Two thumbs up...will definitely recommend if anyone I know is looking for a pest control company.
This was the worst customer service experience of my life. I called Aptive in February to tell them I had a roach problem in the house I was about to move into. The guy asked me to describe them over the phone and diagnosed them as German Roaches. He said there was a different process they used to exterminate this type of roach and proceeded to set my appointment. In the following two months we noticed some of them die but we were still seeing a lot of live roaches running around the house. At this point Aptive has come to my house 3 times. I call with my concern and they tell me that I was never treated for German Roaches, only spiders and ants. That was upsetting since I was due to move in soon and didnt want to move in while roaches were still present. They told me I had to pay extra money for the service and for the warranty for the treatment I told them I will pay either or but not both since its not my fault the wrong treatment was done. After several hours on the phone they refused to consent to that. At this point I asked for a full refund. They said a manager would call me about the refund. I had that conversation with them in MAY as of writing this it is AUGUST and still no manager has called me back. I have been back and forth with customer service via email. I have sent my bank statement and the invoice Aptive emailed me and here I am with no refund. They offered me a credit on a future service with them....even if I wanted to use them again, which I will never, the credit wasnt even for the full amount I was charged. At the end of the day I was charged SERVICES NOT RENDERED and I am extremely dissatisfied. I am writing this in the hopes that this never happens to any one else. Please do not choose this company.Update: It is now SEPTEMBER 2021. I have been dealing with this company for 5 months and they are still trying to offer me a credit for additional services. They refuse to refund my money so I will be taking legal action.

Thank goodness we havent experienced any serious insect/pest issues. The technicians are attentive and professional. The services are done quarterly and on time. We receive reminders when a service date is approaching. I dont have to worry about it. No complaints here!

They tend to show up an hour or 2 early. If they showed up on schedule I would give them 10 stars. People are professional, courteous and the product works as they advertise it.
They always remove any cobwebs from outside around the house before treating around doorways and windows. Since beginning treatments, I have noticed a huge improvement of pests around the outside and the inside of my home. They are prompt and very courteous.

Their price was great. Their service is simple to use and they communicate via text, email, and phone. I dealt with a different person each appointment and all of them were professional and courteous. Their service did work well, we had a lot less insects around.I signed a two-year contract for service but cancelled this year (halfway in) because I now have a garden and would like bugs around the yard to help pollinate. Originally I was going to get charged a $200 cancellation fee, but when I called to pay it they waived the fee!Their service does work well and is ran well. Spraying your yard to kill or deter pests is likely causing great harm to your local ecosystem.

We had seen an increase in spiders so I sent a quick test to the company and someone came out the very next day to do a treatment. The reps are always so happy and this one even did the service in the pouring rain!
We have a horrible experience with your office at Columbus OH. The service is a joke. I need to cancel my account ASAP. I signed up for service via door to door sales men that promised that all spiders and ants will magically disappear after the first treatment. Well they didnt, and first service didnt make any difference. I was promised that after my second appointment everything will be good. The technician shows up on 08/24/21 walks with the yellow stick for 2 minuets, puts up a flag on my yard, spends another 3 minutes inside his truck generating 123$ invoice and disappears. Total time at the property 6 minutes. Nothing was sprayed at all, he only took backpack out to snap a photo for my invoice.No chemical were sprayed at all everything got recorded on cameras. Shame on your company, i demand immediately cancel my account and refund for services you failed to provide. What a scam.
Please note this is an early review of the product, as we just received our first application. However, I would highly recommend Apex from a service perspective. Hunter Beach (sales rep) and Daxton Edwards (technician) did an excellent job explaining the product and service. They were pleasant, professional and timely.
I tried to call the local phone listing that was showing in the Invoice....eternal hold. Finally opted to leave my phone number and get a call back. I tried again and left my phone number so they could text communicate with me.... Still waiting, 4 hours later, received a call from Utah, not a phone number I would expect to call Ohio. Message left, but now I get to start the process over again.Great on that sales pitch.....or leaving a message..... But Aptive is non present to answer a phone call.....Wish I had tried to call them before giving them a try on service!
Usually very accommodating and effective, but for the past several weeks their services haven’t worked at all, the issue is getting worse, and I can never get through to anyone on the phone. Very frustrating. Considering switching at this point.
Their service is always great! The plagues in my house, specifically spiders, are very under control. All their inspectors are very kind and professional. They are always very attentive and quick to schedule and provide the service you need. Great customer service as well. I’m very satisfied with this company

He did a very thorough job, was very knowledgeable and explained what infestations he had found and how he treated them at the end of his visit. We are very happy with this service.

I was excited to try this when it was sold to me as covering all the services my previous one did, but also fleas. We had several service calls, and even had the company come back and spray again. I found all the bugs came back that were previously controlled including the fleas (we had been using some beside our flea company prior to spray) and the bees were terrible. I contacted them to tell them this, and that I needed to cancel. I was then charged a fee. I signed a contract that promised services for that fee that I never actually received. I wasted hundreds of dollars with this company, and they have no interest in righting their wrongs. Please save your money and try another pest company.
Today the Aptive Technician came out and performed their initial treatment and did a thorough job from the front curb to the back fence. The “tech” was polite, professional, and knowledgeable about the task at hand. Hats off to Aptive’s Sales Consultant on the ‘board’ as he walked me thru every step of their program.
Noticed zero difference in ants, flys and bugs on the exterior of our house with more than a year of service.Though the larger problem is it is nearly impossible to cancel. They have been trying to charge me even after i canceled for months. I have been calling for almost 3 months, with almost a half dosen confermation emails from managers that my information has been deleted and that i will not be charged yet i am still receving invoices in the mail and voice mails that i have past due invoices.
I don’t have my contract handy, but several of the above are covered by Aptive treatments.It has been a truly great help to us as we live in a remote, wooded area. We get lots of critters getting in or trying to get in.I have noticed very few insects since I have been using Aptive. My husband and I are very impressed by their products .As for their service, it is excellent! I get a notice of the tech’s visit with time and date. The service representative tells me when they have arrived. So far everyone representing this company has been highly professional.I give my highest recommendations to Aptive!!!
We were shopping around for pest control for bugs around our house and Aptive wasnt even on our radar. Luckily they showed up and offered a deal far better than any other company that weve gotten quotes from! They were super friendly, professional and responsive! 10/10 recommended for anyone needing pest control!
We had our quarterly inspection and Ryan was extremely thorough and focused on our ant problem. He also discovered spiders as well as a bee hive. We appreciate Aptive and the work ethic of the employees. They are friendly, efficient and thorough. We have used their services for several years now.

Ruined my garden! Was supposed to just spray the wasps outside our deck near the awning but no, he sprayed my organic raspberries that my kids eat with chemicals and said, he didnt know it was raspberries. Well if he just did what he was asked to spray this would have never happened. Aptive shoukd replace my raspberries and blackberries but I know that is a long shot. 3 years I worked on my garden and now its gone!
We really enjoy Aptive. They are always friendly. We started using them a while back bc we get ants every srping and havent had any problems since we started using aptive. We have continued to use them quarterly to prevent bugs.

Door to door Marketing guys are simply irritating, I have No Soliciting sticker on my door, they (3 guys) still knock the Door, I told them im busy, they did not leave, I told Im not interested, they did not leave, I told I just came from office Im tired, they did not leave and keep forcing me to take it, I was trying not to be rude but they took that as advantage, he even asked me why cant you spend $400 per year for your house? Next time I would definitely record the conversation and fill a legal complaint.

We used Aptive for about three years and found it to be a generally responsive company. Recently, two issue have arisen to cause us to discontinue using Aptive. A couple of weeks ago, their sales reps were canvassing our neighborhood letting all of our neighbors know that we are Aptive customers. We never gave permission to release this information. In the last week, Aptive scheduled and cancelled three appointments for our quarterly service. I cannot in good conscience recommend Aptive.
Door to door salesperson was thanked for the offer, advised of disinterest in service and told that I was working as I walked away from front door. Salesperson’s response was “Well I’m working too” and continued on with his nonsense. It’s a shame one can’t enjoy doors open on a nice summer day without being harassed. Terrible sales tactic. Two thumbs down.

Im not sure how I feel about the company as this is the initial application of their product. I will say up to this point Im not pleased. The sales person made it sound like they used something other than what I have used in the garage to get rid of our mice. The sales person told me that they use a chemical that makes the rodents not want to be by the house and that i woukd have to have items not by the wall so the person could get around and spray. The application person told me they use sticky traps and snap traps. The other thing they use are live bait traps outside the home but they didnt have any available. They are going to set up a time to bring some out next week. I will say both people have been incredibly kind. Hopefully Im just being paranoid because of the cost and everything will turn out well.Update: canceled with company. They didnt follow through and also tried to send someone out when it was raining. When I asked if their product would stay on the ground if it is raining, I was told no it would become ineffective. So I told them to cancel.

This company is TERRIBLE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! Last summer some sales guy come rolling up on his Segway making a bunch of promises about the company. Against my better judgment I signed up with them. They sprayed twice. There were still spiders. It is impossible to get through to them on the phone. I left a note for the guy who was supposed to come spray the next time. He admitted the office was NOT staffed.I sent an email to cancel the contract. Someone returned the email saying I needed to call to cancel service. I spent literally an entire day calling. I finally reached someone who apologized and said the account was closed and the balance they were trying to change was taken care of. Yet I kept getting statements. I emailed again. They assured me the account was closed. Today I get a letter from a collection agency. This is one of the worst companies I have ever done business with. Do yourself a favor and call someone else.
A guy named Julian is working my neighborhood in Lewis Center, OH. I actually felt really bad not giving him business. He knew his stuff inside and out. Super professional. I am a US Marine and can spot honest diligence. I have a loyalty issue for the same reason - and my current pest control provider has performed well. As soon as they slip up, I will give Aptive a call.

This was a quarterly treatment. There was so much snow on the ground and up against the house limiting what Aptive could access. Aptive did a very quick eve sweep and sprayed what sounded like air from a small handheld black bulb with a nozzle on it. He sprayed a couple times at the top corners of the 1st floor windows and doors. He was at our home for a total of 6 minutes from the initial doorbell ring until he was back in his truck. The quarterly treatment fee feels like a hefty price to pay for winter quarterly treatments when barely anything is done!
They just treated my home today. Both the sales person and the treatment provider were incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Hopefully we see a reduction in pests in the near future!
We live in a rural setting. This was our first season with Aptive and the spider and rodent population was much diminished. Theyre always friendly and communicative. Highly recommend.
I have been using Aptive for a year. Today was their scheduled treatment. I asked them to spray the inside of my shed as well as the inside of my garage and house . As scheduled Owen also sprayed the exterior if my house.The reason I had them spray the extra spaces wasnt because Ive been having problems. I had them do extra work because its the end of my 1 year contract and I planned to discontinue their services.When I really thought about discontinuing their services, it was because of money. Now I realize that I havent had any ant or other pest problems since they started my treatments. Other people I speak to that dont use Aptive, have ants and spiders all the time.The price I pay for Aptive services is so little compared to fighting off the creepy crawlies. Ive decided to keep using Aptive for my peace of mind.Thank you Aptive

The 1st couple of treatments went well, greatly reduced the amount of roaches. Then it went downhill. Wasnt scheduled for 2 mths, got it scheduled had a no show, rescheduled & had a no show again! Currently waiting for someone they said 330p -345p....its 448p no one came. I called & was only able to leave a message. Not good at all!
We’ve used this company for several years now. The price is reasonable compared to other estimates we received. The service person has always been polite and professional. My only complaint would be long waits (20 + minutes on one occasion) when calling in. This was peak covid time and I think the representatives may have been working from home. Not sure, but considered this may have contributed to the delay.
They over sell on there special for one. Tell me all this stuff will be done. I have had to have them come back 4 times now cause they are not doing the job i paid for. Tired of this and got to pay 200 to opt out. They first told me i would be treated every 6 weeks after the first winter they have been coming out every 6 months so had to call in about that. They where supposed to treat the back yard with flea and tick stuff for my dogs and now say that wasnt on the package even though i was told it was. So now have to pay extra 17 dollars for that. Every time they comenout they just take the brush get rid of cob webs and leave. I am paying 99 bucks for them to donthat i dont think so. So i put on there to not service unless they get a holdnof me. Today here we go again. They serviced did not get ahold of me. Only good thing i can say about them is there customer service reps are nice. I would have never signed up if i knew i would have to call in every time to have them come out redo it. This has happened from the first time they came. Thought by now they get it right.
It was getting ready to rain so the grass and trees and rest of services could not be performed until there was going to be a dry day. The gentleman was very nice and friendly.

One star for pushy clueless door to door sales rep, that I couldnt see who it was as they stood initially at the blind spot so I would have to crack the door to check. Proceeded to go into pushy sales pitch when obviously Im not opening the door all the way because I had got out the shower and though it was someone legitimately stopping by to have them wait a moment. Tried to be exceedingly polite that I cant talk at the moment he even acknowledged that and still went into pushy sales! You know if he came back, were on a cul de sac, I might have listened and been interested. Instead Ill question considering coming back.Had the soliciting tag for two municipality away but not Orange Township, I was probably too nice that I tried to politely disengage long enough to notice.They get four stars for past performance, we had them in the past and they were ok, nothing great nothing horrible they got the job done and quick to respond to requests, not really preemptively handling issues, others gave us a better deal.
