Service masters was recommended by our insurance adjuster and I have no idea why. Probably because theyre cheaper for the insurance to cover but as the saying goes you get what you pay for. In their case, you actually get less than what you pay for! Seriously THE WORST services ever. I wish I could give them a -5 star rating because they dont even deserve the 1!They were hired to do soot removal from our home which was supposed to include things like removing a dropped ceiling and all of the insulation, cleaning items covered in soot or documenting them for replacement for anything they could not clean.Well not only did they not clean well AT ALL, they actually missed part of the ceiling and insulation that was supposed to be COMPLETELY removed. The dropped ceiling grid wasnt cleaned AT ALL and they even bent some of the grid pieces during the tile and insulation removal. Other items werent cleaned properly either.Ive discovered some of my possessions are actually missing entirely since they cleaned. No, not damaged items that needed to be thrown out, but obviously things they THOUGHT would go unnoticed.This is THE WORST company you could use for any type of services they offer. I hope this review might help others from falling victim to this terrible company.And the only response Id care to have from the owner on this review, would be an offer of a full refund so that a qualified company could come and RE-clean everything that they either half cleaned or didnt clean at all!

This company has to be the worst of all the contractors that I have had to deal with after my house fire. Scheduled an appointment for an estimate on water damage clean up. The appointment was kept on time and the technician was very professional. Measurements and photos were taken and a quote was to be delivered. Days went by and no quote witch lead to phone calls from me chasing them. When a connection was finally made with the firm I was ask about who was paying for the service. As soon as I said that I would pay in full upon completion of the service they had no further contact with me. Leaves me to think about how companies like this one are tied up with major insurance companies ? Dont waste your time with them !

Bill the boss was professional and quick to respond. They took care of our needs after hours. I would use service master before servpro any day!
