Stay away!! If you are even considering working with this company, do yourself a favor and run the other way. Joe Parker is the CPA who owns this company and is the one who takes your money to file your taxes, or at least claims to file your taxes and then files the wrong information, or does not file it at all, even though you will pay him in full upon completion. Joe Parker had been doing my taxes for almost 4 years and about 6 months ago, I decided to hire another CPA after firing Joe and realizing that all he does is rubber stamp returns even if the information provided by his bookkeeping staff is completely inaccurate and down right wrong. After I hired this new CPA, not only did I quickly learn what I had been missing for the 4 years while I was working with Summit (ie: true customer service and true knowledge of the IRS), but I also learned upon my new CPA filing my latest return, that Summit had NOT filed for my company to be an S Corp with the IRS over 5 years ago, even though he said he had on numerous occasions and he actually prepared and created AND filed 3 years worth of returns for my company as an S Corp. The IRS had NO RECORD of any tax returns having ever been filed for my company, because he was filing my corporate returns as an S Corp even though he had never received approval from the IRS for my company to be an S Corp. I was completely left in the dark about this. So now that I have learned this, not only have I already paid Summit in full for all the returns, but I am now on the hook for thousands upon thousands of dollars in fines and penalties due to his ineptitude and ignorance. Needless to say I am taking Joe Parker to court and will be reporting him to the GA Board of Accountancy. He should not be allowed to do this to other clients. There are so many other good CPA services out there. Do yourself a favor and run away from Summit Financial Solutions!!

I have been using Summit Financial Solutions for going on 15 years and recommend them to everyone!!! They take care of my taxes, payroll and help keep my business on track. They have also helped protect my family & get things in order when we were dealing with my mother in-laws terminal cancer. They have also helped a couple friends get their small businesses on track from other accountants mistakes. I can sleep well at night knowing their team is in my corner!!!

My best friend recommended Joe to me when I needed help with my parents taxes after my Dad passed away. What I expected would be a long and arduous process dealing with masses of paperwork turned into an amazingly fast and painless process! My only regret is the fact that I spent so much time on their taxes in previous years instead of handing things over to Joe. I wont make that mistake again!

Saw Joe today and he really went above and beyond to help with my situation. I have been to other accountants and he is BY FAR the best I have ever worked with. Being in sales, accounting and taxes has always been my weakest link. Thanks Joe! and Summit Financial for making me feel like I have someone I can trust to guide in the right direction :) Christian

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!This place is rife with incompetence, dropping the ball multiple times at every step. Do yourself a favor and AVOID the headache Summit will give you!!Not impressed with their scheduling; called and made an appointment, confirmed the day and time. When I showed up a few days later there was nothing in the system for me at all, and the CPA was booked solid for the rest of the day. Another CPA was able to see me instead, but annoyed that my appointment was apparently never actually recorded.The next day I get a call confirming my appointment for a completely different day and time! What happened to not being in the system at all?? I called to cancel and expressed my annoyance at their scheduling mishap, and all I got back was Well at least you were able to see somebody! Really? I could have gone to H&R Block and seen somebody too. This company was highly recommended, but just that first interaction left a lot to be desired.Once I received my paperwork, I discovered my taxes had been files WITH THE INCORRECT ADDRESS!! There was nothing I could to about it as theyd already filed, and I instead had to send in a change of address form to the IRS, even though my address did not change and it was 100% their fault. Summit didnt even offer to pay for postage to send in the change of address form!! HORRIBLY incompetent people here, nobody knows what theyre doing. TurboTax works better than this office full of morons.

Ive been using Joe @ Summit for the last 4-5 years now. GREAT company, excellent feedback, support, etc. Staff is incredible as well, and are always very attentive to customer needs and questions. I highly recommend!
