Waited on hold for 2 hours! Seriously, I understand there’s a pandemic and most are working from home but there’s no way that you’re soooo busy that you’re not able to answer a call that has been on hold for 2 hours. I literally need to speak to someone because the website can not answer my question about my child’s benefits. Absolutely unacceptable, they also hung up after my 2 hour wait!
Very friendly staff. Very helpful.I showed up around 11 maybe waited in line 2 - 3 minutes, filled out forms & out. Line was moving fairly well while i was there. Was told Ill receive a call in 24 - 48 hrs.I received a call in 2 hrs. VERY friendly person, completed application rather quickly. First time there & no problems at all.
My one star rating is for no handicap parking. Very unacceptable. Bringing my elderly mother who is partially blind with other disabilities, uses a walker on good days wheel chair on other days. No where to drop her off, all down hill on broken sidewalks. She could of gotten seriously injured if I was not escorting her.
Not a very good office. The staff are snark and probably dont like their job.Do what i did. I Went to the Office in Greenfield Massachusetts and was treated with DIGNITY and RESPECT! If you can get a ride over there, its worth the drive. I will not come here again.
Public complaints regarding wait time are the ones who get there late. If it opens at 8am well try your best to be there @8am. Myself know about wait time thats why I am there @8am. Alot of the customers are not prepared with documents and get frustrated when they are told to come back. If you know what you need then educate yourself first and then its easier to actually get what you are there for. If you need to wait then wait. Dont think that if you need to be at another place then you cant expect to be at two places at the same time or I have to go to work or I have an appointment, really. You have to be polite and expect the unexpected and deal with it. Dealing with the public is one tough crowd. So good work at Dta employees. Thank you for your service.
Most miserable staff i have ever encountered. All around rude demeanor and tone. Care less to help/assist you. Would love to give zero stars if i could.
I was going through the worst time of my life and the DTA and ESPECIALLY Ms Lynne Williams saved me !!! I just wanted to thank Ms Williams for her time, patience and compassion !!! Ms Lynne Williams is the best . TY again !! I just had another wonderful visit at the Worcester dta, Ms. Susan Milott was extremely helpful and FRIENDLY !!! So happy and grateful for all your help !! Ty soo much again
4 ways to actually attain help as an American :1 be a immigrant 2 be a battarded spouse 3 be a drug addict 4 make enough money to obtain a grant?? If i had money why would i need help???!!!?? Broken system would rather help those above than actually help a family that genuinely needs help that IS a productive member(s) of this great country.

No parking, you have to wait for hours like they think you have no life, some workers are rude, and its completely impossible to get hold of them on phone. That means you have to go in and waste your time EVERY TIME. Their website is TERRIBLE. You cant even apply or make any changes such as address and phone number. You also cant upload any documents they need to save your time. Some people dont have a fax machine, but dont trust that method to send the documents. They take forever to process the documents as well and probably would do the same thing if sending documents through online exists. Dont trust them at all because they lied to me and Im sure they did that to other people too. Last thing, there is NO equal access for deaf people. Every time whenever I come in, I have to tell them how to get my attention and rely on others to let me know when Im being called. They never provide an interpreter regardless of what their posters say.
It is so bad that they dont know what they are about, you make a request and give you food stamp only to send you a mail that they have over payed you. They dont know what they are about. How can you deduct for about 4 months and the over-paid amount is still the same.....Trying to reap money from the same poor people who are a seeking for help. They favor those they like.... so corrupt.

Not even a half star, calls me 30 mins before closing time for phone INTERVIEW and then hangs up and never calls back, here I am on the phone, late for everything, for 45 mins
Caught between giving 1 or 2 stars because they do help many people. However the system is flawed, people who dont deserve help get it and the people who desperately need help dont. They never return your calls and if you have to go in be prepared to wait 2+hours.
Hmm, Some of the reviewers on here have some nerve.You complain of no parking, hmm well I live on Harvard Street and I pay to have a parking permit every year, but I cant park on my street bc you lazy bums cant be bothered to park your car in one of the many parking garages or lots in the downtown area, bc God forbid you pay $5 and walk a couple of minutes.And the office itself cant be bothered to turn a couple of their spaces into visitor spaces, but sure let them take our residential spaces who cares. And let us deal with all the littering and the loud music.Every since this office moved in the building on Sudbury street, it has been nothing but a nuissance on the residents of the area. Also next time it snows, tell your snowplowing company that they must stop plowing in the middle of the night, before 7 am and after 7 pm, especially on the week-end when your office is not even open. We have rights and we pay rent, lots of rent, and we need peace. Thank you.
Been calling my case worker and his suppervisor for over a week now and still no call back. Rediculous.
Good staffing. Clients are not well behaved
They never sent me a letter in the mail saying when the phone interview would be. And I their dumping me in a matter of days, even though I sent back the information they asked for.
Terrible staff. Like is laziness a requirement to be employed there?

Cut me and my mom off with no warning for no reason been starved for over a month now they could care less if your starving to death ive lost almost 10LBS within 2 weeks went from weighing 110 to 100LBS they have no respect and dont care about anyone they need to step up there game they are a disgrace.

I am deaf also and there is no real assistance for us. I hate it. They keep calling me even though I can t hear on the phone. When I asked for permission to use email they still continued to call then told me I missed my phone appointment.
They put security now.... They do help people tho
Tell them i move - reduced benefits - tell them my phone change - reduce benefits - tell them my SSI is SAME - they reduce benefits - they in business to starve us to death.
They cut you off with no warning, until you get a letter in the mail a week later.... and when you call everyone is always busy, it seems to me nothing gets done there. Smh
They make it so difficult to apply to those who really need it.
