If you want a consistently great cut you need to book an appointment with my only go to barber Seth! I’ve been going to him for 5 years now and he always has me leaving with a great cut and on time since day one! I have switched up my haircut styles many times and he always delivers! He’s flexible with the type of cut you want and can pretty much do any haircut, eyebrows and beard style your looking for and it always comes out amazing! I have referred multiple friends with different styles of cuts to him and they all left more then happy and have made him their go to barber. Trust me he will bless you with his cuts! Ps: He’s got 8 years+ in the game so he is for sure nice like that!

Went to the barbershop after a recommendation and wasn’t disappointed. Barbershop was very clean, and everything seemed disinfected. Every barber there was friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. I’ll def will be going again, and wouldn’t mind who cuts me cause they all are great.

When we first walked in, the first person who spoke to us said my husband wasn’t allowed in with us, ”to many people” but there was only the barbers and 2 people in their chairs and then us. The barbers name was drew, very nice and professional but the hair cut he did on my son was horrible, he like layered his “bangs”. We asked for a skin tight medium fade, longer on top. And I am so embarrassed for my son to be walking around with this hair cut. Getting it fixed ASAP

I’m visiting from out of state saw that MVP’s barbershop had a good rating and I desperately needed a hair cut. I drove by several times and saw they had a light sign that’s on that stated walk-ins are welcome. Well that wasn’t the case, I walked in this morning said good morning to everyone no one spoke back, and one of the barbers with colorful hair asked do you have an appointment, I said no. Now mind you, he had an open chair I know this because he was sitting down when I walked in and there was no other customers, everyone else was already getting served. It was a total of 6 people in there including the barbers, the colorful haired barber came running after me I’m guessing one of the more experienced barbers told him to chase me down. Overall customer service is very important. The barber should’ve said, since you don’t have an appointment let me see who’s available, if no one is available let’s get you an appointment set up for a later time or later date

First things first is, I love this barbershop. They do very good at their haircuts. They take time to make sure every haircut is perfected to its beauty. When you come in the barbershop you expect to have a nice haircut when you get out. When you leave MVP’s you get all of that! You walk out feeling like a new person. Having a nice haircut ready for work or school. And everyone compliments you for having a good haircut. It feels good.

I used to love this place. Ive come here for 4+ years, even driving 20 minutes just to get there, but the wait times have become a serious problem.Their walk-in-only policy means that you either have to get there 20 minutes before they open, or you will be waiting for at least 1-2 hours to be seated. The problem is, their staffed-hours are inconsistent on a regular basis.Google says they open at 10AM Sunday... but Ive seen them open as early as 9AM on and as late as 11AM on Sundays. You wont know until you get there.I have been burned so many times by this that the quality of barbers isnt even worth it anymore. For 2 times in one week, Ive showed up at their listed opening time, and left without a haircut after waiting over an hour. That is how bad the wait times are.Id rather do my own haircut at home, poorly, and get 3 hours of my day back.

I go faithfully every 2 weeks for the best haircut in Worcester. A good barber is hard to come by. I get compliments all the time and every referral has visited and loved their cuts. Very diverse with all hair types and continuously building their clientele.

I like the experience and how nice the barbers are. The only thing that I dont like is wait times. The earliest I get out would be 3 hours after I arrived. I asked for a shadow fade down to a 1 with point sideburns and I got exactly that.

I would not recommend this barbershop today!!! I lived close by during high school so I always went. I’m very particular about my hair but one guy there always gave me a great haircut and professional business. I just recently moved back and went to get my haircut. My old barber wasn’t there and the ones that are there are a complete joke!! Sad to say because this place is owned by a great guy who’s daughter is a friend!! I believe he can make it great once again but needs to be there more to manage and supervise. Staff is ghetto as hell and don’t follow instructions. I ask for a mid fade and a trim of my ends on top. Usual pompade kind of look. He gave me a fade that was between mid and high and cut off my hair to the point that I couldn’t do anything but just leave it, less than an inch long!!!! Waiting is a joke, the sign up sheet is a joke, and the talk and music is so profane I see no more kids there. This used to be an all inclusive family/neighborhood barbershop with great talent and great service! Sad to see it like this. Fix it!!!

Amazing barbershop. I have gotten my cuts done by Ricky, Seth, Jordan, and Keila and every cut turned out fire. Only down part for MVPs is that you have to wait a while to finally get your cut but its well worth it in the end. Best times to go is early when they open or early weekends.

Probably the worst spot to get a haircut. Expect to wait at least an hour in line since the barbers take hours cutting one strand of hair here. One of the barbers didnt want to stay and properly cut my hair cause he wanted to get home quickly even after waiting so patiently. Total disrespect. I let it pass the 1st time I came but the 2nd more than confirmed it. No appointments, prices are jacked up, doubt they are licensed, and dont take card. Better to go somewhere else where they will treat you right and respect your time.

I set up an appointment with one of their barbers so that I didnt have to wait in the two hour line. When I arrived for my appointment, was told the barber I made an appointment with that very day went home for the day. Mind you, I left my name and number with this barber and never got a call back for a reschedule or anything. One of the barbers basically shrugged me off and told me to come back another day. I needed this harcut because I had an event to go to the next day, so I had no choice and had to wait in the super long line. They didnt even offer to bump me up since I made an appointment... When I finally got a haircut 2.5 hours later the barber that cut my hair did an excellent job. Although I got a pretty good haircut, their customer service was very poor. If you go here, be prepared to clear out a huge chunk of time in your schedule.

The reason behind this low rating is because I was given an unsatisfactory haircut. I had a cut with Ricky. I asked for a fade and he completely forgot about it and cut my sides way too short. In addition, he cut way too high where it looks wrong and awkward so now I have to comb my hair down to hide the baldness of my sides and how high it was cut. Would not recommend this to anyone. A few days prior, when asked about whether appointments were an option, I was told no. Granted, it was the weekend, however, the barber that I asked didnt even bother to tell me that appointments were available on the weekdays knowing that I left because the line was too long. (Found out appointments were available reading through reviews) I had high expectations for this barbershop but was sadly let down. Definitely will not be returning.

Absolutely horrible, first time I was there it was good but all other times were complete bs, last time I was there I was there on a Saturday and Saturdays are walk ins only, I HAD TO WAIT 2 HOURS JUST TO GET A CRAPPY HAIRCUT THAT THE BARBER DIDN’T EVEN TRY ON, I WAS THERE BEFORE 10 PEOPLE YET THE BARBERS STILL TOOK THEM BEFORE ME. Im really sad that customers are posting incorrect reviews of this place.Dont want to write in detail about these unprofessional guys but couple of points which will help you decide.1)i called for appointment but response was its walk-in only and only 4 people are ahead of you2)went at 11 am today(9/17/2017).3)there is no order in which they do service.friends first(so you will never get a hair-cut if they have some 2-3 friends as visitors).4)loud no-sense music(just personal opinion).5)even when there were so many customers were present, 2 out of 3 sense-less barbers decided that their time-pass was over and now they want to leave home.They just left6)the last barber said that 2 more barbers are on the way(haha..what a joke.are they VIPS?)7)I left without a haircut at 2.30 pm.3.5 hours wasted for no reason.

Walked in there to see rickie and found out he doesnt work there anymore. I was upset but decided to give someone else a try. It wasnt even comparable to the cut I usually get from Rickie. On top of not being happy with the haircut I walked out the door with, I felt uncomfortable with the entire experience. Thankfully I got ahold of somone who knew where my friend by the window went. I will now be seeing him at Studio 269 on Plantation Street and I dont plan to return to MVPs again. Im very disppointed with the entire staff they have there now and I will not be recommending anyone to go there for a cut anymore.
