CC provided care for my mother for almost two years. The majority of the caregivers were wonderfully caring, professional and very competent. We were lucky to generally have consistent caregiving staff, which helped with making the care of my mother easier and more efficient. The staff seemed to really try to find good matches between the client and caregivers, which made having people in our home much more comfortable. The office staff responded quickly to scheduling issues.

Caregivers were very patient with my sister who has severe dementia. They made sure bring her to activities at the assisted living she was at especially music which she loves. Managed to get her laughing and engaged.

They did not disclose their caregiver was not vaccinated which was a huge risk to my elderly mom, who also has an autoimmune lung disease. After becoming aware of this and talking to the owner I was told they are working on getting their caregivers vaccinated. The medical community was the very first to have access to the Covid vaccine so this came as quite a shock. If this is important to you I would suggest at a minimum you confirm the caregiver is vaccinated do not assume.

From initial contact to final arrangements this was exemplary service. No sales push, complete understanding of the situation which is traumatic anyway and then finding the perfect match. I would not hesitate to recommend this company, Evelina & Kelli my wife carer as the very best. I had contact with so many and am just grateful that a friend who has used them told me just as as was beginning to despair. Kelli our care giver was exceptional, no other words describe how she cared for us. I say us because she was so kind to me the husband of the patient.

We could not be more pleased with the care our parents have gotten with CCI. The caregivers are top notch, kind, self-motivated, diligent and truly care about their clients. Our care coordinator, Tiffany is wonderful and super flexible with us.Our caregiving team walked with our family through hospice and the passing of my father who had significant and ever changing needs, and have been an incredible support to us in the transition to my mother living independently. As my fathers health declined. we worked with several caregiving agencies and CCI always proved to be the most helpful, knowledgeable, flexible and communicative. They have gone above and beyond for our family and I would recommend them to anyone seeking home caregiving.

CCI is a five star company. They cared for both of my parents. They have the most amazing caregivers which became family. They were always available for questions and concerns. Our family enlisted the help of Companion Care (CCI), for our mother who suffered from congestive heart failure, and dementia. The quality of care provided by each care giver that came to our home everyday, was beyond exceptional. They nurtured our mother emotionally and physically, made her laugh, comforted her, and gave her the gift of life with every conversation they had with her; as well as, supported the rest of the family. Our mother left us peacefully in her sleep, her one wish. We are forever grateful to Companion Care for their professionalism, and compassion, and would recommend them to anyone looking for quality care for a loved one.

Theyve provided care for my parents for the past eight months and its been an extremely satisfying experience. The caregivers (both day-time and night-time) are genuine gems of compassion, patience and care. The owner is personally invested in her customers satisfaction. She has my ultimate respect for how shes handled my dads personality (quirky old guy that he is). They are angels with my mom (Alzheimers). The schedulers are awesome to work with and the support staff are friendly. Theyre respectful and feel like an extension of my family. Theyre just great.

Office staff is terribly over worked, turn over is outrageous and shows when scheduling and multiple caregivers are sent out. Caregivers are not appreciated at all. If you want quality all the way around when getting care for your loved one. Id go any where but here.

I am a Care Manager who works with a client who gets caregivers through Companion Care. My client sometimes changes her mind about her CG schedule. I have found the administrative staff at CC to be extremely flexible and they always go out of their way to try to accommodate our last-minute requests to add or subtract a CG. I really have appreciated their flexibility and kindness!

It’s hard to say enough good things about Companion Care. We were referred to CC when the previous agency didn’t have available caregivers to staff up to 10 hours day/7 days per week on a moment’s notice. This is where Merri comes in. With just a few days notice, she put together 4 amazing women to rotate through the week to care for my 87 year-old mom, who has dementia. She met with us, bonded with my 91 year-old dad who wasn’t fully on board, provided top-notch caregivers and personally came to my parent’s home each morning during the first week to orient each of the 4 caregivers. All of this was for a very short period until we could get Mom into assisted living.This company is fully invested in the care they provide. Merri’s caregivers truly care about their clients as if they were family and it’s hard to find the words to emphasize that enough. They deserve a special place in heaven. I will recommend Companion Care to anyone I know who is looking for top quality in-home care for a loved one.

Overall, the care my mother received from the caregivers at Companion Care was excellent. My mother needed someone to be with her (and awake) all night because my mother had trouble sleeping, was impulsive, and would try to get up by herself, though she was in danger of falling. One caregiver was inattentive (asleep?) and my mother fell. But after that caregiver was discontinued, the care was superb.

I worked for CCI many years ago. As a care provider it was a good experience. When I needed to seek help for my mother I called them because I knew they would have capable people to meet her needs. It isnt all about helpibg with physical needs but requires a person to be understanding and caring. Thank you for years of caring!

Courtney R cared for my mom on the night shift. My mom had dementia and was recently diagnosed with cancer. This caregiver left her sitting in the wheelchair all night from 10 pm until her shift ended 7AM stating she told her she was fine and to leave her alone. You don’t just do that with someone with dementia! My stepdad was sleeping in the other room and would have gotten up to help. My mom was found non responsive, shaking violently with pain and her bottom was a mess when Courtney left. We called 911. She was never again able to get out of bed, eat, take fluids, or have meaningful conversation and she died 4 days later. Imagine my shock when just a couple days earlier we were laughing and playing Yahtzee! This neglect pushed her over the edge and though she would have passed anyway, we were robbed of the peace of mind knowing that our loved on didn’t suffer. Because of CCI and in particular this caregiver my mom did suffer horribly. Beware of the caliber/training of the caregivers. Some were fine. I just don’t want to see this happen to someone else’s beloved family member.The owner Merri has made light of this situation in response to previous requests for changes in hiring/training practices. Look up our civil lawsuit superior court state of WA and beware.
