I’ve been a happy with state farm for over 20 years. If you’re looking for someone to write a policy under the group make sure they don’t mess you up like they did to me. They droped me w/o my knowledge claiming they couldn’t process payment when in fact no attempt was done to get hold of family members when I was gone out of town. 4-5 members of my family have their plan.When I came back they raised my rate by 100% claimed driving w/o insurance. They have added accident from my spouse into my account affecting my credit. . I now can’t get insurance they wouldn’t give me Accident letter of experience letter. They told me to call state farm. I was on hold over mints and they hung up. I am furious as I can’t prove I had no at fault accident yet it shows in my credit which hard to prove and he refused to give me letter of accident experience telling me to call State Farm which is difficult to get hold of. Every insurance I call tell me he is suppose to do it.If you can get a hold of someone at the agency, don’t count on them to reach out to you in any way. Overlooked or misplaced a renewal notice? No they are not going to call a day or two before the policy cancels. If you’re looking for a proactive, problem solving agent who truly cares about the people he works with, I would keep looking. I spent 10 years or so with Agency before moving to Ohio. They were like family to me
