Columbus Pro DJs amazing to work with. They made things so easy with online song selections and other details for our big day. DJ Mike was also great to work with. Columbus Pro DJs was great to work with as a company -- very organized and professional. Wed read reviews about Joe in particular, and were so glad we requested him. He was absolutely fantastic. He was personable and knowledgeable and his years of experience were really evident. We were on the fence about whether to get a DJ and in retrospect, I cant imagine our reception without him. He helped coordinate all of the events and when the schedule got a bit off track (because of things outside his control), he helped manage the evening so that everything stayed on track and we still had all of the special moments wed planned. He is incredibly flexible and supportive. We had a number of atypical requests, and he not only accommodated them, but also really got into the spirit of each one.

Ive worked with Andy and his team several times over the years at my office events. They have always been affordable, friendly, and very professional. Our DJ, Chris, was extremely professional and an awesome person to work with. While planning the wedding, he took his time to go over every detail with us to make sure everything went smoothly on our big day. This helped take away any stress we had about how our reception would flow. He really turned the wedding into a dance party by playing the songs we requested along with the songs our guests requested. I would recommend CPDj to anyone looking for a DJ that is professional, organized, and up to date on current music.

I would like to take a second to sing the praises of Columbus Pro DJs -- Especially our DJ, Joe. He. Was. Incredible!!! EVERYONE at the wedding talked about how great he was. On top of his DJ duties, he also made sure that my husband and I were eating and staying hydrated -- He even made sure that I was able to have a gin and tonic at the reception when I was too busy to procure one for myself. My favorite part was at the end -- He gathered everyone on to the dance floor and played Closing Time -- Literally EVERYONE danced. My husband and I were crying, my parents were crying, our friends were crying. It was the PERFECT way to end the reception. I just cant say enough good things about him. We are some of the first of our friends/cousins to get married, and we will definitely be recommending your company (and Joe!) to them.

Rob from Columbus Pro DJs was a phenomenal addition to our wedding, his energy, coordination, and knowledge base of DJing is of the best. Having two different cultures in there, his blending of some cultural music and modern songs helped make our wedding a blast for us and all of our guests. It has taken me almost two months to write this review. When beginning our search for a DJ, my husband and I agreed that all we needed was someone who could create a nice atmosphere and some dance music if some people wanted to dance (we had a Sunday wedding so we werent expecting a huge party vibe). We saw that the reviews for Columbus Pro DJs were mostly good with some bad sprinkled in with complaints about communication. We naively continued to book Columbus Pro DJs. My husbands discussions with AJ were fine. We found him to be helpful but when it came to being assigned a DJ, our experience completely changed. My husband and I kept going back and forth on what song we wanted for our first dance. The day before our wedding we reached out to our DJ and let him know of our final decision. He confirmed that they had the correct song in their catalogue and changed our selection. Knowing this was a last minute change, we again followed up with our assigned DJ on the morning of our wedding and even during cocktail hour before our reception. Each time, he reassured us that he had the correct song. Upon meeting our DJ in person, he seemed disheveled and nothing like a professional. When asking him questions that we had previously gone over with AJ (most were questions I shouldnt be answering on my wedding day anyways), he continuously cut us off and it was obvious he wasnt listening. Before our entrance into the reception, he went over all of the names. During the actual entrance, he managed to get most of the names correct but when it came to our entrance, he loudly pronounced my name incorrectly (he clearly said Katie instead of Kalie). Upon realizing he said my name wrong, he asked my mother in law if he should do it again. Luckily, she said no, since I dont know which is more embarrassing, being introduced incorrectly at our wedding or having to do it again. The music was fine during the eating portion of the reception. Our choices were mostly used and that was appreciated because we clearly did not trust our DJ. When getting to the first dance, my husband and I got up to dance looking forward to sharing this moment with our loved ones. The song we chose meant so much to us and we had practiced it in our living room the day before. As we walked to the dance floor, we realized that the DJ was playing the wrong song. Not wanting to make a scene in front of our guests, we both went along with it but it was no where near as special and we will never get that moment back. Thinking about it today still breaks my heart. The DJ seemed to know something was wrong after the dance and came over to us. We explained that he had played the wrong some. At first he denied it, but my husband told him that he not only called the day before and reminded him today, the DJ replied with oh, that was you?. At that moment, I just had to walk away. Luckily my husband and I have wonderful friends that requested the song later on (although the DJ instead of letting it be a surprise, came and found us to ask about it). Honestly, I could give multiple other examples about how this professional DJ did not do his job correctly but those two instances are so rudimentary that to this day, it astounds me that he is even considered a professional. By booking this company, you cannot be sure they will send a qualified person that can even perform the basics of the job.

They did such a great job at our wedding. Everything was perfectly coordinated and the DJ was very personable. We definitely made the right decision choosing them!

We used Columbus Pro DJs for our wedding on July 23rd this year and could not have made a better decision! The planning process was easy using online forms and requesting songs as we thought of them. The phone consult the week before really put my mind at ease and they had some great suggestions for us as far as timing etc that really helped with the flow of our day. Our DJ Adam was fun and enthusiastic without sound like a cheesy DJ. I loved his music knowledge and felt like he really meshed with my husband and I. The music choices he made during the reception were perfect and songs I would have never thought of. He followed our requests to a T but also played songs that really got everyone going. Even at a last minute decision to move the dance party to another room in the venue was made even smoother when I saw Adam seamlessly move his equipment without stopping the music or the party. I will recommend Columbus Pro DJs to everyone I know that is having an event, I really loved working with them! Thank you all so much!

Ive been meaning to write this but never caught up to it...but I will leave this as simple as can be dont waste your your time or effort. Its not worth the stress I should have read the reviews the customer service the excuses he ruined everything. Stay away

I dont know where to begin with expressing my appreciation for everything Columbus Pro DJs did to help make my daughters wedding so special. AJ and Rob were presented with a challenge that was new to them, and they both went above and beyond to make it happen.My son is currently deployed and could not be at the wedding. I proposed the idea of doing a FaceTime call, and asked about hooking up to the DJ sound system and projection screen so that my son could participate and surprise the bride and groom with a live toast at the reception. When I initially discussed it with AJ, he made it clear that due to circumstances beyond his control in connecting a phone call half way around the world, he couldnt guarantee 100% that it would work. (I had a recorded version ready as a back up) Over several weeks, we exchanged several emails and texts figuring out logistics. Communication with them was always great, they were very speedy with responding. A week before the wedding, we did a trial run phone call, and it didnt work. The morning of the wedding, I turned my phone - passwords and all - over to AJ and Rob so that while we were busy with the ceremony they could continue to work on making it happen. Much to my surprise and delight, they made it work! My son was able to participate in the reception from the other side of the world, and the bride and groom were surprised as well! There is no way to thank AJ and Rob enough for making that happen.As far as the rest of the reception, they were fantastic. AJ and Rob are the perfect balance of energetic, fun, polite and professional. I would absolutely recommend Columbus Pro DJs for your event!

These guys are fantastic. The are with you from the initial phone call to set up the date to the night of your big day. They make sure everything runs smoothly. AJ in the office was great and answered all my questions. Ron had a very hostile crowd (OSU vs. UM wedding) but handled it well and everyone had a blast. The dance floor was filled from the beginning to end which made for a memorable night. We are still getting compliments about our wedding reception and how fun it was.Thanks!!

To be honest, im not happy. Anything i requested from our DJ, Ron, it was as if i was a bother. I always received an attitude in response. Everything reverted back to well thats not tradition. Well fortunately it was our wedding and maybe we liked to do things different and it seemed like it was just not okay to do things outside of tradition. And by not tradition, i requested that we toast before my parents. Little things like that. Unfortunately, i felt that pressure frequently throughout this entire process. Right before the best man speech, i walked over and said the Maid of Honor is going first, he said okay. Then he announced we will be starting with the Best Man. Multiple times, the system made a loud screeching noise, as if he downloaded music illegally and the file was corrupted. He repeated songs as well, even as close to a couple songs in between. He would talk on the microphone and no one could understand him. I would look over several times and he wasnt even at the booth. There was silence between the songs and i just felt like it ruined the vibe of dancing. It honestly seemed like he just didnt want to be there.I reached out to Columbus Pro Djs about this feedback at the beginning of last week and there was no response... so i figured i would post it so others can not have my experience.

We had Columbus pro djs at our wedding. THEY WERE AWESOME! We are very happy with all aspects of the wedding. They provided the sound system for the ceremony which was in the woods and also had a separate dj booth set up inside the Barn at backwoods barn. They were more then accommodating. Our dj was Adam and he was fantastic. Overall we were more then satisfied and will continue to use them for any events we have. Thanks again guys!

The DJ absolutely screwed up everything that made my daughters event unique to her. All the first dances had something wrong and she had to finish her first song without music because the DJ couldnt get it right. In addition, there was so much feedback during the toast that the speaker had to be disconnected.Horrible experience and memories lost that you just cant get back. The owner had no sense of customer service and even stated to me on the phone, There are two sides to every story. Well, unfortunately for him, there is video evidence of this train wreck. Even if this were a free service, not worth the risk. You cant ask for a redo.

The dj was very unprofessional, rude and arrogant. We were told we needed to create a playlist and did so, but on the day of the event the dj used his discretion and decided to play his own music. He also played a premade cd that did not have our playlist on it while we were eating. My husband and I went up to him on numerous occasions and told him to play the playlist we had given him (because they had told us to create it) and he continued to play older music that nobody was dancing too. Finally once he started playing our music our guests started dancing and having a good time. You would be better off hooking up your phone to Bose speaker and playing a playlist off your phone. Im out all my money please dont make the same choice I did. I wish I had read reviews on this company prior to booking. Also, the man that calls you is very nice. Dont be fooled! Our guests and the venue owner both voiced concerns about how they were treated by the dj. By the way our dj was Ron
