Kyla is AWESOME! I have been a nanny for over 20 years and have been hired by countless agencies, and shes the best, hands down. She has the best contract in the biz, and is there for both families and nannies anytime. I was recently injured at work, and not only did she help me figure out who to contact to apply for temporary benefits (SO not in her job description), but she was able to place temporary nannies while my families waited for me to return! She also helps vet subs when I need to take a vacation or go to the doctor, not to mention the fact that she runs a huge facebook support group for nannies and families in the Seattle area, and is constantly posting about activities, playdates, continuing education, etc. I refer all nannies and families I meet to her.

It is very disheartening to add yet another one-star review to this profile, but I highly recommend not working with this agency, they have been extremely disappointing. We contacted Kyla Lopez, the Nanny Consultant, when we learned the kids were not going back to school in person this fall. The nanny turned out to be a bad fit; they did not seem interested in nurturing a relationship with our children, or even providing basic oversight and structure. This culminated in the destruction of our home-school/play room one afternoon. We promptly fired the nanny and sent the nanny and the Nanny Consultant pictures of the devastated room. Over a week passed and we heard nothing back from the Nanny Consultant. At that point we reached out and asked why there had been no reply to our firing of the nanny and the reply was I have been extremely busy . The Nanny consultant then went on explain that the nanny we fired had also been working for her on the side (under the table) and has been absolutely amazing and there is nothing she can do for us. We felt the Nanny Consultant valued the nannys interests over the people that paid for her service, and I highly recommend not engaging in this unprofessional service.

I am a nanny of 7 years and have NEVER in my career experience had such a disrespectful, entitled and unprofessional experience with a nannying agency or a family. At first, I had a good experience with Kyla... Until our first zoom interview, was when I first started to notice red flags on the way that she runs her business, as well as her clients absurd expectations. Not only did she flat out tell me “My client won’t hire you because you have too many people in your circle during Covid.” (I have a total of 7 people in our close circle, which includes my mother, father, son, spouse, brother and in laws.) During our interview I clearly stated who I see, where we go, how we handle COVID and how genuinely careful we are about reducing exposure. After realizing that I am one of the most responsible nanny’s she’s been able to find, in regards to the virus and my experience, we continued on with our conversation (after she had already underestimated me about not being a good fit for one client in particular) and set up a virtual meeting with the mother. I felt as if the interview went extremely well, until the mother said that my circle was too big and that essentially the exposure between my loved ones and I wouldn’t make them feel safe. I was extremely confused by this; because they have a family of 6, get to see their loved ones and the mother even stated having socially distanced drinks with girlfriends outdoors.. and yet their nanny can’t do the same, at a MUCH lesser extent of people than them!!!!! 🤔 I assured her that we hardly even see our family, don’t have gatherings and hardly even go to public places during the pandemic. She seemed to really like me and even promoted to set up an in person interview at the end of the call. After the zoom ended, I get a text from Kyla stating this: “I knew nothing about your brother and it is extremely embarrassing to have heard it from my client, without you telling me.” First of all, I DID tell her I had a brother over our first interview and since I don’t see him, he is not included in my circle of close people.Secondly, my brother is a car salesman, 3 hours away and does not effect my exposure to Covid... Kyla and the mother didn’t even bother to ask me for further info, instead they assumed and bashed me about being a liar over text, not even being courteous enough to answer a phone call to talk about it more in depth.This experience made me decide to no longer be a nanny and to never support a business that is ran this way!!! Please don’t waste your time with entitled people like this. The money is not worth being undermined of your hard work and dedication. She’s the reason I left this career today and it’s a shame that someone as kind/loving is no longer willing to help families in the future.

Kind of a bunch of “cliche” woman who basically choose to give you the families information If they simply... don’t like you. If you are a nice gal there are MUCH better resources so I would save the time money AND effort. i had a degree in elementary edu, a clean record and love for children and they turned me down and said that my request of 20:hr was too much even though I saw tons of family’s on here that would pay that much plus. Both my husband and I work full time. My daughter no longer wanted to go to childcare, but leaving her home with her brother was not an option.
