We enrolled our daughter at Sylvan for math support to supplement her education as her school has instituted a hybrid model for the immediate future. We are thrilled with the progress she has made in a few short weeks. Her confidence level has also increased. We appreciate the virtual tutoring option, which fits into our busy schedule. We are so thankful for Sylvan and her wonderful tutor, Joe who has really helped her thrive in school so far this year.
My daughter has been going to Sylvan Learning of Worcester for a a year. She was not very comfortable with the idea of getting help in the beginning from a learning center. However, she felt comfortable at Sylvan quite quickly. Her confidence at school increased as she realized the progress she was making. There is a great of team of experienced, lovely teachers at Sylvan. Very smooth transition to remote learning with Covid-19, too. I recommend it highly.
My son started a three hour a week tutoring schedule with Sylvan about 4 months ago when his mi term report card came in with a 60 in math. After three months, he now has a B+. He likes going to tutoring and they have helped him to fill in the gaps of the basic skills he never really mastered. He is doing great! It is a little expensive, but Julie, the director, and the tutors are great and your child will thrive.
Our daughter Hannah was having challenges with reading and lagging behind her classmates. Sylvan created a schedule and program that worked so well for her.We just received her progress report stating she had honors in all herclasses. We could not be more thrilled or appreciative for Sylvans help.It has additionally given Hannah so much more confidence, as she is starting to enjoy school much more. Our many thanks to Sylvan of Worcester!Keep up the great work and aiding kids to achieve better learning habits.
My son needed extra help with writing. His reading was way above grade level but his writing was just at grade level. Because of the wide gap, the teacher recommended I get him some extra assistance. I called Kumon and others but they only helped with reading. Sylvan was the only program that offered a tailored learning environment for my son. They sat with him and personalized his course -- even when he was resistant the staff found a way to make it fun for him. We travel over 30 minutes one way to take him here and it was well worth it!
When our child started having the same trouble in math in 9th grade that she had in 8th, we sent her to Sylvan. By 10th grade her math teacher told us he wouldnt have guessed math had been a weak area for her. It was such a relief to hear!
