Very quick and easy to work with! Got my spouses computer fixed quickly, and for less than I was expecting
I love this place!! The best in town to get your computer fixed!!
This is by far the only place your going to want to bring your computer to if you want it to work well and have your privacy respected and secured, not to mention the costumer service is amazing they really know what they are doing here. This is my go-to spot for CPU repair and maintenance.
Great service and reasonable prices
They were able to recover thousands of pictures from an external hard drive that (all of a sudden) said that it was empty! Im so appreciative to Computer Chick for getting my priceless pictures back! They are very friendly & helpful as well! Definitely recommend them, as we have used them before!
That Computer Chick rocks! They do everything from A to Z, and we love using them! Would recommend! Thanks!
Reasonable price structure and very knowledgeable!
My husband and I lunched at Marietta Pizza Company and saw “That Computer Chick” sign across the street. He’s owned a tech company for over a decade and is our local area “computer guy”.This weekend he had computer parts about the house, up until 5am trying to fix a snag he hit working on a machine of a family member.I came home the next day and he was absolutely thrilled, said “That Computer Chick” bailed him out big time, and even showed him what he was doing wrong. They charged a very reasonable nominal 2 figure fee and he couldn’t be any happier. Thanks “That Computer Chick” for giving me my living room back 😉
They are honest reliable and experienced. Highly recommend them and will definetly continue using them for our computer issues..
11/08/16We bought a new computer & were having problems switching data over to the new system. Called That Computer Chick. Kimberly came immediately & was a Godsend! She not only cleared up our problems on site, but later, when we needed some data restored, she very cleverly accessed our computer from her office & assisted us in obtaining the data. Kimberly at That Computer Chick Company is amazing! We highly recommend her & That Computer Chick to anyone needing computer help. Friends & family had told us how good this company is............& they were right. They are the absolute best!
So nice to have someone work on my computer who understands that I dont have any idea about how they work. Nice that they take the time to show me how to do things to keep it running right and recognize that just because I am a dud at computers doesnt mean I am nuts! Very encouraging and helpful. The recommended the laptop I bought 6 years ago and have only had to service it twice. Both times my fault and they fixed reasonably and quickly. Really have saved me from having to buy a new computer and my hubby liked mine so much that he bought the newest version.
What a fabulous place to come get your computer repaired. The staff is wonderful, especially Crystal. She will spend as much time as needed to answer all of your questions. Every time we have been here, we have gotten great service! We are so thankful to have our computer working great.
Ive been using That Computer Chick for several years for multiple home and work computer issues. I give them a 4 out 5 because the quality of their work is good, but they could improve on time frame for repairs and communication. Overall, its good, reliable service, if a bit slower than I would prefer at times, so I keep coming back and dont plan to go somewhere else and take my chances. One thing I like that I only found out about recently--if your computer is still in working order but needs something repaired, you can call in and get in the queue for repairs. They do repairs on a first come first serve basis, which is very fair, but sometimes means your computer might sit for a few days until its your turn. So you can call in and put your computer in the queue and then bring your computer in the day they are actually ready to work on it, so that you can use it for a few more days.
I always take my computer problems to the good people at That Computer Chick. They have always provided me with timely service for my personal and business computers. I have been a customer for many years and I have never had a negative experience. The professionals at That Computer Chick have always been kind and respectful. It is a pleasure to work with them and I recommend them to family and friends.
I have used That Computer Chick for about 8 years now on multiple computers within our household and business. They are the best and wouldnt consider using anyone else! They always get us in and out quickly, minimizing our down time when repairing our computers or moving data. Prompt and courteous service are very consistent throughout the business and I feel very fortunate to have this service provider in our community.
I was refer to that Computer Chick by another computer place ( a friend ), I was not disappointed. She did not try to sell me a new computer screen to make more money. She encouraged me to buy the used one and she also disguised the computer why I was waiting. Great place! Price reasonable.
Always outstanding service whenever our office is in need of tech support! Kimberly and the rest of the staff always put us at ease and are very easy to work with.. HIGHLY recommend using them!
Emily and Kimberly are the best. They provide great advice on purchasing the right computers for our practice needs. Kimberly recenty came in and networked our computers as well as networked our specialized chiropractic diagnostic equipment. Kimberly also helped us with our backups. That Computer Chick is our go to for IT service.
Around 12 years ago I had a business computer crash with accounting, scheduling and Word/Excel files on it and was unable to retrieve any data. For around $100 the owner was able to extract all files and load them onto a new computer. They have also done other services for us over the years, often offering us money saving tips, such as which free anti-virus, malware and parental control software to get.And since I dont have a degree in computer science, I appreciate the fact that they speak to me on my level. I would never take my computer issues anywhere else.
I needed an easy hard disk replacement that took 3-1/2 days and they had said if I was a business they could expedite the work. I had to call them 4 times only to find how little they had done --they called me. They did not know answers to several technical questions. Though they got the work done, their casual laid back approach is not one I think most people would be happy with.
Our business has been using them for years and we ALWAYS receive great service. If youre a small business or someone that works from home and need back office on call IT support or general pc repair work done I highly recommend them. Kimberly and the rest of the staff are excellent and always put us at ease even in the most difficult of circumstances.
They were helpful friendly and knowlagble.
They are the best their prices are reasonable and I love dealing with them I couldnt ask for a better company to work on my computer
I was skeptical after seeing a couple low-star reviews, albeit 2013 / 2014, but called about a problem with my MacBook Pro after receiving seemingly exaggerated quotes from local competitor computer shops (including Apple Genius Bar). One wanted me to make an appointment, which I did, later cancelled, and had me super worried my MBP was seriously screwed up requiring a very costly fix.Called Kimberly @That Computer Chick and she ballparked what she thought the problem was based on her over-the-phone diagnosis, contingent upon seeing the machine herself of course.I rushed it to her, and she was spot-on, dead accurate. Kimberly had the problem fixed within 5 minutes, literally under 300 seconds, saving me over $600 from the other estimate -- absolutely amazed at her expert diagnosis. She demonstrated to me the problem was fully resolved -- cleanest computer repair ever.Could not offer a stronger recommendation for Kimberly and That Computer Chick. 5-star all the way
Took my laptop in on a Friday afternoon because the fan wasnt working. It stayed overnight, and on Saturday I called to check in. As other reviews said, theyre pretty busy, so it may take a bit for them to get to your device, but when I called to check in I was told that it should be fixed Monday. The lady working on Saturday explained everything they planned to do it terms anyone could understand, and she was very accommodating in allowing me to take my laptop and use it overnight and bring it back in on Monday morning. As they said, the laptop was fixed on Monday, I took it home and the fan is working like new. Ill definitely use them again if I have any computer problems.Ive used computer stores before for past problems, and I should add that their charge for opening a device was cheaper than Ive seen elsewhere.
I was worried I screwed up my sons 2015 MBP MacBook Pro.I figured I could tackle a seemingly simple SSD upgrade from stock Apple 128 GB to new superfast Samsung 970 EVO 1 TB SSD (on sale now amazon $169)I thought I was pulling the power cable, but yanked the wrong connector instead by mistake. It took me hours to figure out what it was, iFixit has a lot of videos which were helpful to educate me and identify that it was in fact the tiny ribbon cables connecting the keyboard to the main logic board.Theres a trick to getting it re-seated, a little eyelash clip that opens and closes. I just tried stuffing it in there and smushed it. Got it to boot but some keys didnt work, backspace, space, shift, right side numbers and letters, symbols.Well, I called Simply Mac and they said it could be cheap, like if just trackpad cable, only $170 (only??), but if keyboard ribbon more costly bc thats not separate, and attached to keyboard itself, so that would need replacement, as part of bottom shell for $659 !! Dang I really screwed this up.I called That Computer Chick in Kennesaw, a small independent one-off shop. Kimberly affirmed my suspicion, the tight keyboard connector might not be seated properly. I ran it up to her shop in Kennesaw. She fixed it in 5 minutes flat, even showing me the trick and how touchy those micro-ribbon cables can be. whewThat Computer Chick Kimberly really saved my butt. So incredibly thankful . I learned she fixes phones and other electronics.Theyve earned my trust, I will gladly shop there again !
Normally like but very disappointed that they would not replace my USB port because they would have to weld it. Was told they do Not do Any repairs that require it. Lost my business permanently. Also, the computer chick was Male!
Where to begin? I took my computer to them (against my better judgement) because they were close and I was desperate. I explained that this was my business computer...running two businesses and a nonprofit on it and could not afford to be without it. They charged me an expedited fee to get it bumped to the top of the stack of jobs and promised Id hear something the next day. They had me leave both the computer and my external hard drive, which I told them was extremely important and to NOT LOSE!! The next day, no word. The second day they told me that I had a virus and they would need to wipe my harddrive and reload everything and the cost would be 300+ dollars. I was despirate and told them yes, please do quickly as I had to go to a family funeral and wanted it back before leaving the next day. They promised to call. The next day, still no call. I was right up the street from them, but rushing, and since I had not heard from them, figured they were not done. I left for family funeral. Before I returned, they told me they were done, so I sent my husband to pick it up. I came home the following day (this is a full week now, after having dropped off to them) to find they did not give my husband the external drive and many of my files were not loaded on the c drive, nor did they partition the drive, as it was prior to their getting their hands on it. Nothing worked. None of my bookkeeping files were loaded, drivers were missing, and nothing worked. I was livid. I had to return the next day to get my external. No apology...nothing. After several days of working on my own, I finally managed to get everything running again, but I lost all the files associated with my husbands law firm billing. Cant explain that one. Over the last four weeks Ive had issues pop up and things happen with this computer and twice Ive called them. The first time, it was about my external drive. Then I called to ask how long their work was warrentied because I was having issues with the computer not booting up. The number for their store was redirected to one of their employees at home (I could hear a kid screaming in the background) who told me that the office was closed and that someone would call me on Monday morning. No one ever called and I was able to resolve the issue on my own. The last time I called was today. I got a message on my desktop telling me that the version of windows was not authentic and that I needed to purchase an authentic version of it or register a good product number. My screen went black and my screen background disappeared. I wasnt sure what that was about, so I researched it and found that sometimes third parties will load a version of Windows that is only good for a month before the buyer starts getting this error message. Well....its been exactly a month. When I called I told the gal that I was tired of having issues and that for what they charged me I could have purchased a rebuilt computer and not had all these issues. She actually got attitude with me when I told her I was an inch away from leaving bad reviews. She said that the owners would be in the office tomorrow and I should bring the computer back tomorrow and theyd fix it. So I did some more research and found out that the product number is on a sticker on my tower from when I originally purchased it and so I registered it with the CORRECT number. Now, why didnt the Computer Chicks do that when they had the computer the first time????? Instead, they reloaded Windows with a random product code that they knew would flake out in a month or so instead of doing it right and then just tell me to unplug everything and haul this thing back to them again tomorrow. The girl on the phone even admitted it was an easy fix. And in fact it was. I fixed it myself!!! So heres my review. They over charge, take too long, dont call you, then try to turn the tables and blame you for their horrible customer service. I will warn everyone I know about them.
Mixed review!I first took my computer into the Shallowford Rd store and it took 3 months of no calls or updates as promised for me to finally get my computer back. Very unprofessional!I then took it into the Due West store and it was quickly diagnosed and fixed. They were wonderful!
Extremely satisfied with my experience. I was called as necessary and got my computer back sooner than I expected. Friendly and helpful!
I have been a highly satisfied That Computer Chick customer for at least 10 years. Ive been using computers of all kinds as an IT professional for almost 40 years and computer problems are usually complex and frequently very mysterious! What I appreciate about That Computer Chick is 1) their extensive knowledge and experience enables them to determine whether the problem is software or hardware (or both!) 2) their willingness to continue to peel back the layers of a problem until it is as completely resolved as reasonably possible. 3) the way they let me know what I should be doing to avoid future problems. I recently had a virus that kept reappearing and Linda knew all about how it worked and tracked down the multiple pieces in my system until it was 100% eradicated - without having to reformat my hard drive. As she was doing that, she pointed out other potential bugs and cleaned up my system - its now running SO much faster! Ive also had problems that could only be resolved by a complete system wipe and re-install. I wasnt happy about this at all - I run my consulting business from this computer and the downtime is painful and costs me money! - but at least I know that the people helping me know what theyre doing.
WORST SERVICE EVER! My hard drive crashed and I wanted my data retrieved. A week after having my computer they called to say they turned it on and couldnt retrieve the data. Well DUH! I knew that when I took it in. They could now try to run a program. Why did you bother to call me if you hadnt even tried to retrieve the data other than turning it on. What a waste of $50 for them to try and turn on my computer! Never again! ****UPDATE! Took my computer somewhere else and immediately they were able to retrieve all my data off my crashed hard drive. No need for extra programs, all the data was right there. Computer Chick lied and ripped me off!
I dont trust just anyone with my computers or my data. The staff is exceptional and always professionalSarah and Emily are my go to computer chicks!!
I was referred here from the AT&T store on Dallas Highway. My Iphone 5s screen was shattered and they said it would be cheaper to go to comp chick than through AT&T. Computer Chick successfully replaced my screen. The following day, my front camera sensor broke internally. I took it back to comp chick because they were the ones who ripped it when replacing my screen. The next day they called and said their technician would have to order the part. I gave permission & the part was ordered. The following day, they called me and said they ordered the wrong part & it would not be solved. Therefore, they did not have the part, did not know how to fix my phone, and i was leaving to go back to my residence in Missouri. Their solution was to refund me a measley 40 bucks for labor. Im still not sure how they think 40 dollars is enough to buy a new part myself, which they told me to do, and find someone in Missouri to install it. I know i will pay more than 40 dollars for the part and labor to get this whole ordeal resolved. If a company breaks something that belongs to a customer, they should have the available resources and knowledge to fix it, hassle free. This was not the case with comp chick. This was the worst customer experience I have ever experienced, not a single person was able to fully explain to me what was wrong with my phone in the end.
First time there. Staff is very friendly. Hope the end results are just as good.
Horrible, horrible, horrible service. Definitely the worst Ive ever had. They were dodgy and unclear about when my parts would show up. When I asked them what was going on with the parts shipment one of the employees blew up at me and was overly defensive. I tried to back off, but she pressed the matter further and talked to me like a child. I did not pay several hundred dollars to be treated with such disrespect. When I tried to get in touch with the owner to complain and ask what was going on, I received a voicemail telling me they did not wish to finish the work Id employed them to do. Completely unprofessional. I took my business there for years and referred people to them, but after seeing how they treat loyal customers, Ill never go back.
They know what they are doing. Best service in town.
Emily was super helpful when my dinosaur of a laptop caught a virus. She found the problem and helped us solve the problem. I will defiantly return to them if I have any other computer problems!
Best place in town to take your computers to be fixed. Staff are friendly and very professional. Couldnt ask for a better place.
Great experience. knowledgeable and helpful. Wouldnt go anywhere else.
The entire staff is professional and competent but my recent experiences with emily have been particularly outsitanding in customer service, knowledge, turnaround time and communication and if that were not enuf the charges are reasonable but bottom line is problems solvedI highly recommend them for any pc problems
Great company. Highly recommended.
Their signage says they work on all brands and models....but when I took my phone in to see about replacing a cracked screen they said they did not work on Motorola.
Awesome
