Saw a PA and they were wonderful. Cared for my work injury so that I could limit myself but still work. Listened to my feelings and gave insight on what other steps I could take to better my muscle and joint health.

Dr. Santos finished my sentences for me. Unfortunately he is not an intuitive....so I took a backseat and let him drive. I had no choice. No relief and huge bills. That made him smile....I think he may be feeling better.

Best clinic for bone and joints in the Twincities. Summit have a great facility and clinic in the Twincities, great provider for injury.

Had my third hip surgery with Dr. Skendzel. Dr. S and his team are amazing. They take such good care of you and are there for whatever you need. I have been to many other ortho surgeons and haven’t found one I liked until I went to summit. My two previous surgeries were with TCO and Mayo Clinic. I felt like I was just a number there but not when I met with Dr. Skendzel-he treats you like family and I’m so happy I was able to be seen by his team. I will recommend him or summit to anyone I know in need of orthopedic care.

The medical support provided by the clinic staff was excellent. The clinic is fast and efficient. I cannot overly express my gratitude to Dr. Drogt for the attention he provided to make sure that I could go forward with my hip replacement. And kudos for the surgery and recovery I made under his care.

Waited weeks for an appointment. Waited 1/2 hour past my appointment only to be seen by a PA who did not hesitate to tell me I didnt need to be there, I didnt need surgery, and well, basically, I was wasting his time. He didnt believe what I said and I confronted him for basically scolding me. I told him my c1 had been out of place and he said it was not possible (which it is). He did say he could have the doctor come in and he left the room. I didnt see any point of waiting around because I wasnt sure anyone was coming back, so I left. It had already been decided that they were going to do nothing. I felt demoralized, disbelieved, and shamed for trying to get help. Ive been getting worse for 6 months now. Guess I get to just suffer as PT doesnt help and I cant tolerate steroids or pain meds.

Ill never return or recommend Summit Orthopedics after receiving disappointing care resulting in further surgery from another orthopedic surgeon.

So scratch all that...still continued pain, losing sleep more and more. Asked the insurance company if a second opinion was an option which they obliged. Presented the new surgeon with the medical documentation that Dr. Warner looked at. Dr Warner assured me that nothing was wrong and that a cortisone shot would do the trick but yet in his medical notes he stated that there were postoperative changes. The new surgeon stated after he looked at everything and that Im going to need surgery again because one of the anchors is pulling out. Thanks so much summit for all this hell.

Dr Pepin is fantastic! Another shoulder doctor wanted another MRI even though the one that was 6 months old showed tearing, so I sought a 2nd opinion. Dr Pepin didnt need another MRI. He went ahead and did my surgery. I didnt need any pain meds after 2 days. His beside manner its top notch and his skills are as well.

Treated us great and with respect. Very friendly and professional. Dr. Donovan and Jessica are outstanding!

Overall have had great experiences at this location. Staff is friendly. Wait times were short considering I came in as a somewhat walk in situation.

Called them and asked that I want to be seen for my foot, asked me to come for the walk-in. The joke was that there was no foot doctor available and I came to know when they were not able to resolve my issue and instead just gave me a foot brace and hoped this would do the trick whereas I was not able to lift my foot at all. I went to a diff clinic next day and they found the issue right away.

Received amazing care by PA Jillian Cunningham for my daughters broken fibula. She was pleasant and explained things so my daughter was able to understand the healing process. We would definitely recommend her for any foot or ankle injuries!

I had a sports injury and have been very pleased with my care and with how well Summit has kept me informed of my progress and how I can return to playing sports. Bri, the ATC has been great and by my side and Dr. Warner is so helpful in getting me back to playing. This is my second injury in a year and I love Summit!

Summit orthopedic just seems to have that Knack of helping people. They are very busy because of the great customer service they provide. I like the quick ortho so you can just go in and they will try care of you best as possible. The doctors nurses and staff are all very friendly.

Doctor who treated me for elbow pain was distant, short and un informational. I’m now scheduling an appointment elsewhere for the same elbow pain that was deemed, OK.Doctor LT Donovan performed knuckle surgery in my and never told me to take the screw out of my hand. 10 years later my knuckle is just as bad as it was before surgery.In short I do not trust Summit Orthopedics.

I had an ACL/meniscus tear from a basketball injury and I asked a friend of the family (who was a nurse in leadership at a big health system here in town) where was the best to go to for my injury. It was Summit. I got in right away, prompt surgery, good PT experience and was able to get back to sports. I have sent everyone in my family with injuries to Summit.

Since I have been going to Summit since late last year and still to this day I have nothing but horrible experiences. A certain doctor and PA which I will not name don’t care about your well being or any of your concerns. They rush appointments each time and it’s quite obvious. I had numerous questions prior to surgery and at post op appointments that went ignored and unanswered. All summit cares about is money and not about anyone’s personal health and well being. I wouldn’t recommend Summit to anyone.

We did not have the bad experiences of others. Very short wait times, thorough questions and answers, appropriate care. Dr. Brian Lynn did an excellent laminectomy for my nerve pain and good follow up so far. He listened and was honest with me, as was the nurse. I would recommend him without reservation and the facility itself.

I had Dr. Wills. Sort of scared me because he looks young enough to be one of my kids. After I got over that, he knows spines better than anyone I have ever met. The surgery I had was not run of the mill and he did it quickly and perfectly. Took great care of me pre-surgery and the aftercare was top notch. I would recommend him to anyone that has back issues. I am 5 months out from having a disc and part of my vertebrae removed and I am 100% pain free with 100% full movement. Not that it matters but the scar is almost invisible as well. Great surgeon...!!!

I have been with Summit Ortho for YEARS, as in 1988. I recently was transported by paramedic for a dislocated femur fracture. I rolled into the ER at United telling the nurse to call Summit and quoted the phone #. Fortunately, the trauma surgeon was close by. Great treatment, follow up was fantastic. The PT dept is great, sometimes busy but a certain PT specialist even sees pt during his lunch. THat is dedication to patients.There will always someone in this large of a practice. But they are dedicated professionals. No one is perfect, thats why medicine is a practice. I have recommended them to multiple coworkers who have been very satisfied, we often have joked that we need our own office! Which considering we work an insurance company (yes medial) says it all

Absolutely terrible follow up with Dr. Scott Pepin. I had an office visit to diagnose a knee injury with a follow up MRI. Three weeks post MRI and two phone calls with no follow up call concerning the MRI report.

I first visited Summit Orthopedics in Sept of 2014. Knee problems and I needed to find out why. From the reception area to the Dr. Biebl everyone I saw was so helpful and set out to help me on my journey. I had a total knee replacement in Dec and am now 6 months out. What a life changing event. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone needing orthopedic care. They are the absolute best!

Pretty good, but!!! you get phone calls when procedure is getting close but the just show the number no other info with it i get a load of robo-calls so not sure what to pick up, then you get a voice mail and end up playing phone tag.

All staff are very kind. Physical therapy with Jerid is awesome. The only complaint I have is the computer phone call I received reminding me of an appointment, it sounds like a spam call. I think it would be better to identify as Summit Orthopedics right away rather than you have an important message from your doctor .

I had a wonderful experience at this location. I have visited for myself a number of times for my gout flare ups (had my knee drained and got a cortisone injection) and my son a bunch of times (hockey and soccer injuries). I felt theyve always been professional and have taken good care of me and my family.Im taking my son in tomorrow morning too to Ortho Quick (another hockey injury tonight).Im happy with their service.

Ive never had to wait more than 15 minutes to be seen and the physicians have been nothing short of excellent throughout the 2 years Ive been seeing them for this issue!

Dr. Daly and his team are outstanding. They explained the procedure clearly and took great care of me before, during and after surgery. Recovery was quick and relatively painless.

I feel like Ive never had better care than here.

In the middle of my treatment I fired them, thats how bad they are. The wait times I experienced were on average 2 - 3 hours. They trot you in and out like a herd of cattle. Listening for them is NOT an option. The more you complain the worse they treat you the next time. After firing them I went on to have a successful surgery elsewhere, where I was treated with respect.

ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! This place is like an amusement park ride with no seat belt, may seem like a good idea when your in until you see how much they dont care about your well being and If I could give this place a half of a star or no star I would! I came in with extreme pain and the doctors were helpful at first. After 3 MRIs a CT Scan and they seemed a bit incompetent in terms of trying to figure out whats wrong. One doctor told me my herniated disc was large then another doctor told me that my herniated disc was the reason why I am going through pain. Another at the same location told me it was an cervical rib that I had that needed to get removed and that was the problem. Now they are telling me to talk to the surgeon there who cant figure it out either.I am here now in extreme pain in the parking lot in my car because they cant take me in any earlier even though I told them it was an emergency. This is even after they have prescribed me a pharmacies worth of drugs that I have told them doesnt work.The support staff is also worthless! I told one receptionist at the front desk that I cant write and I cannot fill out the form. Walked to the bathroom came back and asked another receptionist if its possible to see the doctor any earlier. As God is my witness the receptionist said your not seeing anyone until you fill these forms out and your appointment is in a couple hours so have a seat! This is why I am now reclined in my car because of the pain I am in.Sad thing is thats not even the worst part. Anytime you want to talk to any of the many doctors they force you to see in order to get an answer, you have to call the main line then they send you to the doctors patient coordinator who doesnt get back to till the next day or longer. With no explanation why they took so long to get back.I am not ranting I am doing you a favor so no one else goes through this madness. DO NOT GO HERE FOR SPINE CARE!!!!

I rated Summit Ortho one star due to billing and services provided. As others have stated, they take many x-rays which repeat. This will also add another $152 per visit to your account for Radiological Examination. I live out of state and visited a local ortho group who did THE EXACT SAME new patient visit, review my MRI/X-Rays and follow up appointments and the difference in chargers is obscene. I also felt that my local Dr listened, a lot more (minus Dr Clark, she was great). To put it into perspective $757 billed by Summit to my insurance vs $175. Now, multiple that by number of visits. Crazy.

I recently had a total hip repacement and I cant say enough about how good my experience has been. Dr Hoffel and his team are exceptional. PA Jillian has been more than helpful with my progression. I cant forget about the nurses and everyone else who helped me. Thank you all.

I made an appointment and Ive been waiting for over an hour to see a doctor. This is the second time Ive been at this location and the first time was extremely easy to get in to see the doctor. Truly disappointed with this visit especially since I had to take time off of work.

Everyone was very nice and helped you right away. Was billed a couple times for insurance transfer. Wish they wouldve told me.

This place is so bad. Save yourself a lot of time / money / stress, and just go somewhere else. They fail on everything from diagnosis to returning a simple phone call. And have the audacity to treat patients like little children with no regard for patients well being or doing thier job solving actual issues. Wow, never again.

1 star for Dr. Choi and 5 stars for Dr. Schentzel. Dr. Choi & her nurse lack empathy, bed side manners & seemed rushed at my husbands intralaminar steroid injection he had, due to findings on his MRI & level of pain. After the procedure, my husband (who is a nurse) asked if he could have 5 pain pills to help him get sleep at night for the week due to the amount of pain hes been having. The nurse replied that it looked like he was Dr shopping, followed by Dr. Choi saying she cant do that and he would be flagged. My husband later, let the staff who he spoke with on the phone about what had occured. She was apologetic & agreed. The way he was treated was unfair, as if he were a drug seeker for asking. Just 4 months ago, Dr Schentzel did my husbands surgery on a different area & was awesome & professional. Very personable & even called to see how he was doing. Nurse who had gone over post op instructions after surgery was the best. I wanted to hug her when we left🙂

I had a very minor knee procedure done. They took very poor care of stitching it back up and the scar is really bad compared to what it should look like for todays technology. If this were the 80s, it would be normal. Over two months later and the scar is still very obvious and about 1/4 inch wide.Second, dont believe their quotes. Others have stated the same thing, and the are correct. They bill you a nice low number, then after the procedure is over, BAM, they double it. They claim its perfectly legal...I claim fraud.

Fixed up my collarbone with ORIF surgery and several visits to PT. My PT was great and became the face of Summit Orthopedic to me. No issues, professional service all the way.
