Jamie and his team did an excellent job. Called and let me know when they would be arriving, arrived on time, explained what they would be doing and immediately went to work. The team worked efficiently and effectively. They completed the removal of affected carpet and pad, brought in and positioned their equipment for drying out the basement and cleaned up the protective plastic they put down on our upstairs floors. Then Jamie provided information on what to expect next. Very professional and personable. We appreciate their focus on getting the work done without more disruption than we are already experiencing. I really appreciated the hard work this company put into cleaning up the mold that I found in my apartment when I moved in. The two guys that came out, Julian and Zach were very professional, answered all of my questions, worked diligently and didn’t leave until the job was done. Woke up this morning to a flooded basement which is partially finished. An hour or so later they were in my basement assessing the storm water damage and started the clean up process. Servpro was recently hired for water cleanup from a kitchen leak. This is a scratch on the hardwood floor right outside my kitchen where they had several heavy tools including a circular saw, crow bar, etc. which they used to cut out a section of the kitchen subfloor. They completely deny that this scratch was made by them, yet they attempt to “fix” it by filling it in and sealing it to prevent any further damage. They also moved furniture in the basement and left a 12+ inch scratch on the vinyl. They refuse to give out any information on how to get ahold of management or corporate. I would not recommend them to anyone. If you’re looking for professional work, look elsewhere.

Our Basement flooded after a very heavy rain. Our sump pump failed. We had 2 inches of water covering the entire basement with the front half finished and carpeted. We had Serv Pro assist in water clean up when we had water leaking from our kitchen into our basement. We had already cleaned up the standing water prior to them arriving. So we only utilized their services for fans/dehumidifiers in our kitchen & basement. They did not properly hook up the drain tube for the dehumidifier in the kitchen, which resulted in the water being poured back out onto our kitchen floor for 24 hrs. Poor quality of work and customer service dealing with the manager.

I had a terrible water leak in my basement complete with mushrooms growing out of my carpet and mold on the carpet. I called ServPro for help and their mitigation service team (the clean-up guys) arrived this morning. They were courteous upon arrival and went to work immediately. They explained what they were going to do and I left them to it. Upon completion, they cleaned everything up and then explained what they had done. Then they showed me the equipment they were leaving (air scrubbers and drying fans) to complete the cleaning/mitigation process. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs water damage/mold mitigation services. I definitely rate them 5 stars--Id rate them higher if you had more stars!

Had a water mishap in the kitchen, resulting in water damage to the immediate area and into the floorboards. This produced sitting water in the ceiling of the basement. SERVPRO arrived the morning after being notified and began resolving the issue immediately (asking questions, inspecting certain areas, testing w/ devices). Had 2 parts to my project. One was taken care of quickly and efficiently, and then I was left hanging with no contact, no next steps, no follow-up and no timeline. We had a major leak in our basement on a Sunday morning. Our complete finished basement had flooded. I called service pro and they came out right away. They checked the moisture in the walls, started many fans and pulled baseboards. They were very quick and helpful. I was at a loss as we have never had a problem this big. We returned from visiting some relatives and the house was a disaster area. Just imagine opening a door and seeing what looked like a tornado/hurricane had hit the inside of your house! Ceilings and drywall on the floor with with puddles of water throughout. At least 90% water damage from an upstairs faucet. Luckily, I found the shutoff quickly. I contacted State Farm and Servpro was there the next day with a crew. It was unbelievable what they accomplished the first day. Having the basement flood twice in 3 months during a viral pandemic was not ideal, bit having the first restoration company come out and do a poor job was even worse. Add to that a roof leak from the same storm, and I was ready to throw in the towel. After getting in touch with the Serv pro crew to do a secondary cleanup and dry up our ceilings from the roof leak, they came in, were incredibly professional and got the job done fast and well! I am so impressed and grateful for the amazing work they did, and can not say enough good things about this crew. I highly recommend Servpro Northeast, even if you have to get on a wait list - trust me, it is worth the wait to have it done RIGHT!
