Horrendous customer service. Our mail was stolen, and instead of helping us report it, the clerk said “a son or daughter must have taken it and not said anything”. Condescending and completely unhelpful. It’s no wonder the post office is struggling to get funding with this kind of service.
Im new to the area and I cant believe how poor their service is. I had a time sensitive letter arriving on a Monday which was confirmed by Informed Delivery. We received no mail this day and five days later the letter still hasnt arrived and is presumed to be lost. I filed a claim with the USPS and the Woodinville Post Office responded by saying that they spoke to the driver who didnt recall seeing it and said please call us at the number below to discuss and closed out the claim! And the best part is, there was no phone number given to call! I called the company that mailed the letter and they have to wait 15 days to reissue it so losing this piece of mail has been a colossal headache. This wasnt the first time they didnt deliver the mail at all. When they do manage to deliver it sometimes it arrives at late as 7 PM. Ive only lived in town a month and this doesnt bode well for the future. I dont mind the mail being a bit late especially if staff is limited due to the pandemic but losing time sensitive mail and then proceeding to deny any responsibility is unforgivable. I never had a single piece of mail lost during three years at my old home in Redmond.
The stuff is very nice. Helped me through sending a international package at lowest price. Was wondering what kind of service or boxes I need when checking online.
Sometimes the drive-through mailbox gets jammed but today a nice man came to helped me after hours from the behind the locked door. He helped me prepare my oversized express priority mail package. Thank you so much!
Super efficient! It usually takes me less than 5 minutes to visit this location and do everything I need that day.
I drove up to the outside mailbox to mail a birthday card and the box was overflowing. I went inside to tell them to empty it because the mail could be stolen. My daughter never got her birthday card and her gift card.
The guy did not know how to look-up a city. He could not find the PO Box, which i get, but then when looking up the city, first he started typing Puerto Rico and I let him know that is not a city and showed him the city name. He then typed in AN instead of Anasco and said that he could not find the city either. I took the package to the Bothell Post office and they found the city no problem and explained that the PO Boxes dont show up on the shipping labels. They really should train the staff to know what states and territories are part of the United States so they can ship packages to all areas covered by the USPS.
Standard post office. Its small for the growth of the city, but its not the workers fault. Ive never had bad experiences here.
Worst facility and service I’ve ever experienced! Had six packages from six different companies automatically returned to the sender because my address was “incorrect” even tho it’s not and has been successfully delivered to by ups and Amazon on every other occasion! At one point they “attempted delivery” only for them to say it’s being held at the post office, but then I stood in line for half an hour only to be told they have no idea where it’s at and there’s nothing they can do to help me. Whenever I tried to call them it rang with no answer, my husband finally went in because I was stuck at work and they proceeded to tell him there’s nothing they can do about my six returned packages and that the reason I couldn’t reach them by phone was because they turn it off because too many people call to yell at them. I wonder why!! No longer trusting them with any of my mail. Would give them zero stars if I could.
Really appreciate this particular office helping us at this critical time when most of us WFH while they are still delivering important stuff we are ordering online. The postmaster is very patient and trying his best. I believe they are all trying their best. Thank you all for doing a great job!
Substitute drivers are absolutely incompetent. Today marks the 4th time in the last two years that Ive had an important item (paperwork, paycheck, etc) delivered to the wrong mailbox. Unacceptable. Am currently on hold to file yet another complaint
A great service that needs to be praised. With the election right around the corner. It is key that this establishment stays.
This post office has a major issue with delivering packages. We moved into our apartment and for 3 weeks all of our packages have been returned to sender because the carrier, thought no one lived there. We were still receiving all of our mail. We would receive notices that packages were being held, and when wed go to the post office they were already returned. You have to go in person to get customer service because no one answers the phone and trying to figure out how to get a real person on the line is next to impossible on their message machine. Even with great face to face customer service the things we were told would be done to fix this error were never done. Im still trying to find packages that were returned to sender and are now straight up gone. I dont know how much money Ive lost yet through this post office, but I am appalled and would never have moved here if Id known what a disaster this post office would be. Fed Ex and Amazon have not had a single issue delivering packages to us.Update: In a hilarious turn of events, all of the mail I have returned to sender has come back to me instead. I do not think they know how this works.
Very rude personnels, not recommend coming here.
I have been to this office and everything went well. Im satisfied and my package arrived in time. Customer service was very helpful. Thank you.
A package I ordered through Amazon was shipped by USPS. It was shown as delivered but was not. I attempted to call the USPS and got the automated telephone answering service run around. I called the Woodinville post office several times during operating hours and the phone was not answered, just cut off after a long period of ringing each time.
I have always had great service at this P.O. The people are friendly and efficient. Service is usually fast and explanations are very helpful. Remember the US post offices have had to deal with fewer offices and prepaying for retirement benefits for current and future employees. What other business has to do that? They also deliver in areas other carriers do not which means some people would be without service if this pOstal service did not exist. One other thing to consider, the post office is not supported by our taxes. Stamps and delivery 📦 are the way they make money for salaries etc.
Mail gets lost and/or never makes it to my address. Had important documents sent back to my old employer three times despite verifying multiple times with them on the phone that they had the correct address. Post office returned it to them multiple times with Return to Sender, address incorrect three times. Eventually employers had to fax documents to me. Mail sent from my personal mailbox never made it to those I was sending to. Now Im trying to find another important document that sender has confirmed been sent. Probably wont ever see it. Ive never had so many problems with a post office before.
Been in Woodinville for 3 months now.Not ONE single package has been delivered successfully.Ups, fedex and Amazon have no problem!
I have never failed to have a mail service problem resolved. Ive used this post office my entire life and over thirty years Ive never had a significant problem. The staff have always been helpful and courteous, even when I wasnt being civil myself.
They get the job done but are extremely rude. Always. One customer leaves and they say something rude about them to the next one in line. One refuses to even respond when asked “how are you”. I asked three times lmao. Overweight lazy ladies work here.
I had a need to visit the Woodenville USPS office because I needed the flexibility of the 3:00 PM Saturday closing. My experience there today was excellent. Since there are so many negative reviews that office, I wanted to report my positive review.Arrived at about 2:20 PM. Wait time inline: about 2 min. Excellent.Walking up to the counter. Greated pleasantly and asking how I can be helped. Excellent.I asked to mail the priority envelope that I brought. USPS employee asked if my material would fit in the flat rate package since that would save cost. Unfortunately, it wouldnt, so the priority envelope I used was the best. Excellent.USPS employee provided a receipt, noted the information there on tracking and the survey - all politely and efficiently delivered. Excellent.USPS employee asked if I needed stamps, envelopes, or packing material. No, I didnt. I appreciated the reminder. Excellent.I departed the USPS office with my mailing task done. Total time in the building: about 8 minutes.I realize that others have had issues with the USPS and the Woodenville office in particular. Today, for my, everything went as well. Im satisfied.
Returned a Fathers Day card with postage due for additional $2.50, ($3.50 total) It was a letter size envelope about twice the thickness of a standard letter. Weight was 1.1 oz and had two stamps on it. Rate is one stamp per ounce. Ive mailed larger envelopes, thicker than this for less than $2.50. $3.50? Really?Card will now not arrive by Fathers Day. Thank you very little Woodinville PO!
Terrible, this entire USPS, is terrible. Our mail has been lost, mis-delivered or delayed more times than I can count in the last 6 months. I know its not just us because we have had packages for other addresses delivered to us. I just dont understand why its so hard to match the numbers on the mail to the mailbox.
This is not a review of the Woodinville office but of USPS. Very antiquated, obsolete technology. Very terrible IVR phone system and mostly useless web presence.USPS, wake up!!
Just got this message:USPS couldnt get to the front door, mailbox, or driveway, so please look for a note from them or contact them for the next stepsIronically, I was working in front of our house at the time and saw the USPS truck passed right by 10ft from me. I guess the guy just wanted to call it a day earlier. USPS, you are ruining the reputation of mailman.oh and of course there was no note left.
Honestly, I have been to many post offices in this region, and this one has the most efficient operation. Despite the large volume of customers, the line moves quickly.
Love the automated machine in the front entry. We are very lucky! I stopped in Duvall and Carnation since I was in the area on a Saturday and neither had a machine or desk help.
Wish I could o stars. There are some PO employees at this PO that are good and try to provide good service. Then we have the Post Master Ping who extremely difficult if not impossible to deal with. He has hung up on my wife twice. We tried to use the PO system to lodge a complaint on that and service issues. The PO person in WA DC said they would get back to us but they did not. We tried 3 times and gave up in frustration. You can not lodge a complaint locally it has to be done at the HQ.As somebody else mentioned their are many that are dour, unfriendly, brusque and not enjoyable to deal with. It is very frustrating dealing with them
They refused to grab my package for me in person on Friday. They failed to deliver my package the next day because they did not feel like walking up to my door. They are closed Sundays. Now I have to wait until after work Monday to retrieve my package that I needed for the weekend. So incredibly rude. I wish there was a zero star review option .
Got the message USPS couldnt get to the front door, mailbox, or driveway, so please look for a note from them or contact them for the next steps. Okay....except UPS and FedEx delivered on the same day within the same hour that USPS was allegedly attempting to deliver. On top of that, after dealing with a god awful robot over the phone I just began spamming the 0 until it gave up and transferred me to a real person. I have now been on hold going on an hour and all of the nearby USPS stores will be closing soon, so I cant even physically get my package tonight because they refuse to even give the location that the package will be returning to. I cannot believe this, you guys need to get your lives all the way together, for real.
The worst post office ever! The delivery person DOES NOT TRY to deliver the package and always left note saying No authorized recipient available. I was at home all day and they didnt even attempt to deliver. Full of lies lies lies.
It can be hit or miss with the customer service. If you are a regular you will notice there is not a lot of turnover in the staff. Some care more about customer service that others. I have had terrible experience as well as superb experiences there. Its a tough job and they have to answer for a many different mail carries.
Every time Ive gone in, the staff (except for a few salty long-timers) has been nothing but courteous and professional. I went in during the peak lunch time rush, there were 10+ people in the queue behind me and the gal at the counter helped me locate a package that was to be returned to sender in almost no time at all.
Always have had great customer service. The lines move fast and they always get my mail where it needs to go!
Woodinville post office is very poor service, i stop by the post office at least 2 times a week to mail packages, and every time i have to wait in line for too long to get to the clerks, there are only 2 window clerks assisting a long line. I never have a chance to talk to the postmaster about this issue, every time when i ask for postmaster, the clerks always said, my boss is not here, and transferred me a supervisor who speaks broken English, and useless, i had a hard time to understand his language,i am very unhappy with this post office, and will address this issue to upper level management if it continues on. one horrible star!
This is one of the worst post offices Ive ever had to use. The customer service in the post office is fine as long as youre not in a hurry (they eventually get to everyone), but the workers move at a snails pace and give the impression they could care less. No one has ever been explicitly rude to me here, but we live in the area and the mail mis-deliveries are frequent. Every week we get someone elses mail and receive from a neighbor our mail thats been delivered to them. No wonder the USPS is going out of business- use another service if you can avoid them (FedEx or UPS).
Every time i go to this USPS i have a wonderful experience! Thank you
Quick service even though lines are long at times. Package always gets to where it needs to go!
Worst customer service ever. Stayed on hold for an hour just for some lady to get an attitude with me.
Overall, everybody is very helpful - especially all the old timers. I am pleasantly surprised at their patience with some of the rude customers.
They do not answer phone and you get message answering machine turned off what kind of service is that. disgusting!
This is my regular post office where I have a PO box and ship a lot of business packages. Most of the staff is less than helpful, never take accountability in solving problems when a package goes missing or the automated payment system overcharges, doesnt dispense postage, etc. and they are quick to pass the buck and force customers to call a 1-800 number to dispute it where youre on perma hold for one hour only to be referred to another number...rinse & repeat. On more than one occasion my packages have either been lost or never shipped and they refused to refund my money, in turn I had to ship another package (taking product out of my business inventory) and use my business budget to ship for their error. John (? believe thats his name), one of the employees in Woodinville is as rude as they get. He often will assist customers who are picking up mail from their post office boxes or picking up packages. Personally, I have had experience with him and have observed his interactions with several other customers and he behaves as though we are all a huge inconvenience, hes defensive, always says I didnt do it when a customer voices a complaint and is completely dismissive with customer inquiries and concerns. Also, he has such negative body language, he acts like he hates his job, co-workers and the world. John, make an effort to crack a smile once in awhile, who knows, one of your customers might notice or appreciate it. Additionally, good luck if you try to make a phone call and have any hope of getting through. There line is ALWAYS busy, I wonder if they intentionally take it off the hook.Overall, this facility gets a big thumbs down.
People that work there are always nice to me and very helpful.. Found that some other customers that are just plain rude and in a rush and cut in front of you.
Worst customer service EVER. I came in and as I was in line the post office closed. When my turn came I went to the window and the man said were closed sorry and walked away from me and into the back. Unreal. The older man then called me over and helped me with my simple request. I have never had a good experience here. If I treated my customers this way I would be fired.
Why is it that every time we take a trip and place a Mail Hold this post office doesnt get it? Time after time we have to call the post office and remind them of the online mail hold I have placed on delivery. Yes, each time I receive an email confirmation of my request along with a confirmation number. Years ago this used to work. However, for the last two or three years something has changed.Recently I called to tell the clerk my problem and he explained that some people have the same issue and it turns out the the tech, whoever that is, does not communicate the mail holds to the carrier. So is this a tech problem or is it really just a personnel problem? In any case, I wish this government agency would become more efficient!
Cant deliver across the street from their post office. Tried calling number listed, and it just rings and rings. UPS and FedEx have no problems with delivery. What seems to be the problem here guys....terrible.
Its obvious why this office has such a low rating. Quing, the post master, hates his customers. I hope the district manager gets savvy to the issue and demotes or fires him. I always have issues communicating with this office, its 100x worse during the Holidays. I have seen other people get irate in the office speaking to the post master and representatives because they arent given a solution or help with lost packages. I have had issues with the same thing before.Today is my last straw, I was waiting to speak to the post master next, he didnt acknowledge me or greet me, he looked past me and asked if anyone needed help with something else like express shipping and paying with a card. I had waited in line and spoken to a representative first and was directed to him. I thought this was rude and announced, I am next and have an issue I need to discuss now, he yelled at me and said, No! (Jabbing his finger at me and shaking with frustration) You wait for me to be ready to help you! And continued his announcement to help another. I said No, give me your name and I will be complaining about you to corporate. He said Fine you dont want my help its Q-u-i-n-g! Get out! He is obviously the wrong person to be in charge of a post office and cant handle stress. This attitude infects the whole post office and I hated that I am trapped using them.
Reasonably good service for a post office. This location has meters allowing weekend package mailing.
Phone menu is junk and nobody answers. People behind the counter seem to think their job is just time to serve for a paycheck, not an worthwhile task to accomplish. Also, they dont reliably forward mail if you change addresses. I used to get mail from previous boxholders all the time, and now, somebody is probably getting my mail.
Holiday Season and your Kiosk for sending packages isnt working? All I could get it to do is everything but mail a package. With the lines going out the door you need to get that kiosk up and running. What a waste of my time to drive all the way over there to use the kiosk and it was not in service. Gonna check the Bothell PO and see if they are any better. Also, tried calling Woodinville to see if the kiosk was working and all I got was a busy signal from their phone number. They sure dont make it easy on people. The staff are actually great but the Kiosk issue makes me frustrated.
There is a scam site using this post office called Case-boss selling cheap knock off made in China crap iphone cases, The company takes your money thru paypal and has no customer service or return emails. Beware!! I got this address from Paypal to retrurn a crap fake iphone case.
I think this is the best post office at my end of town!
Incompetent. Wont answer phone. Refused to deliver a package, and neglected to redeliver via the option in their app, despite confirming they would. Next to useless.
The worst customer service ever. Completely unhelpful and rude.
How does it take 5 or more days for a check to get from renton to woodinville cuz I still havent got it worst post office ever pay an Ive called three days in a row an no answer zero stars
Packages always lost. Mail goes to neighbors. Customer service rude. The worst service ever!!!!!!
They do not let you get any information of how many people are getting mail in the house hold because I keep getting mail from different people
Bad customer service, even worse when you try to contact them.
Easy access
I called to ask a question and the phone rang and rang and rang tried for 1 hour
Does anyone pick up the phone at this number??!!
Lines too long!
