We attended her webinar organized by SBDC Marketing Monday Series and also took one on one session with her. Our business is very unique (we make machines to make chocolate) and we did not know how to mix emotion with machines on social media posts. She immediately grasped finer details about our business and gave lot of suggestions to create our calendar for next one year. She also showed us how to intertwine our marketing efforts with these posts to get more visibility and drive more sales in turn. April has a beautiful personality and strives to please. Although her efforts were more than valid, my website had many glitches that now have to be fixed. I paid for web development so my overall cost to get the site up and running were not cheap to say the least. She was very much willing to make edits. To begin with, we had several instances where the site would not load properly. After she fixed that, we seemed to be off and running. However, the functionality of the site was not up to par. For instance, the menu page, when you clicked the music page to buy mp3s it would take you to the check out page. You would then have to go back to re-load the page again. I cannot say that I was extremely disappointed with her service, however, I will never pay that kind of money again without doing more thorough research of what kind of site the web developer specializes in.Music and Entertainment sites have many moving parts and should be easy to use with functionality; otherwise you can just build a site on your own with the cart included on WIX or square space.
