When I was first looking for a Barbershop, I was nervous about picking one because of its stereotypes and my gender. I knew I definitely wanted to go to a Barbershop, but I was conflicted. After finding Heartland Barber, and seeing the image online of “Every Gender, Every Religion” etc is accepted, I felt extremely welcomed by the sign and decided to give Heartland Barber a shot. I felt immediately welcomed, and not judged. Josh is also an amazing barber. He gives awesome cuts. I always look forward to my appointment the week of, and love my haircut afterwards.

Josh has been nothing short of amazing every time I’ve seen him. Not only has he taken covid seriously, he’s taken giving you a top notch hair cut even more seriously. I can’t wait to bring my groomsmen here before my wedding here - have a heart and go to heartland!

Josh is everything you could want in a barber. Hes professional, personable, quick, reasonable in his rates, and he does his job really well. Ive never second-guessed a haircut or beard trim after the fact with Josh. I leave the shop looking great, and getting all sorts of compliments. He listens well, and is able to execute just about any cut you ask for. The shop is comfortable and clean. He plays good music. Its just a great experience.

And Im glad I did!Heartland Barber is situated inside a great, independent coffeeshop, cozy in vibes, but spacious in execution. Josh welcomed me as a first-time customer, listened carefully to what I was expecting, and delivered on every point. He was friendly in conversation and there was never any awkwardly, forced dialogue that could be happening in other spots. Josh is extremely professional and was very knowledgeable.The barbershop itself is very welcoming and very inclusive, decorated to the ceiling with artwork, photographs, and memorabilia.Im glad Im able to find a barber in a new home and I cant wait to recommend this shop to others that may have felt the same way.

I’ve visited Josh twice now and he’s exceeded my expectations. I’ve had two great haircuts. He runs a beautiful shop in a great location. Make an appointment and get there early so you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the adjacent coffee shop. It’s really an ideal situation as essentially the waiting area is a coffee shop. You can’t go wrong and you’ll go back.

Hands down the best haircut experience you can get in MA. Josh always does an amazing job, is friendly, has fair prices, and the music and posters are awesome. During COVID I have always felt safe coming in, and felt like Josh takes safety and comfort seriously. Booking appointments online is super easy, and you never have to wait, just show up on time and sit down. Going in on a Saturday morning is always fun, dont forget to grab some coffee from New Tradition as well.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Josh for about 8 years now. I still drive out more than 35 mins to get my haircut by him because I know that the time will be well worth it. His character is none other than admirable. People of all trades could learn something from his work ethic and values. If you aren’t already going to his shop you’re missing out.

Straight away if you are not captured by the esthetic of the building, then the services and professionalism of Josh will cure that for you. The ease of making an appointment online and getting the haircut you desire is swift. As you pass the time getting a haircut, Josh is very down to Earth and easy to talk to and every corner of the shop is pleasing to the eye. From the motorcycle workshop in the back to the coffee shop in the front its everything a gentleman will need. I will be a returning customer and I highly recommend you to this Baber.

I have not had my haircut since Pre-Covid times. Of course responsibly Heartland closed, and I moved to California before reopening. I refuse to get my hair cut by anyone besides Josh, so I’ll be disheveled looking until I visit the east coast. The whole building is a great environment and the cuts are always a 10. Get there early and grab a coffee and a t shirt. Don’t be a coward.

Best barber in the area and Ive been to a lot of them. Josh is a true professional and an easy going guy whos up for chatting if youre in the mood. The shop is very clean with thoughtful decor and great tunes. I love being able to book a time slot online as opposed to the first come first serve style at most other shops. I always leave feeling great about my haircut and will keep coming back. Bonus: theres a coffee shop / moto parts company in the same building if thats your thing.

This place is truly a unique barbershop here in Worcester. As you walk in you enter the coffee shop and on your left are the stations. I’ve been looking for a really cool barbershop for a long time and I have finally found a cool place here with Josh. The vibe is awesome, the haircut was amazing, and the music playing in the background made me feel right at home. I will definitely be coming back to josh for my future cuts! My girlfriend being a hairstylist loved his work as well. Tons of parking in front and on your way out be sure to grab a cup of coffee or check out the motorcycles they have there. Heartland Barber is the best there is. The location is great as it is centrally located and boasts plenty of parking. The shop itself is clean, tastefully decorated and simply oozes cool. Josh - the owner and primary barber - is a great dude and skilled barber. It was easy to make an appointment, I felt welcomed and valued while I was there, and I will undoubtedly be coming back.
