Brought my child (and myself) in for some piercing/bonding time and had an amazing experience! We couldnt commit to a time frame that day for an appointment so came in as first time walk-ins. I just have to commend the staff on their friendly and professional demeanor! We asked tons of questions and pored over their awesome jewelry to our hearts content! When we met Marc for the actual piercings, he put us right at ease with his calm persona and attention to detail. It was very clear that we were a priority and he helped fill in some knowledge gaps so that we were completely satisfied with our piercing choices. I’ve had three body piercings (nose, tongue, navel) & an ear piercing (industrial) done here (all of them close to 10 years ago now) & I still have them all to this day! Mark was incredible, very knowledgeable & soothing. Aftercare instructions were very clear, jewelry is great quality. My boyfriend’s daughter is looking to get her navel pierced & I referred her here! 10/10 would & do recommend!

My 7yo daughter had been begging me to get her ears pierced for a while and I finally gave in. She was so excited. The counter help was great in helping her to find the perfect pair (little crowns with light pink stones). I especially appreciated that they talked with my daughter and made sure that she really wanted it before going further. We went on a weekday so we hardly had to wait. I wish I had gotten the name of the woman who helped us. She probably said it, but I was all sorts of nervous. They asked me if I wanted both ears done at the same time, and I did, as I was afraid that after one, my daughter would not want to get the other one done. The woman was so kind and explained everything to her and made her feel comfortable. She went and got a helper (I think she said his name was Ry?) and they were both very calm. I was able to hold my daughters hand. They were as quick as they could be, and though my daughter did get upset from the pain (she doesnt have a high pain tolerance), the woman was calm and helped me calm my daughter down. She let us stay in the room for a few moments until we were ready to leave. After we left the room, the staff were exceptionally nice in admiring her ears and telling her how brave she was. Its been 2 days, no complications, and my daughter even showed the cashier at the grocery store her ears yesterday. They were very professional and helped me make my daughter very happy.

I have been going to Piercing Emporium for the last 18 years and it is the ONLY place I will go for my piercings. They are always busy, so you know they are the place to be!! I get all of my work done by the owner, Marc, and he is an absolute delight! The whole business is full of great people, an awesome atmosphere, and high quality jewelry. 10 out of 10.

I had my naval and septum pierced on the same day here. I really enjoyed the experience at first, the piercer was kind and understanding and answered any questions I had. The septum piercing came out amazing and I would recommend going there for facial piercings, although I cannot say the same for my naval. It was pierced quite high and I could already feel some discomfort since it was nowhere near my belly button. I wasn’t quite sure if I should take it out or not but decided it would be best to do because of how it had a greater chance to scar. I’m really upset about this as well considering that I really wanted to like this place but now I’m afraid to return.

This is an amazing emporium. Clean very organized, staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a well known piercer and tattoo artist that both do amazing work. I will continue to refer people here and tell them of my own experience. Great Place

I am so grateful to have found Ismael and to have his help with my medusa piercing. I had it done previously by a different studio and it was done with horrible quality jewelry and at the wrong angle which caused a negative reaction to the poor quality metal and a huge irritation bump that could have been prevented had it been done at the proper angle. I found this studio on the APP website and drove an hour away to have it looked at. I was extremely anxious but from the moment I walked in I was happily greeted & treated with consideration and respect. Ismael examined the old piercing and was honest with me about my best option which was to remove the piercing, allow it to heal and then reconsider piercing it. He kept in touch with me for weeks until it was safe to re pierce it. I went back last night to have it re pierced and he was honest, knowledgeable, professional and made me feel comfortable the whole time I was there which was so nice compared to the experience I had at the other studio. If you want the best possible piercing experience then you need to come here. I have to say THANK YOU to Ismael and everyone there for all of their help!!

I brought my daughter here to have her belly button pierced but we were turned away because I also had my 9 year old son with me. Drove 10 minutes to Miraculous Creations and we were taken care of with no problems.

Got one of my helix piercings here. I have many piercings so I am fairly experienced in taking care of them and this was my first ever piercing to get infected. I went to the other piercer I normally go to and they told me that it was so tight my ear couldn’t swell so it became inflamed. After I told my usual piercer that this place told me to come back in 4 weeks to get a shorter post, she said she wasn’t sure that was possible because of how short my original one was. This was in November. It is now May of the next year and I just had to remove the piercing myself because the pain became so bad I was losing sleep. Keep in mind this was after me cleaning the piercing 5 times a day. This isn’t even to mention the outrageous pricing and the lack of affordable options. Also I don’t want to hear that they make their prices in accordance to the quality of their pieces because every single one of my other piercings were $40 including jewelry and I’ve never had an issue. I didn’t return to get it fixed because the 45 minute drive didn’t sound pleasant just to receive passive aggressive comments from the snooty people at the counter.

I went for a walk in this afternoon and they had me in and out of there in half an hour. Wonderful experience and a great atmosphere. They made me feel super comfortable and well prepared for the experience. If I ever get another piercing, I 110% plan on going back there. They really put your safety first. Very clean place as well!

I’m honestly really upset. I used to love this place. However, a few months ago I went in to get my third holes done. I had gotten my second holes and cartilage piercing done at piercing emporium before as well. My third holes were painful and had swollen bumps. I went to another piercer at a different piercing shop and she told me that the piercer at Piercing Emporium who did my third holes was careless and got HAIR in my piercing! I now have to see a doctor to fix BOTH of my ears!!!So overrated, so expensive for some piercings that I have to go to the doctor for. Never going back, they aren’t as great as people make them out to be.

I had a great experience getting my nose pierced (for the second time)! They were professional and respectful of my time as soon as I walked in the door. They were able to use and sanitize the jewelry I had already purchased from them in the past. I love the quality of the jewelry. They provide clear instructions on how to care for your piercing and demonstrate technique which is great for people new to piercings. I have no current plans of getting another piercing, but if I do in the future, Piercing Emporium will be the place I go!

The staff are friendly, knowable and professional. Any questions we had they could answer and explain in a way that helped us understand what we wanted to and more. Today I went to get my earlobes re-peirced and my heilex peirced. The service was excellent, and staff were very welcoming and kind. Ry had done my peircings and he did a fantastic job. He really explained everything and he made sure that I was happy with everything. I didnt have an appointment, and they took me in right away! My only flaw was that the email I was supposed to receive was not sent, but Im sure that was a network error and we are trying to get it resent. But overall very clean, very professional, and I would 100% recommend.

I spent $600 (not including tip) on a tattoo that looks absolutely nothing like the inspiration photo I showed the artist. Unfortunately I will have to spend even more money to get the tattoo fixed. Very poor quality tattoo. I have been a regular at WPI for the past 4 years, so I am incredibly disappointed in my most recent service.I can’t find the option to respond to the owners response so I will respond on the original post. I believe the tattoo artists name was Travis, however I’m sure you have the information and know who it was. The tattoo artist did not make a drawing prior. He stated that it would be easier to draw the outline directly on me rather than place a stencil. So I was only presented with an outline and not a detailed stencil. I chose to trust the artists process as I have been a regular at WPI and never had any problems prior to this experience. I did not return to speak to the artist for two reasons 1) I was very upset with the tattoo and shocked at what a poor job he did 2) I do not wish to have this particular tattoo artist do anymore work on me considering how badly this tattoo came out.

Very COVID safe. Got my second nostril pierced by Cathryn, she was great. She worked really hard to make the piercing even w/ the other side and it came out amazing. She hyped me up the whole time, made me feel great about it before and after, and clearly cared a lot about what she does. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Out of my 8 piercings, this was by far the best experience I had.

I brought my infant daughter here to get her ears pierced by the owner and prior to coming in I had emailed him asking a bunch of questions and he replied back very quickly and gave me a call about all the updated Covid rules & regulations along with facts that I should know prior to piercing her ears. He was very knowledgeable and informative. When I came in, the room was very clean I love that they use all disposables so I know that things aren’t being reuse after I leave. After the piercing was done he made sure that if I had any questions or concerns to reach out, and typically you don’t find that with other piercers. I was definitely satisfied with my daughters ears piercing and I would definitely come back when I’m ready for piercings myself.

I went to get my nose pierced for my 18th birthday on the 27th, there was a line but it went by quick and my appointment was on time. the man who helped me pick out the jewelry was so nice and patient. i forget names, but my piercer was so funny and chill, it made the experience so much better because i wasn’t nervous anymore. on top of all that, my piercing seems totally fine and doesn’t hurt at all. 10/10 experience, these people are the best. definitely going to come back here :)

I am disappointed that my daughter (21) got her septum pierced there and immediately when she got home the opal ball fell off, I had to pay to replace. And since time of piercing I have had to spend over $150 on replacement balls or jewelry for it. She did check it everyday. When I reached out the response I got was its her responsibility to check it daily which she did, twice a day.

My husband and I made an appointment for a tattoo consult for Friday April 16. We show up and they said they only have 1 tattoer and he couldnt make it due to car trouble. We rescheduled to today April 23 and the lady told us there was no appointment scheduled and asked if we gave the $4 deposit to secure rhe appointment. We said we were never informed of a deposit on either time. We were offered the option to wait approx 1 hour to do the consult. We declined. This experience was unacceptable from the beginning, so well go elsewhere.UPDATE: They called us back (probably after reading the bad review) and made it right. They apologyzed and asked if we could go back again. We were close by, so we did. We had the tattoo consult and we left there very satisfied with the conversation. The tattoo artist was professional. I believe in second chances, especially because they called right away and made us feel like we were important clients. Looking forward to getting a tattoo here soon.

It saddens me to write this review. I have been going to piercing emporium for 6+ years. I have always swore by them and felt they always gave me great service and valuable knowledge when it came to piercings. However since they moved to their new location and expanded I unfortunately feel that their quality of service has gone down dramatically. While I still feel they are a very clean studio and there are some amazing piercers still there (Ask for Marc he’s fantastic!) I have unfortunately found that the last few times I have been to piercing emporium I have been met with a counter staff that is not nearly as knowledgeable as they once where. Their waits are now incredibly long for walk ins. And I have received services that are not what I requested, rushed, and ultimately were unsafe.Two of these experiences for me have unfortunately lead me to seek out other piercers to rectify the issues. (Cale who used to pierce here now owns her own shop Orleander and I HIGHLY recommend). The first time I was given a massive ring for my rook piercing. I asked for a smaller snugger ring. Was told that it would not sit flat around my ear. I was fine with this. They looked at my ear for a second and then wrote down a number and inserted it. It was so oversized for the space that it was constantly being hit and putting pressure on the piercing. I sought out the help of Cale who was able to fit me with a ring that was smaller and still allowed ample room for swelling with the ability to downsize in the future.The second time I had a major issue was with just a reinsertion of my jewelry after surgery. The day before surgery I went to them to get my jewelry changed to retainers. They sold me what they had for retainers and charged me a $5 jewelry change fee for every single piercing (9 of them). They did not have the retainers needed for my daith or septum but no big deal I’d had them forever and my septum is stretched so I was concerned about losing it. Marc changed everything out for me which was a lovely experience and he had lots of knowledge to share! When I returned 4 days later to get my jewelry put back in I came with everything still in the sterilized bags assigned to each body part. I explained to the counter people where I wanted each piece to go. I explained to the piercer where each piece to go. He assured me he knew where everything was going and began putting in piercings. He insisted that nearly all my piercings had closed or collapsed to some degree. Fine, these things happen. I was told my 3 ring septum could now barely fit 2 rings. I was told I could go before all my piercings were put back in. He lost one of my gold rings in the process of putting in all my jewelry and very kindly replaced it for me. When I left I noticed he put one larger ring in my septum in the front and my rook ring behind it. The jewelry was much too small to be warn in a septum. It was cutting into my nose on both sides and the seam was not lined up both rather next to one another making it tighter. He stretched my rook to fit one of my thicker gauge septum rings which was also huge for the piercing. Through out my time there I expressed many times that this jewelry placement did not feel right/hurt. I was told that this just “must be where they go as the gauges match”.When I went and saw Cale 2 days later she swapped the rook and septum for me and everything slide right in to place and comfortably. There are small cuts on the inside of my nose from the too tight septum ring and my rook is irritated from the stretch.I did not want to write this review but my concern at this point is that since expanding piercing emporium has hired some people that I do not feel as though they have the same extensive level of training and knowledge that once made this studio so great. And this last experience really jeopardized the safety and health of my piercings and I do not wish that on anyone else.

Arrived on their busiest day (the day after Christmas!!) For my daughter to have her 2nd lobe done..we had a loooong wait (little over 2 hours)..however the staff was SUPER friendly and very knowledgeable. Everything was explained in detail and everyone was really very nice (I did get a little bratty about the wait I must admit😑😑) I will be back for myself very soon!! Best of Worcester for sure!

Always a pleasure going here! This place is sooooo clean, and filled with polite, knowledgeable individuals. You will not just receive a piercing. You will get aftercare instructions, be given a saline solution to take home, emails and support for if you have any piercing trouble. I wouldnt trust anyone else to pierce me. I have moved to Florida, and i STILL WAIT till i visit Mass just to go to them for any jewelry changes or piercings. Awesome place!

I called ahead of time and they told me they accepted walk ins. They put me on a list for 2 hours and could not give me a general approximation. If I knew I had to sit in my car that long I would not have stayed. If only one of the multiple people I met with told me I needed my ID this wouldn’t have been a big issue. I was with my mom, so I didn’t think I needed one. Could’ve drove home and back for it, if was told ahead of time. So, I wasn’t able to get my ear pierced. I was disappointed to the staff being somewhat unfriendly towards me after waiting all that time. I have never left a review before, but thought I’d share if you plan on going. Expect a long wait and make sure you have an ID with you.

Very professional, all the staff members are compassionate about what they do. The front desk staff were patient even though they were slam packed. Theres always a long line here because the piercers here are the best around.Thats also why they are quite a bit more expensive then a family owned business of sorts. It costed me roughly $130 for my snake bites (2 lip piercings) that included the cleaning solution.Yes, during covid they are piercing faces. Everyone worse masks and gloves in the piercing room. Sterile and organized.I couldnt recommend anyone else.

Ive gotten or observed over 20 piercings here and it is highly reputable, professional, and the staff are super passionate about what they do.

Prior to the piercing they made sure I knew exactly what I was getting into, and made sure I knew the risks instead of just doing it for the money. During the piercing I was allowed to take the time to decide exactly where I wanted and the piercer allowed me to change my mind several times before my final decision. Directly after, the piercer made sure I was okay (not pale, able to stand and walk) and allowed me to take some time to get my bearings after getting 3 piercings. Overall the staff was very attentive and polite.

Got 2 helix piercings a few months ago and had to get one of them removed today.The piercer not only pierced the top one crooked, but he also put the wrong posts on both earrings. Also gave me horrible instructions on cleaning the piercings and never even told me his name. Go somewhere else!

Amazing place to get piercings done! I got my second lobe piercings and cartilage piercing done here. I absolutely love them! The staff are so friendly and the jewelry is high quality. I went somewhere else for my nose piercing and hated it so much I cried. I went to piercing emporium and they switched out the jewelry in the piercing for me! Incredible place! I plan on getting all my future piercings here.

Every staff person was exceptional! My daughter finally consented to allow my granddaughter to get her ears pierced! She was so excited!! Staff spoke to Emma, not us. It was great. They made sure SHE wanted to be there. I loved it! Yes there was a very long wait but it was worth it. Now that I have experienced it there I wouldnt go anywhere else. 100% satisfied.

I haven’t gotten pierced here but will in the near future. I emailed and called so many shops over the past two weeks and kept getting no’s to my question. Finally called Piercing Emporium and they explained per guidelines they couldn’t help me at this time. The level of professionalism is beyond words. They went into detail both over the phone and in a email.

My 6 year old granddaughter wanted to get her ears pierced for several months. Very professional informed staff. Staff is great they clear up any misconceptions and make sure you understand the after care. I was with a person who was a little scared and the artist made them feel comfortable. I highly recommend for any type of piercing. The jewelry and piercing was very reasonable.

Amazing for piercing my daughters ears! Mark was a PLEASURE to work with. Professional, wonderfully explaining the process to my child and myself. Extremely knowledgeable about piercing. The Piercing Emporium is EXTREMELY clean, and the piercing and tattoo rooms have sterile sections (a process they take seriously). I had an issue where my daughters earring topper came off, I called and was able to be seen the same day by Mark. I highly recommend the Piercing Emporium, without reservation.
