WARNING: Does this fence project (with zero gates installed) look complete to you? Brandan said it was 90% done but it was weighing on his spirit so he wanted to cut his losses and settle up. We paid for all the supplies out of OUR pocket so he had to put zero $ up front. We settled up for $700 in cash for labor. All we asked was that the front two pieces of fence be even (as in the same height) which required him to dig away about an inch of mulch), and to lower one panel if possible (again just required removing a little mulch from that panel to lower it a few inches). Apparently that was enough to break his spirit and caused him to quit mid-job.I give 2 stars because this was the 2nd project Brandan did for us - the other was cleaning up the front area and remulching (done last year) and installing a paved walkway. He did fine on that project.Overall, Id say keep the job simple with Brandan and hopefully his spirit wont crack under pressure. Cleaning up yard debris, re-mulching, mowing, etc. Dont hire him for anything requiring anything more though or you run the risk of having to hire someone else to finish what he started.Very unprofessional. Very disappointed.This project was pretty important to us, but apparently it was only a small job for Brandan ... that he apparently couldnt finish.
