We had all our first floor replaced in our homes. They removed carpet, linoleum & tile floors. They installed hardwood floor throughout dining room, living room & kitchen. Tile was done in bathroom. They are professional, friendly & reasonably priced. I will recommend them to anybody who is looking for fast, reliable & dependable service. Love our floors!!

We had MacKenzie Flooring install pre-finished hardwood floors in our 1,400 sq. ft. condo. The only thing we had to go by was a recommendation from a friend. From the minute we met Steve and Melvin and they started working we felt we had definitely made the right choice. They are craftsman at their trade. They made some design suggestions which brought the whole project together. They cleaned up as they went along and removed all trash. The floors look amazing throughout our house. They not only met but exceeded our expectations. They were so efficient we asked them to also install new tile in both our BRs after the hardwood floors were done. They came out beautiful and Im so proud to show off their work.The price was very fair and exactly where we want to be. We would highly recommend them and will refer them to anyone that asks.

We hired Steve to refinish existing hardwood floors, install new hardwood floors in our kitchen, and install subway tile backsplash. On all three projects, Steve did an excellent job. Steve sanded and refinished oak floors in 4 rooms and a hallway for us and did an absolutely beautiful job. He showed upon time to look at the project and completed the work on time as promised. Steve also installed laminate floors in our kitchen and mud room. Like the refinishing job, the laminate came out perfect. A great local contractor that answers his own phone when you call, shows up on time, and works for a fair price. Highly recommended.

The floors look like they we just installed! I own an apartment building built in 1900 and, as you can imagine, the pine wood floors have been stained, carpeted and worn out over the years. They were very accommodating to the tight schedule and with the other projects being done to renovate the rental unit.

Steve was accommodating with our schedule as well - Not once did he pressure us to get the job done immediately (No hard sales pitch). Steve explained the process to us while giving us a vision of what the completed project would look like...and yes, the floors look much better than wed imagine they would! I also felt Steve went above and beyond...Ill leave you with this experience as well: The final day Steve put on the last application to the floors, we had to stop home to drop some items off...We have 3 little kids and we explained not to touch the floors. Well, our 6 year old rolled his suitcase right across the wet floors. I called Steve immediately and explained the situation. Steve showed up an hour later to roll out another application on the floors that fixed the streak. I felt this is a great example of how he went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. So, as I previously stated, I would recommend Steves business without hesitation. They do quality workmanship.

My parents needed some of the hardwood floors in their home refinished. I found Mackenzie Hardwood flooring and called.I spoke with the owner and set up a meeting to look at the job. He came within two days and quoted the job immediately. Of the three quotes Steve was on par with one other, and the third was way higher. We picked Mackenzie based on the fact that the owner would always be present and working the job, and the price.Steve told us what they were going to do and when, and followed through exactly as promised.Steve and his associate were very clean and considerate of the noise and dust impact during the process.Once the floors were completed and dry, he had my parents do a walk through and asked if they were happy before payment.The floors look great and well certainly use them again for the remaining floors that need refinishing.I definitely recommend Mackenzie Hardwood Flooring.

Called and set up an appointment. He didnt show up. I asked him to get back to me to reschedule. He never did.

Checked online reviews and decided to give them a shot. GOOD MOVE ON MY PART. Called and the owner Steve answered the phone. Asked how long for new install as I was under the gun for a home inspection. He said he had to look at it so he came down saw what had to be done. He was able to squeeze me in between another job within my time frame. Pricing was well inline with 2 other companies for a new install and tile entry. The floor is ABSOLUTELY SMOKING!!!! No mess and very professional. Oh and by the way I didnt know him hes not a relative. I have future plans on redoing all the floors in my house as my rehab continues and hes got my future business. Great job Steve and your associates.

IF your looking to have your floors done this is by far the right choice, great company and great prices. Their work is amazing.

You will regret it if you hire them to do your flooring. They did not seem experienced hardwood floor installers. The big gaps were everywhere between the floor boards. The glue was all over the top of the floor and I had spent days to clean. The quarter round was floating. Every room was a mess after.

This company is horrible! The installers were apparently inexperienced and lazy. They did not nail the quarter round in many places, left glue residue all over the floor, did not install the thresholds with metals tracks but instead just wedged them between the doors, joints very close together, etc... actually have to hire someone else to fix the job? Very disappointed!!!
