During a service visit to repair my washing machine, Dr. Fix It damaged my floor. The damages were caused by twisting and turning the machine. As a result, the floor was torn and severely damaged. Before leaving, I discussed and showed the floor damages to the technician. He denied causing the damages. I surmised there was no need to argue with the technician. Directly after the technicians departure, I called the office to file a complaint. After calling for 2 weeks and leaving several messages, my call was finally returned. I spoke with the owner. Unbeknownst to me and to my surprise, I learned that the technician who caused the damage is also the owner - Dr. Fix It - himself. During our conversation he was rude and refused to accept responsibility for the damages caused. Please think twice before using the services of Dr. Fix It.
Travis is the best. Fast and efficient.
If you have a whirlpool appliance, this company is your only option in North Georgia. I would suggest you cancel your extended warranty and Use what money is left on it to go toward new appliances. They made an appointment right away. They day of appointment the office called me to cancel the appointment because the technician called in sick and reschedule 3 days later because they had no other technicians available. The technician Brought no parts after asking questions so they would have with them. After two weeks I had to call whirlpool myself to check on the parts and whirlpool made it a priority. I was called yesterday and appointment was made for today. I was called at 11:00 am and told they should not had me scheduled but I would be the first call. Them the technician ( said that he is the owner)called me back at 1:00 pm to tell me that he was almost here literally the street next to us which we have a clear view of, (no they weren’t there) but I was told he didn’t have the part with him. I said this evening would be fine because I have been waiting almost 6 weeks. He THE OWNER SAID no he would not be here today. Unreliable, unprofessional and rude. Save yourself the aggravation. Do Not Use DR. FIXIT!! Complete waste of time. We are using our extended warranty money that whirlpool gladly refunded to go toward a new dishwasher even though this dishwasher is still under the factory warranty. We purchased this dishwasher in April at The same time we purchased a whirlpool washer and dryer because they are American made. If we had a reliable service provider in the Ball Ground Jasper area I would feel much more secure with her purchase but since whirlpool and sisters on using Dr. fixit we canceled all of our extended warranties on them and when the washer and dryer goes out it will be in the dumpster along side the dishwasher.
Great experience. Told us the issue. Fixed it including what to watch for since we have an older refrigerator.
Lets face it no one wants to spend money... that is not their fault. Glad they were able to come out promptly, wore all the Covid -19 protective attire, and fixed it same day. Lauren W. And supervisor. Did great. Whoever makes the decision to stock parts on trucks, GREAT JOB! They had what we needed and fixed same day. I know that is not popular in this day and age, but if your in the service business you gotta have the parts. So THANK YOU ! Highly recommend!
Had issue with a washing machine repair and Lauren W completely saved the day. Unit was under warranty from Sears, Sears sent technicians 3 separate times who could not properly identify and fix the issue. Lauren was #4, quickly diagnosed a circuit board problem, secured a replacement where Sears couldnt, and quickly returned to make the repair. Cant say enough about her skill and professionalism- would use her and office manager Mary Lou again in a heartbeat...great service from them both!
I filled out the online contact form. Someone called me first thing in the morning. I was given a one hour window of arrival. Travis arrived on time, had the part needed to fix my oven,a was done very quickly. Price seemed reasonable to me. Friendly people in person and over the phone. I would recommend.
If it werent for the attitude of the technician who frequently visits my facility I might have given a better review. While this company has fixed a lot of my appliances Ive had several complaints of behavior from multiple employees. Reading other reviews has confirmed that we are not the only people having this problem. If you dont treat your customers right you dont deserve their business. My last experience with this company was I could have been done by now because I was tied up with a resident for a few minutes when he arrived.
Lauren from Dr. Fix it is awesome! Friendly, Professional, and did more than required. Thanks Lauren!
Dryer belt was slipping. I filled out a Service Request on their website Sunday night. Monday morning they called back to schedule the repairs.Service Technician (Owner) Travis, was at my house around 11:00. Travis already had my parts with him. Repairs were completed before 12 noon. Travis was polite, professional and fast. I don’t think you can find better.
Exceptional service! Had a warranty repair for a refrigerator. The owner was accommodating with time, came in the evening after a long day, was courteous, efficient, explained everything to me. Fixed it quickly. Im happy.
I called Dr. Fix-It about a problem with my oven. They told me ways to easily take care of it myself. Even after realizing that I didnt need to pay them this time, they actually called me back with more info. That is customer service above and beyond.
This was the worst company Ive ever had the genuine displeasure of being in contact with face to face. The owner of the company, Travis Mongold is a complete and total pompous jerk. I cant describe his behavior with enough of those synonyms. We had a 2 month old oven that will not heat past 350 degrees because of either faulty or cheap equipment and so we called home depot to send a repair guy to fix it. Well we got quite the repair man.He (this guy is actually the owner of Dr Fix It, believe it or not, Travis Mongold) said the oven is acting normal its supposed to take at least 20 minutes to heat up. My mother said no Ive cooked my whole life and never have had an oven take 40 minutes to heat up.The guy smirks at us, chuckles and tells us you dont understand physics then.By this time I was downstairs in the basement tinkering around and hearing the yelling from my mother and a deeper voice. My sister had to come downstairs to get me up there to manage the situation. Apparently when a 63 man with a 4 inch beard comes up asking a 58 moron whats going on PAL!? the moron chirps right up and plays the innocent card. My dad had to be called to kick him out of our house. Were a very patient and friendly family, especially when it comes to guests in our home, and I have never seen my mother get upset at someone like that for the 24 years Ive lived unless I had ripped wall paper off the wall in the time out spot when I was little. It looks like this company has a very bad history of this and were going down to Home Depot to give them the word on this garbage of a small owner of a simple repair business. This was unbelievable. 0 stars if I could. Negative 1000 stars for upsetting my mother like that. Do not call this idiot. My mother is actually going to be giving her review of the situation as well.
Travis fixed my oven in time for Thanksgiving. I appreciate the help!
Mr. Mongold was great and very proficient at his job. Lowes sent him to me after two other companies failed to do what he did. The first two companies did not even open my dishwasher up and Mr. Mongold did and found the problem right away. There were a lot of hoops to have to jump through in regards to dealing with Lowes (ordering parts and waiting for said parts) but this was not at the fault of Mr. Mongold and he kept me in the loop very much so. As soon as he found something out, he called to let me know. His office also did well in regards to scheduling a date to come out and then Mr. Mongold would call to give me a two hour window as to when he would be out.His office staff was very friendly and Mr. Mongold himself was an extremely nice gentlemen (he was also very patient in answering my three year olds many questions and sometimes having to listen to my crying infant). I truly could not thank him enough when my dishwasher was fixed and I highly recommend him for his fast problem solving and fixing of my dishwasher, keeping me in the loop about what was going on and being professional and friendly along with his office staff. He earned every bit of the five stars I have given him and I wish I could give more.
Worst customer experience in my life. Forgot to order the parts for THREE appointments. Receptionist hung up on us on multiple occasions when we asked for confirmation of appointments and parts ordering. Pulled the dishwasher from under the counter, created a larger leak than was present before, then never returned despite multiple calls to fix the problem. The owner was also no help. Refused to give information regarding our account or repairs and was very amused when he was informed of the rude attitude held by his phone staff. If you want professionals that wont treat you like youre just lucky theyre even letting you get your dishwasher broken by them, I would suggest choosing another service.
I have a washing machine 3 months old and Lowes has sent this company to fix. I already had bad service and they havent even showed up to my house yet. Looks like the lady that answers the phone lied after telling me a time of between 10:00 and 1:00 and then states she never confirmed a time! I am calling Lowes to make sure this company never comes to my house ever again. I cant stand a liar!
