Dr Cash has enriched my life. I finally have the correct diagnosis and treatment. She is attentive thorough and kind. Sometimes you may have to wait at your appt but she is worth it.
Dr. Cash is amazing! She has always been very kind and helpful. I dont believe any of the negative reviews Ive read about her bc they sound like the complete opposite of all my experiences with her. If you have issues with Dr. Cash, you most likely need meds or you forgot to take them.
I was a patient of Michele Cash for the past 4 years and had trusted her experience and her recommendations up until very recent. I started out on two medications and ended up on 7 medications and when one of the medications caused high blood pressure, I went to see my family physician. He was VERY concerned with all the medications I was taking and felt like I could be over medicated and to talk about this with Michele. Initially sent her an email b/c of a missed appointment that was caused by being so sedated due to one of the medications she insisted that I take, and that I wanted to discuss taking less medications. She immediately replied to my email saying that it was inappropriate and that she possibly wouldnt agree to what I was suggesting. I went to my appointment today and when alone with her, she was extremely hostile. She demanded that I make payment before the visit - which she had never done before. She had always allowed me to pay on her portal. I knew then that our doctor patient relationship was going to end. When I told her my concerns of being overly medicated she smiled and said that I have a history of missing appointments and not taking my medication properly. I asked why this was just NOW coming up after four years of seeing her and never once had she mentioned this. She continued to become more hostile and told me I should see someone else and that I didnt know what I was talking about with the medications concerns I had. She constantly runs over on her appointments and her clients are left waiting for an hour or more with no real apology except today she said thats what happens with these types of appointments. I lost trust in her weeks ago and knew things were not right and that taking SEVEN medications should be a sign that I should get a 2nd opinion. Glad I made that appointment more than ever. Again - you should be able to question your psychiatrist without hostile treatment and you should expect that when making an appointment its not an hour later.
I have been with Dr. Cash for a few months and have had a good experience. While we might not always agree on all topics or matters I appreciate her willingness to listen and offer feedback.
Worst experience ever.
