Very untrusted peopleI bought a truck with side damage for 5 k when they get it I found that the engine is obviously broken and it have damage everywhere, they didn’t mention that it has mechanical damage and when i tried to return itThey refused to return it and charge me 600 USD for re-listing feeI called the customer service they told me they can’t do anything and I have to talk to yard manager who charged me listening fee πŸ₯ΊπŸ₯Ί

It’s a truck driver named Deon that has poor customer service skills. I specifically asked to have a call before drop off to dispatch to have a person there to meet him for paper work. Person didn’t have time to come out, I didn’t receive a call before drop off on two separate occasions. First drop, he placed my car in the middle of the street, didn’t receive a call until he dropped the car off. Months later, Second time, he didn’t call me until he arrived, then drove off without having a key. Dispatch and Deon keep a repetitive saying, you’ll have to speak to dispatch or you’ll have to speak to the driver Deon, which both have come to an organized understanding too, but to call you before a vehicle drop off

This place is horrible. Please make sure you have tire care for your vehicle. The loading area is pitiful. People just throw broken car parts all over the place. An no one from management ever sends anybody out to clean up the place.

Outrageous fees and awful service. I tried calling several times to arrange a pick up time. I was unable to get through so finally I just had to drive there. Not only are winning bidders charged an astronomical 30+% buyer fee, You are required to pay a Virtual bid fee $79 and a Gate fee $59 (Whatever those are). If your vehicle is not picked up in three days you are charged a $20 per day storage fee. If thats not bad enough, this year you will be required to pay a yearly membership fee.

This location is ran like an absolute circus compared to all other Copart locations we have been to. They have 8 X’s on the ground for 8 people to be safely β€œsocial distanced” in the lobby but only allow 4 people inside at a time. Next they now have it where you MUST HAVE A smart phone to pick up your car. You can’t just walk in you have to do some On-Line app nonsense. After going through that it tells us we have a 91 minute wait at 11:55am... at 12:10pm still 91 minutes, at 12:38pm while writing this review.. still 91 minutes. There is 1 person doing customer help at the desk while 8 others can’t leave their desks. You would think that the paying customers would be a little bit of a priority to any business but not here. The flint location is always in and out, very quick, no nonsense this place is ALWAYS a 2-5 hour stop. Never been in and out of here quickly even pre - covid. I just don’t understand why this is the only location out of all the Copart that can’t figure things out. I will say that despite the extremely long waits and slow customer service everyone here seems polite at least but that’s about the only good things I could say.

Checked on google auction place hrs 8 am to 5pm. Came to the location at 3 40 pm . Was told not able to pick up car. They claimed they had to many drivers come at noon so they decided not to load anyone after 3 pm . They were worried so there forklift drivers do not get overtime.called the dealer that purchased the car . He did not get any notification or email. The Karen inside told me that she dosent care that I waisted 7 hrs of driving . She also claimed there was something on there website that stated they were not releasing cars after 3 pm checked website there was nothing. Tried to bribe the forklift driver to bring me my car for 100$ . Would not take the bribe but told me would get me my car since there was no more line. But the karen from the office told him otherwise.

This place has always been Very welcoming but, I was there November 5th, 2020 at approximately 4:15pm and wasn’t called until 5:15pm and was greeted in a very rude way by an employee named Katie. She didn’t release my vehicle. She denied to get me the manager when I asked to speak with them which I thought was very ignorant. I tried to explain that I was coming from Chicago. Made a 4hr trip to pick up my vehicle and was there on time just to get denied. I had to stay at an extended hotel which was more money out of pocket and I didn’t even have breakfast in bed. I’m very upset with Katie and her customer service skills. Aside from that, today November 6, 2020 At approximately 1:12pm I was taken care off by a sweat heart named Richelle. Great customer service by her. Katie you should be ashamed of yourself.

Horrible experience. After spending thousands of dollars and dozens of hours in effort they pulled run and drive car up to me. Belt exploded in a smoking melting mess and the copart employee laughed and said ha my job is done here. He didnt turn it off and do the right thing when the belt was too tight, he just drove it straight to me whether it wrecked it or not. Then came the nightmare. Car was listed as minor scratches, no damages. Frame was rusted into oblivion - the cars frame was GONE and they didnt disclose it all, it was dead obvious with a two second look under the car on one knee. They said whoops and now Im out over $1000 in fees, airfare, gas, etc.They looked for a reason to not cancel the sale either. Car they sold me with a clean title was so structurally unsafe a cop would have impounded and seized it for scrapping were I to drive it. Should have been sold to dismantler. Avoid at all costs, do not understand any circumstances trust their assessment - a car pictured, listed, and guaranteed to not be a rbrb

The buyer fees are up to 25% which is very unethical. Most Auctions are at the most 10% so please be aware before purchasing vehicles. I paid $1000.00 for a truck and after the Buyer fee, virtual bid fee and Gate fee I ended up paying $1700.00 which is almost double.

Forgot name of the lady working there, but she let me in even after they were closed after telling her that I had been trapped by the train passing that wasted my time waiting for its long slow pace. She was very nice, accepted the payment and saved me another trip. Followed her tip to avoid late afternoons to avoid the train. Went there another time trying to see her again but did not see her. They are very fast. Now payments are done ACH to save time. But the employees there were always nice and fast. Highly recommend.

Manager there is not reasonable. Their listings are NOT accurate. Missing information. When asked about the listing theres always a cover up story for the missing details.Heres the WORST part:The communication amongst the employees absolutely DISGUSTS me. I was standing in the lobby waiting for some paper work to be completed, and the few ladies sitting at the desks begin to make fun of a customer that had been there a little before I arrived. They were cracking jokes, making fun of him, and laughing away, all while I was there right in front of their faces. I strongly believe that after I left they started making fun of me.HORRIBLE customer service and ridiculous fees (almost $3k in fees for an $8k car) Copart used to prioritize customer service but just like other multi-billion dollar companies, they lost sight of that a while ago. I needed a van and was able to bid online for one. I went into it completely blind having never seen it before. It was donated and thats all I knew.I won it for $200 and was super excited. When it came time to pay, the final price was $485! (Or $470 with a secure payment.) Maybe I just didnt read the part about all of the fees that go along with it but it definitely wasnt obvious. But thats my bad.I was able to pay for it online and had a buddy of mine flatbed it back to me. I spoke with a gentleman on the phone who was as helpful as he could be. (I was asking him VERY specific questions about the van which he himself had never seen or touched.) But he was still very helpful, along with another lady who I spoke with and e-mailed back and forth with several times. They never took long to respond to my calls or e-mails.The van runs and drives great! Only drawback is that the air conditioning doesnt work. But for $200 I now have a van for my family that I feel safe travelling in.Will definitely be buying my husband a vehicle from here soon!

They charge 500.00 more if you want a vehicle that is white than any other colors . they will rip YOUR wallet charges you FOR everything where other places wont think about charging ..only let one person inside the property if you buy a running truck and if someone elses wants it ... Guess what we had a drive shaft missing or wires cut so You couldnt take the. Vehicle YOUVE paid for . .my opinion they are crooks.

One process I hope they revise is that when you go to inspect a vehicle you cant drive or even put into gear to feel trans, I cant purchase something I cant feel. I understand liability. Had the worst experience ever with this company . Gave Copart a cashier check February 13, 2020, got a call on April1st from the RUDEST person ever saying they lost the check and i HAD to go get another one after I made a 60 mile round trip to my bank to obtain the check # during the stay home order that was in place. Made another 60 mile trip to cancel and have the check re-issued and was never compensated. Will NEVER do business with this company again.

I hated this experience with copart. I bought the car thinking it was a run and drive as listed. Car got to me and was leaking motor oil like no tomorrow, transmission was cracked and car didnt even turn over. New motor and trans and 7k dollars later and car is better. Deceitful place. I recently bid on and won an ATV that from the pictures looked to be in decent condition. You would think they would have bothered to take pictures of the 3 places the frame was completely visibly broken. Also the forklift driver hit my truck while loading it and didn’t even blink! Lots of bad dealers who cheat to make money, I used to tow from copart all day and Ive seen crazy stuff, all Im saying if you wanna buy a car from this location you better go see it before bidding on it, I remember pulled clean Saturn outlook with no trans no exhust copart described it as starts and say nothing about missing parts, also will not describe frame damage whchis illegal. Ive seen a dealer bid on thier own cars!!! The bottom line copart will describe anything run and drive they do not care, I hope they investigate this location and close it down.
