Easy to find what you are looking for. The employees are very helpful to take you to the correct aisle. Returns are also pretty easy and normally quick within 5 minutes. Internet order pickup is also really quick. Prices are mostly comparable to Home Depot, but be sure to compare them for bigger purchases. Doesnt have a Tool Rentals though.
The store is a typical Lowes and the staff are friendly enough but the rodent problem is terrible. I have seen either big mice or rats several time I have been there. Tonight I saw 4! 3 of them were having a party in a garden aisle and didnt seem very scared. Just about gave me a heart attack. I spoke to a manager and he said they have a lot of them and they have a guy come monthly for the problem. I think they need a new guy.
I totally understand things can happen but today Lowe’s was just completely incompetent. I ordered 6 sand bags on line which the site the Lowe’s indicated there were 36 in stock. I got to the store and they couldn’t find any. They offered no help to me After sending me with my cane throughout the entire store to find what other sand products I may need, I hobbled through the store to find bags 50-75 lbs which I could not put in a cart. So while I was there I looked on line and saw that the Lowe’s about 30 min further away had some of the bags I wanted in stock. In order to avoid the same thing happening I asked them to call to visibly verify they had the inventory in stock before I drove 30 min away from home. Not only did they confirm it they took my name and number and said they would have it waiting for me at curbside. I drive the 30 min and when I got there they didn’t know what I was taking about. The girl who took the call from the other store was totally incompetent. She assumed based on the online inventory it was there but did nothing to get it to curbside. They once again sent me across the store to find someone in that area, which there was no one, and I came back to say no one was there and there was no inventory. After another two managers checked on this and asking how I made the order, they confirmed they didn’t have any in stock. I wasted 4 hours on this and much gas. Needless to say the incompetence at both stores was apparent. I went home after totaling wasting an afternoon and I ended up ordering some play sand from our local hardware store around the corner and my order is ready. I Will NEVER go back to Lowe’s. ToTal waste of gas, my time, and my leg is really swollen now from all of that walking. They didn’t give a damn about me. Goodbye Lowe’s!
For electrical...The fact this location has soo many 5 star reviews is incredible. You can wait 1 week for online orders on general items that should just be in stock, when you wait they often cant find them, when you go in store theyre like McDonalds missing hamburgers. This is an awful location to ever shop. Home depot has a much better range of stock, better prices, and their online ordering is exponentially better.
I go here pretty much all the time, but the other day I got helped by Johan and Allan and I left thinking how really nice it is to get such friendly and personal service. They stood out on a tough day for me, but I also go here all the time and have never been ill served. Its important, and its why I like to go there. I am also grossly incompetent with anything that brings one to Lowes in the first place, and I never feel bad about that here, and they are always full of good information.
I went there to purchase a full length mirror that they supposedly had 4 in stock of. Spoke with a Lowes employee who said it showed there was actually 5 in stock but couldnt find them. What a waste of time that was
The garden ctr. was excellent.Unfortunately I didnt get any individual names. From the first man who directed me to the woman in charge to the man who operated the forklift, everyone was super helpful and personable.I will definitely be back before returning to Home Depot.Kudos to the garden center staff.
Worcester Lowe’s is awful. It’s messy smelly understaffed and the staff there won’t help unless you run them down! Go to North/Westboro!!! That store is WELL RUN!!! Neat CLEAN with lots of eager and helpful staff. I found what I was looking for. The OPPOSITE. I live near the Worcester store regrettably. But I wait until I have time to go to Lowe’s o. Route9
Tried to by an electric smoker - twice. Both times the box had minor scuff marks, but didnt seem to bad. However, the smoke itself was very dented. See the attached photos. Looks like when it was unloaded, out maybe stacked on the shelf, somebody was a little too aggressive with the fork lift. The first one I returned, and was meet by a very grumpy customer service worker. In addition to being grumpy, she also proceeded to use her fingers to get a fuzzy thing out of her mouth* she then got ready to use those same hands to hand me my receipt. Even if there wasnt still a pandemic going on, that would be disgusting. I had to ask her to use some hand sanitizer, and she was genuinely surprised that I had any concerns. Please educate your staff about keeping their hands out of their mouths in front of customers and when you use hand sanitizer. This was a grown adult who definitely should have known better!
I paid for landscaping supplies to be delivered to me a week before Labor day, they confirmed the delivery date and time and never showed up, three days later, I placed a call to race my order and finally got hold of a manager who promised a delivery a week later which was unacceptable. They had to escalate and got me a new delivery date within 4 days. The delivery finally came in and was only half of the supplies I ordered! While waiting for my delivery I called and place the first complaint call and the second one that was escalated to the district manager. Nobody called me back at all. This company does not care about customer service and their communication skills are the worst in the industry. Now I have to go chase the rest of my order. This is unacceptable by any standards. One star was too much for Lowes.
!!!!!!! Worst CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!! - The customer Service agents do not understand the meaning of Customer SERVICE. I ordered a dishwasher online and opted for additional haul away service. The heavy equipment was dropped at the door with no intimation and the old one was not even hauled away. The store numbers are NO RESPONSE and the Customer Care is Rude and ARROGANT. THE STORE AT WORCESTER IS NOT EVEN WORTH a SINGLE STAR. The Manager on Duty is never available to answer the phone, and the customer service has no answers or solutions to my problem. Pathetic is the word when it comes to their service. BEWARE GUYS BEFORE BUYING FROM THIS PARTICULAR STORE.
I thought I fell asleep and woke up 30 years in the future when I seen the prices of supplies in the store was completely outrageous then 3 months ago talk about price gouging you figure because everyone is buying supplies and redoing homes and building homes in the area if anything he may get a deal on supplies. but no from a 3/8 sheet of plywood 4x8 for $55 to a 3/4 in 4x8 piece of plywood for around $100 never mind pressure treated or tongue and groove just astronomical prices which is unreal for an average homeowner to do any general repairs never mind if youre going to have a contractor come to your house because you dont know how... You would have to cancel your summer vacation and Christmas to get the money up to do any small repairs good luck everybody
Staff is undertrained and unaware of how promotions work with the store credit card. They will advise on items being included that arent, promotional periods that are longer than they are, and will apply the 5% credit card discount without knowing it voids out any store promotions happening at the time. Will cause you to spend more money in the long run if you try to take advantage of a deal, or spend hours running around store to store to fix the mistakes
The experience was great. And I found everything that I needed. Very beautiful. Thank you very much
Staff are nice and helpful. They seem to be out of a lot of stuff often, but lets be kind and remember covid messed a lot of things up.Clean store. Clean bathrooms.
Completely awful place. Extremely poor customer service. Very unprofessional employees. So many better options than this store.
Asked for assistance with finding flagging, I get the no worker issue, but all but 1 person had no idea what I was talking about.
Paint department has an excellent employee. I believe her name is Coralys. She made great suggestions and prepared my paints quickly.
I purchased flooring from here and had the store install it. They contracted a local company to install my floor. They were complete trash. After 2 initial inspections for a quote, they came up short in flooring and just left. They did not schedule a return visit or even tell me in any way what I needed to do to get my job finished. That was 10 days ago. The installers do not answer the phone and it goes to voicemail. I left 5 voicemails and to this day have not received a call back. I finally just went to lowes and purchased the additional flooring myself, which was not in the quote.Today I called over and over nearly 10 times until I finally spoke with someone. They told me they would have to transfer me to the right department, think that actually worked? Absolutely not. Just went to voicemail. This company, Four Seasons, is absolute trash and has miserable customer relations. Three of the finished sections of my floor have to be replaced because it was installed incorrectly. There are cuts and sections missing outside of the baseboard and in a closet there are sections with subfloor still exposed.I hope someday I actually get my floor finished. It’s beee over a month already. This is absolutely madness.
I normally love going there. Unfortunately today they had no restrooms and there was some sort of flood. But it didnt deter my shopping experience. I like Lowes a lot.
Oh my God. This was my second time here but I am always so amazed at how big this place is
Benjamin Gamble salesperson Id #2316713 at Lowe’s of Lincoln st in Worcester Massachusetts is one of the most rude workers and is completely unaware of the store’s own policies. Completely incompetent. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!!
Great place to go to be ignored when theres a problem.Ordered several hundred dollars worth of home improvement supplies and after they gave us the runaround as to when the order would arrive it arrived short. Trying to get anyone on the phone is a near impossibility.Great place for a wrench, terrible place for big orders.Small business is more often your friend whereas the big box doesnt care about you once you pay.
I ordered 5 item most are lumber Lowes send me only one order in delivery 📦 . How we gonna work. Trying to call there store or Custumer service no response. 😢 😡 😢 I order it through pro department after call pro they transfer to the delivery and no response 😂
Easy to find departments always someone available to help when needed..
Went in for a refrigerator water filter. Was given the wrong one. Told it would fit my refrigerator ended up going back to return it. Cecilia at the return desk was very pleasant. She actually looked up and said we have them in stock. She went with me down to the appliance area and served until she found one. Her computer said she had eight. It was nice to see somebody give that extra attention. Let alone being off the return desk I applaud her completely she should get a raise
Very well organized. Me and my girlfriend went through the garden center to get some plants and flower soil, it was pleasant to walk through and easy to find what we needed.
Love to shop here but sometimes the staff seems not knowledgeable and sometimes rude! Dan in the painting is exceptional! I will only go there to buy paint when he’s on duty
Went to get replacement generrator. Usual excellent service, and the Veteran discout alwayss helps.
The Lincoln Street Lowes is awesome. Great friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Had a team member stop to help me with something even when he was not from that department and perfectly answered my question.
Good place to get any thing you want for your house.
I stood around waiting for about an hour forban associate to come help me with a new front door and a strom door. I pressed a button that paged someone, but all I got were associates walking by giving me the side eye. One associate came through and when I explained I needed help getting a front door, he pointed at a cart and said I could get it myself. When I asked about the storm doors that were up on a shelf he said, I guess I can call Mike. Which he did, and then left. Mike never showed up. Pay your employees what they deserve so they actually care about their jobs!!
Online orders are a mess. I usually use the Westboro Lowes and have never had a problem. I put in an order online for a lumber delivery a week ago (I guess this stuff has to go out of Worcester). I was initially given a delivery time of the afternoon the next day. It was canceled at the last minute and no one there is helpful when you call. The online delivery guys sound like they are talking to you through a towel and banging a hammer on the phone at the same time. And then they give a bunch of non answers. Try to talk to anyone else in the store and youre routed back to the online guys. I was promised a couple times they would get the order out that night. Waste of time. Even though I get the veteran discount at Lowes I canceled my order and will buy from another business. Its not worth the hassle and unhelpful people they have there.
Organized and always friendly workers. Ive always loved the chandelier isle, so bright and beautiful choices. Check out is always fast, no matter the day
In general better than home Depot. Sometimes low stock on common items. The Worcester location is usually clean. 50/50 on helpfulness of employees (some lazy some with attitude )
Very rude and unhelpful people. Nobody here is really interested in their job . Even though this is the closest Lowes to me - I go to Hudson or Leominster Lowes the service there is exceptional . People are very friendly n helpful in these other 2 lowes location .
Replaced my dead basil plant. Will try to do better! 😉
Staff was helpful and things where easy enough to find. Checkout was simple and quick enough
Items advertised on the shelves as one price then you go to pay and it is a different price.
Very clean, always sone one to ask questions. Usually find what I need.
They have the best garden center around for the big store chains....
A very nice young man helped with my heavy bags of garden supplies
The in store representative was fantastic! Katie helped us make our appliance purchases. I took three different days off of work for delivery and they didn’t arrive any of those days. My calls to the store were met with “give them more time” and it wasn’t until a manager looked into my order & realized the delivery guys didn’t have my phone number. I just think when you take the time OFF from work to be there for a very expensive purchase, someone should at least try to help figure out why you’re sitting on your front porch for 12 hours a day three days in a row. We were told we would be compensated in some way for the miscommunication. After days on hold with customer service - never saw a dime, nothing. Horrible service.
NO ONE AROUND FOR HELP. THEN NO IDEA. WHERE THE PRODUCT WAS I NEED .NEVER GO BACK SHAME ON YOU NO EMPLOYEES AROUND
I dont usually mind lows but this one needs some immediate customer service attention. In the middle of a conversation the female appliance rep picked up a none ringing phone. I had also showed up to return and the woman Mel was very nice very helpful but there were 4 other employees just standing there while I was in line. I know I was next in line but, guys get it together m get us in and out. Why are you making Mel do all of the work? Help a girl out, stop chit chatting. Where was manager?
Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice store.
This was a good location customer service was decent product line was similar to all the other lows and home Depot that Ive been to. Bathroom was a little bit under my standard. I would go there again if I was in the area and needed something from a hardware store.
Always leave this store feeling unsatisfied and, sometimes unassisted. Im guessing I keep coming back maybe because of convenience.... definitely not in love with the store.
If you need something go see Antonio. Hes very helpful and patient with you when trying to find a product
Ive called 4 times within an hour just to set there on hold, it was super annoying the fourth time I called i set there on hold for a half hour only to get hung up on! I find that to be so rude, so now I shop Home Depot.
Lowes is convenient and always has what I need.
Terrible experience trying to order and install a hot water heater. Took a week for a 2 day job. Goto home depot they responded very quickly and should have gotten my business.
Higher prices than Home Depot. The employees shouldve picked different jobs that had nothing to do with dealing with people. I gave it 2 stars because the quality of the items not for the prices or the employees. If you can avoid it and go to Home Depot please do
App. directory not accurate but associates are often helpful in locating items.
Good service once you can talk to salespeople. There are problems with their inventory system. I bought a grill and was late told it was unavailable.
Asked Anthony where to find the doorknobs he told me the right isle. as I was walking back steve helped me with deciding which was a more efficient door nob; then he escorted the other doorknob back to the isle. As checked out Anthony provided further assistance. I definitely recommend this place. Good customer service!
The person working in lumber was very helpful, and he cut my sheet of plywood twice. Because the first cut didnt make it fit in my SUV.
This location is mismanaged, the pickup time after the ready for pickup notification was 45mins. The counter was not manned for over 20mins and requests for assistance were ignored. Just this location though, Lowes is great in general.
Its a lowes, employees know where things are. No big projects I needed to worry about so far.
Management is a mess. The managers are unorganized and have no control over the employees and have no communication whatsoever. The staff are overworked, and they continously avoid all customers that come their way for help. The place is full of rats and I wouldnt be surprised if the next plauge arises from there. People walk around without masks because its not a policy to reinfornce mask usage around the store.Dont waste your money here, go to Home Depot.
I was looking for replace my washer, they dont have to many in stock so I have too wait for 2 weeks ☹️
Very good experience! Helpful staff, found what I needed, and checkout was quick. Linda E
I went in to exchange propane tanks. I tried calling ahead of time to be sure they had propane available (because the first place I went to was out). I was given the automated menu for 13 minutes on the phone and never spoke to an actual person.I got to the store and an employee in the garden center told me I needed to go to customer service for propane. I waited in line at customer service for 20 minutes and they told me I had to go to any cashier. There was ONE single cashier open and they were having issues with the person they were ringing out. Stood in line for another 25 minutes before they opened another register. The cashier at the new register was incredibly rude when speaking to me. She cashed me out and then instantly walked away before telling me where I needed to go to exchange my tanks, even though there were multiple people in line behind me. Then she continued to give me attitude when I asked her where I was supposed to go.Im not going to throw a temper tantrum and tell you Im never going there again. We all know thats a lie. I can brush off the misinformed employee sending me to the customer service desk instead of a cashier. I can keep a smile on my face while waiting 45+ total minutes in lines. It happens. Ive worked retail before. Were in the middle of a pandemic. I get it. But when an employee is blatantly rude to me for no reason - Im not okay with that.
Awful awful delivery service they have here .
Lowes has pretty much everything you need for home improvement tasks.
Good selection, not the biggest store though
No one to cut me keys for the house at 6pm on a Thursday. they where all busy walking around doing nothing! Whent to the home depot instead 5m in and out!
Went to lowes to get some plywood and some carpet. Needed the plywood and the carpet cut. The two men that helped me cut the plywood was fantastic and very helpful. However, the carpet department was horrible. Some one paged an assocaite to that department 5 times. Then paged someone different after an hour and half finally someone came over to cut the carpet. He was aploogetic but a wait that long was unnecessary. They need more assitance and associates working and not just wandering around the store.
Bad manager do not want talk to customer, customer service very bad
A wonderful place
Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience recently with Lowe’s. I have shopped with Lowe’s for years, I’ve even gone out of my way because I’ve never had issues with them and have loved their customer service. Recently I moved into my new house and furnished my whole kitchen with new appliances. $3500 later and my ice maker stops working in my fridge just over a month after the delivery. Now, it is my fault that I didn’t get the extended warranty and I can understand that if something happened 6 months down the road then I should be responsible. But this is just over a month after. I tried calling and explaining that to them and they said there is nothing I can do. I was also about to redo my 12x20 porch, all the flooring in my house, and both bathrooms. Needless to say I will not be going through Lowe’s and after talking with customer service, they couldn’t care less. So thank you Lowe’s, I’m sure it wouldn’t have costed you much to fix the ice maker- it was more of the principle of the matter that I wanted resolved and you offered no help. I will be taking my business elsewhere, and it’s unfortunate.
Probably been here two dozen times, since we moved into our new home on Oct. 3!! They always have what I need, and there return policy gives me peace of mind, too.

Standard fare - no surprises. Good stuff at decent prices.
So challenging to find items or associates check out was good
Store clean nice place to shop
Went through the pro section today, as I have many times. The cashier made homemade cookies on her personal time and was giving pre wrapped baggies of cookies out to the regular customers. Unbelievable. There are still amazing people out there. So kind, and very appreciated. Blondin Plastering
Horrible I went in to buy something nobody would help me and the person I asked for help was very rude.o will never go in there again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good deals on mulch and well stocked.
Love the plant selection this year!!
They rearranged products and I am totally confused. But I am a old man........
We bought a GE stand alone range at the Worcester Lowes and asked for a delivery date three weeks later. The range was delivered as scheduled, during the covid pandemic. The installer was wearing a face mask, but his helper was not. Aside from that the installation seemed to go well. However, after they left we realized the six foot power cord they installed would not allow the range to be pushed against the wall. We went back to Lowes but was told they dont carry four foot cords because of code. But I found a GE four foot cord online. When I went to change the cord, I discovered the installer did not install the code required strain guard where the cord leaves the range. Over time the cord would have been cut by the metal as the range was moved for cleaning. So, no covid mask and a sloppy install.
I came here for flowers for my nanas grave. I was pleasantly surprised at the great sales & Alicia (cashier in the garden section) was so friendly & helpful. Shes definitely an asset to the company. She was very professional & spoke very kindly to the customers & her co workers. Ill definitely be back!
Very spotty help if you need anything more than finding a product on a shelf. Especially after 5pm.
Lowes is great but they could use more staff to help. I needed help cutting some cable to a certain length so I could purchase it - which I ultimately ended up doing myself. I hope its just the exception and not the rule.
I recently purchased a grill from this location and the help I received from Luis M was outstanding!! From helping me choose the right grill, to assisting me with getting into my suv. We had some trouble trying to fit the grill into my trunk but Luis ultimately came up with an idea that worked! Extremely happy with my purchase!
I like it is neat good customer service and variety of stock.
Although their supplies were limited or still able to help my son out with the timber that you all had and the price wasnt bad I was impressed
The associates are aggressively unhelpful. They practically run away when they see you, if you even manage to find one.
They had people on the sales floor that were very helpful. And they had actual cashiers and not the stupid self checkouts. Unfortunately, they did not have everything that we needed.
Only place that ever has the materials I need for my house
Every time Ive visited everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable. If they dont know they find someone else.
Great workers with great personalities and very helpful
I am excited about having this hardware store close to me. This place has knowledgeable personnel that provides excellent attention. They have quality products with unbeatable prices. The nursery has a large selection of plants and soils. I enjoy shopping here for my house needs.
