Modern hotel, spacious rooms. A couple of housekeeping issues: empty juice bottle on the floor; used coffee packet not removed and coffee not replenished. Room was clean. Melvin at the front desk is a true professional, something that has become increasingly less common in this industry. His customer service skills are exceptional. Any organization would serve themselves well to have Melvin representing them.

Went to visit friends who were staying there. Very nice room. We spent time on the outdoor patio. It was neat. We would definitely stay there. 😊

We were incredibly disappointed in our stay. The room was absolutely filthy. My 3 year old found 3 pills on the floor of our room and a floss toothpick. We had no housekeeping service the entire weekend. I called the hotel 3 times before our check-in date to confirm amenities and inquire about hotel policies. We were not told that the hot tub was out of order, which was the entire reason our extended family chose this hotel. There was no continental breakfast available. That is really something you need to know in advance when traveling with young children. Our room was literally falling apart, from towel bars coming off the wall. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

Should be ZERO STAR OPTION. Do not stay here unless you want to be treated terrible. I’m all about praising great service- this place is beautiful but has the worst employees and a manger who won’t even call you back and is only available from 7-2 Mon- Thur. No breakfast (short staffed) No hot tub (broken). No shower room by the pool ( broken). But hey- you get coffee in the lobby with no cups or napkins cause they are out. Don’t even bother asking for a fork to allow your 92 year old grandma to eat her breakfast (that you had to go buy off hotel property) because “forks are complimentary and when we are out, we’re out”. She’ll be forced to eat with her fingers.Terrible place. I’ll never stay at a Courtyard again.

I really liked my room, but I heard other people who did not have a good experience. Amenities werent working, employees didnt know how to block off rooms for an event and their rate wasnt much of a discount. Also theres no continental apparently now, which even in a pandemic is total BS. So yeah mixed reviews.

This hotel is pretty good. I would like to warn you about the sharp bed corners. They are pretty sharp, so just be careful going around the beds. They have bigger rooms than I expected. It could fit not one, but TWO TV’S! Staff was also very nice. I had a great stay, will you?

It was awful. It really should be no stars. I would not recommend staying there. They didnt clean the room or the sheets, we called the day before we got there asking about the pool and they said yep pool is good to go it was not good to go!! They said they needed a part but than they said we have been waiting for the part for 2 weeks? What? So confused. So why did they tell us the pool was ready the day before we got there? They lied to us many times. It was an awful experience. My family was there for a wedding. There were 6 households amoung all of us and ALL of our rooms were dirty, sheets were not clean, nobody apologized. It was awful costumer service. It was just plain awful!!!!!! Please do not stay there. So many other things that also happened. They were not consist with anything they said to us.

The hotel itself is nice and clean. They had issues with their pool. It was closed the first night and then too cold to use the second night of our stay. The check in process was a struggle. The front desk person had to literally walk through the hotel to find us a clean room. In addition, he talked to fast I could barely understand him.

Clean, modern, and friendly. We did not spend much time in the actual hotel, but the time we spent to lay our heads down saw no complaints on our end.

Stayed for overnight getaway at the Woodbury Marriott Courtyard. Overall customer service was exceptional. The swimming pool was readily available and the room was nice and clean. A few opportunities for better service are some issues in bathroom by the swimming pool and inappropriate charge. First, the soap dispenser had no soap for two days. Second, there was no toilet paper. Third, water was dripping from the ceiling in the same bathroom. The third one seems odd since this place was fairly new. My last complaint is I was charged extra for late checkout even though I checked out @1145. Otherwise the place has a potential to be a good gateway for the surrounding residents without going away too far.

I placed a phone call to ask about parking. Woman answers the phone immediately asks if she can put me on hold. Without waiting for response she put me on hold. After about 3 minutes she returns to the phone and when I asked if their parking lot could accommodate a pickup truck with a 20 ft trailer? She asked if I had an reservation in which I replied no not yet. She then told me they were sold out that I would need to look someplace else to accommodate my needs and she hung up phone.Now first off I never said I was wanting a room for that specific night nor did I ask for a room period all I wanted to know if their parking lot was big enough to accommodate a pickup truck and trailer. Still I have no clue rather or not they can. But I do know if they allow employees to answer the phone and not answer question as if they were too busy to answer a SIMPLE question, that I dont ever want to stay at that hotel!! Keep driving if your looking at this hotel as an option. If they are too busy to answer a question over the phone which is a potential customer, then they obviously dont need business.

Terrible management yelling at costumers in front of other customers. Heard him yelling at staff as well. In hospitality business Customer service is key and judging by how he treated that customer he shouldn’t be a manager. Other staff was friendly, shower sprayed water all over floor out of shower due to glass doors.

I am currently staying at this hotel and it is the worst hotel experience Ive ever had had. We drove in from Michigan to visit family with our 2 children to find out they changed our reservation, without any warning, to a single king when we booked a double queen... They were EXTREMELY rude when we asked to have it changed back and refused. We were told our king room would have a sofa bed, it did not. We moved rooms and immediately found a clogged toilet they handed my husband a plunger and didnt offer any assistance....We have had absolutely no housekeeping services, even after requesting it twice! Our garbage is piling up and when we requested more towels the front desk acted like it was major inconvenience to them. The water pressure is comical and the shower sprays so hard it floods the bathroom. Every time we pass through the lobby, there is an angry guest at the front desk dealing with the horrible employees. I will definitely avoid this hotel next time we visit and choose one of the many other options nearby.

Great accomidations.and the vending machine pricing were outrageous! $8 for a sleeve of cookies that you can purchase at the gas station for $3.59. So i recommend bring your own snacks and drinks.

For a hotel that was built in 2018 there were a lot of things that had been damaged in my room. The door had a deep indentation of what looks to be from a crow bar, yikes!!! Made me wonder if the door had at one point been broken into. OMG. The wallpaper were already peeling, the bathroom counter had stains and dents in it, and the cleanliness was lacking. Shower stall had hair on it and the glass panel has streaks and the tissue box looks like it hadnt been changed or dusted in months. Overall the moment I saw that indentation on the door I wasnt comfortable with the hotel. Due to being uncomfortable I canceled the rest of my 7 night reservation the moment I stepped into the room and checked out the next morning. I figure since they already took my money for the first day I will stay the night but it wasnt restful I was on high alert the entire evening.

Nice, comfortable hotel in a good location. Service was very nice through checkin and anything else I needed. Room was comfortable and had everything I wanted. Has a desk to work, a couch to relax, has a small fridge. I stayed during covid, so bar and some other facilities were closed. Gym is OK...has treadmills, elliptical, bike, dumbells and benches and 2 cable towers. Location is good with plenty of restaurants around as well as a while food or other stores. Plenty of free parking outside.

The front desk person lastnight night of march 18th 2021 at 1030 pm treated us so badly she didnt think we had money to pay for our room went and helped others that were behind us first and we where there for shriners she was very rude and didnt want to give us a room even with us paying for it

We booked a block of rooms for our wedding guests & whoever my husband spoke to, had the date wrong date, so months later our guests booked outside of the block & the hotel staff was not accommodating at all. We spoke with multiple different people tell us they couldn’t do anything about it. Foster was helpful after multiple calls with him but wouldn’t recommend this hotel for wedding guests for stay at. Planning a wedding is stressful & I figured setting up a block of rooms would be an easy part, but Courtyard in Woodbury made it more stressful than it should have been & wish we would have gone with a different hotel.

Beautifully occupying the space where the former State Farm headquarters stood empty for many years, this Courtyard by Marriott and the adjacent Residence Inn by Marriott make a big difference to brighten up the landscape. The Courtyard in convenient to many shopping venues, 3M, and nearby to Saint Paul. Big, beautiful, comfortable and convenient.

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. Its a cute hotel. We Arrived at 1am and the staff was very friendly. Made it way to our room and there was a big bag of trash in front of our door. The trash remained there for the entire next day. The next day getting ready to take a shower and the previous persons shampoo and conditioner bottles were still in my shower along with small black chunks of stuff in the bottom. It makes me question how clean other things are in this hotel.

My nephew reserve something they gave him something else. Ask them they said they just dont have it. Faust advertisement. No I wont go boot there

Absolutely awful. The rudest people I have ever met at the front desk made the experience SO uncomfortable. Prepaid for the room and they ended up charging me $240 EXTRA dollars for NO reason. Called and they said “oops we’ll get on that” and still have seen NO money. do not stay here unless you want to be literally robbed.

This is the second year that my wife and I stayed at this hotel, and I believe we got our same room. We loved it. The decor up to date & modern but has this vintage appeal that we love so much. I love Marriotts stayed in Cedar Rapids Iowa incredibly friendly helpful staff. I stayed in this one for 11 days. The front desk morning personal was rude, impolite, discourteous, unfriendly, unpleasant. It wasn’t until the 10 th day of my stay they offered to clean the room. I used the same towels bedding shampoo soap for 11 days. I also took out my own trash. Bags of food pizza boxes and trash were sitting outside of the rooms in the floor I was on.

Overall, the hotel was clean on first impression. Check-in was great as well as check-out. Great customer service. Hotel website is misleading though, it stated that both refrigerators and microwaves were available, at least it was in our room, that was one of the reasons why we reserved the room. We didnt realize until later in the night that our room didnt have a microwave since weve been out all day. When we called front desk, they told us microwaves were not available in every room but we could use the one in the market place, that was not mentioned anywhere on the website. Then when we were ready to sleep and used the pull out couch the instructions stated sheets and supplies were located in the closet shelf, there was none there so we just took it off one of the beds. It also wasnt until the following morning after weve already used all the linen that we saw stains on our comforter. So either it wasnt washed before our use or it wasnt washed at one point after use. Not sure if well stay again.

We have stayed here a number of times now and we have never had a bad experience. They are consistently the best. The rooms are the best in terms of comfort and the prices are worth!

The hotel is located very close to 494, which is great to see, yes it might be a bit noisy, but the hotel was worth it. The lobby the whole hotel, is modern, and more my taste. The room was great, the layout was just perfect. This hotel for me, was a last minute change because - I originally booked another one but couldn’t stay as long as I did at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel. So, thankfully I would stay the whole 5 days at the same location. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Minneapolis, St. Paul, Woodbury area.

We booked our executive company meeting here and it couldnt have gone better. Great location, new & clean space, HUGE projector screen, easy to use A/V, and wonderful employees. We booked our meeting last minute, and Andy was able to accommodate us. We also had a very last minute schedule change which pushed are first break and lunch time to an earlier time and they were able to change it no problem. The food and service were fantastic as well. We will definitely be booking this meeting space again!

The property was clean and up to date. The staff was friendly and easy to work with. There were a lot of places to find food and shopping close to the property. The property was easily accessible to the highway.

We stayed for three nights over Memorial Day weekend. We chose this hotel because it was newly built and close to family (Maplewood). The room, located on the 4th floor, was nice and clean. There were ample plugs for charging all of our devices throughout the room and by the bedsides. The shower was strong and the tub drained well. It was also conveniently located to many shops and restaurants (Portillos being a favorite!) and right off of I-94/494/694 and just a few miles to I-35E making it easy to navigate to other parts of the city. We did not eat at the hotel dining, so cannot speak to the quality of the food, but we did have reason to chat with the staff (we needed some utensils) and they were very friendly. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.

We stayed as a family on an impromptu trip to the area. We were very pleased with our visit. Rooms were brand new, very clean and bright! The beds were very comfortable too! We enjoyed the onsite bistro for an appetizer and breakfast the following morning. Only wish would be a bigger pool area, but still a nice area. Great workout too!

Had an overall great experience at this conveniently located hotel. Its new and modern and very accommodating. Be aware there is no room service, however the lobby bar/bistro is quite enjoyable. I wish I had asked about the room fridge, as it was tucked away in the corner within what appeared to be a clothing cabinet, so I did not use it and would have liked to. The front desk staff were very accommodating with any missing travel items I required (razors, and a car snow brush for the unexpected storm). The bar converts to a fully functional Starbucks in the morning for a good selection of hot breakfast meals. I did not take advantage of the amenities but the pool & hot tub had nice late hours, and the fitness facility looked great.

Attended conference there. They were short on lunch, room too warm. Employees seemed to be working VERY HARD!! They were also very attentive to beverages - coffee, iced tea and water! Job WELL done staff!

We were in the area for a family function. The front desk help was professional, courteous abd helpful. Upon arriving at our room we were very impressed; our room was spotless, the bathroom very roomy and had hooks for the bag I use for shower essentials (lacking in many hotels), there was a couch and ottoman. The room was quiet. We had an amazing nights sleep because the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately we left at 4:30 AM so we didn’t have breakfast. We would stay again.

Everything was wonderful! Great staff, clean and spacious rooms, and tasty food. Very bright and upbeat atmosphere! Easy to find location with various shopping experiences very close to hotel.

The Staff was super friendly and helpful. Amenities met my needs. Cleanliness and appearance of the property was great. Sound proofing of room was a little less quality wise than other properties I have stayed with. Interstate side room allowed traffic noise to be heard fairly easy as compared to other properties within close proximity of the interstate, some are even closer to the road but quieter.

Really bad experience. The air conditioning was not working. The room was about 80 F the whole night. Email the manager and she gave me a message saying they will take this seriously! They provided a standing fan but is not helpful. The glass were not cleaned properly, wen asked about it they said it is from dishwasher. I believe that is not a good explanation. They didnt even offer a new clean glass. Very disappointed with my stay. As their is not response from the magage I will try to reach the corporate compliant and see what happens

We truly enjoyed our stay at Courtyard St. Paul Woodbury. Very new and clean. It was very quiet, which we enjoyed. Away from the city, but easy to get to anywhere you could want to go within the city. Close to Stillwater and Afton Alps too which was nice. Parking was a breeze, which it is not if youre staying in the city. Also, just nice to get away from the hustle and bustle. I would highly recommend if youre looking for a nice quiet place to stay with accessibility to a lot of places. Also, theres a large outdoor shopping mall close with a lot of nice stores and grocery.

My daughter and I stayed for two nights while attending the Final Four in Minneapolis, arriving late on Friday after a long travel day. Check in was quick and easy which we appreciate since we arrived after midnight. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Parking was easy and convenient.

First our bathroom flooded, we were told we had a microwave in our suite which we didnt. We got a suite which was more like a big bedroom than a suite. Pool was more for kids than adults and was small. Never again will we stay at a courtyard. Totally not worth what we paid.

Only problem was $5.00 for a bottle of water in our room,, one of the cleanest Marriotts Ive stayed in,, 😉

My husband and I were visiting the area for a trail run nearby. The hotel is in an excellent location with shopping nearby. We went to Whole Foods several times. The hotel is clean with a modern decor- think George Jetson. I liked the breakfast concept. It was like a mini Starbucks with a menu of cooked offerings. I had delicious lemon blueberry ricotta cheese pancakes, and my husband had an acaia bowl. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it!

We enjoyed our stay. The only issue was that the AC didn’t work. It was resolved quickly. I wish it had been checked before we got to our room. Everyone was very courteous and polite.

We stayed for a night and wish we could have stayed for a week! This hotel was amazing! We attended an event that was going on at the hotel and everything was great. We then enjoyed the evening there. Great restaurant choices very close by as well!! We were really pleased with everything and hope to be back!

After checkout my daughter realized she left her dress hanging in the closet. We called immediately and the dress was gone with no trace! And hotel staff has not followed up as they said they would do!

Only downsides are that my room didnt have a bathtub, just a shower and the shower door was glass that only covered the length of the shower so water got all over the floor... Not cool. Also there was no microwave which seems silly but when you are in town for a week and want to save money, there is no way you can bring back leftovers and reheat them...Plus sides, the rooms was a good size and the beds were comfortable. Its a very clean hotel and the staff had been wonderful!Those two downsides are irritating but all in all I would recommend this place and be happy to stay here again.

Nice hotel! The staff is super helpful and friendly. They let us drop off a bag two weeks before our stay because wed be traveling and didnt have room for our luggage.

Very nice facility, easy access n location

We stayed for a week-end because of a wedding we were attending and we had a wonderful visit. We were given early check-in even though we asked at the last minute. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Even though they had another wedding party and a conference also staying the same week-end they were still very attentive when we requested something. Little hard to get to the parking lot but well worth the stay.

Pros: Lovely location, felt very safe! Staff was helpful and professional. Place was clean and well maintained! Rooms were a dream with huge windows and set up perfectly! Loved our experience!Cons: unfortunately the bed was mediocre(too firm)

I would recommend staying here for sure. The only issue I ran into was the availability of food in the late night hours. I had a late flight and had to buy food at a local gas station. If you have a late flight, just make sure you prepare for food prior to check in. The food in the restaurant was not the freshest but I am very picky about my.food. With that said, I will be retuning to this hotel on my next visit!

If you are in Woodbury, this is the place to stay. Great location...walking distance to restaurants and Whole Foods. Starbucks across the street.And there is an asphalt path for biking and walking adjacent to the hotel.Friendly staff. Would stay here again. Oh, and very large gym with 4 treadmills.

This place is clean and well kept. Bedrooms are super nice. We had a nice view from our room. Everything is up to date. Plenty of charging ports if you need them. Nice fridge, television, and the restroom was clean.

The hotel looks new; it is very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful! Unfortunately, one of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the hot tub and pool. My husband has had a number of back surgeries and having these ammenities adds greatly to the quality of his trip. The chlorine was so strong that in less than 5 minutes, my bathing suit was bleached to the point of being shredded and it triggered an asthma attack. My husband was in less than 10 minutes and took a shower immediately upon exiting. The skin on his thighs and groin was chemically burned to the extent that it blistered and peeled. Hindered him from enjoying the wedding we were there to attend.

The rooms were fresh and modern. Very clean. Mattresses and linens were amazing! The only negatives would be that the electric layout is a bit quirky and the bathroom fixtures splash water. But the rest of the room layout is thoughtful and convenient.

No greeting checking and no one there when checking out. House cleaning people seemed to be more concerned with our stay than front desk staff. breakfast opportunities are good if you like Starbucks. If you dont, you better go somewhere else for food. newer hotel is nice, good location. very near nearly one thousand stores, it seems.

As expected of a Marriott, the rooms were beautiful and spacious with updated furniture and decor. The service was pretty average as hotels go, and the breakfast was sub-par. However, overall the facility is gorgeous and clean (minus a funky-looking shower curtain that looked like it had a hard-to-remove stain in it) and I would highly recommend it.

Very nice and quite stay,only one issue, my grandson found what seem to be rust particles in the pool, took sample to the front desk, they said they would have maintenance look in to it

My wife and I stayed here because it was listed as a hotel within 35 miles of Treasure Island Resort and we couldnt get a room at T.I. We were in town for the Kid Rock concert at Treasure Island and were very pleased with our accommodations. The bed was by far the most comfortable bed weve slept in while at a hotel in more then a decade. The room was a bit higher priced than were used to paying, but it was definitely worth the extra $25 that we paid. I wouldnt hesitate to stay here or at any of their other properties again. Keep up the great work Courtyard by Marriott!

Need to check the pool chemicals. My son reacted to the levels of chlorine strongly. His face and eyes became very red / irritated and didn’t stop watering for 2 hrs after leaving. For reference, he does swim lessons at the local Y and never reacted like this. We all showered and still smell like chlorine. Please fix

We traveled to Woodbury for a soccer tournament. The staff were amazing, helpful and kind. They set up a free breakfast for the soccer teams to have before the games both mornings. The pool area was great for the kids between games and they have an outside courtyard that is great for parents to enjoy. It is a wonderful place to stay and I am looking forward to going back again.

Wouldve given it 5 stars but it was taken off because my room didnt have a microwave. Couldnt have breakfast this morning because there was nothing to warm it up with. Other than that awesome experience & affordable rate for a night.

This was a brand new hotel and the entire staff was awesome. The only problem I encountered was the air conditioner was not cold enough for me and when I decided to mention it to the front desk people, one of the House Cleaning staff was standing there and said she could fix it right away. You do not get better service then that. This location is also awesome as there is so much to do in the immediate area as far as dining and drinks. 30 minutes from MSP and about 10-15 to downtown St Paul. Uber cost about 30 dollars after a hockey game one night.

Did not take my original credit card when I arrived. Ruined my finances a little bit. Also booked a night stay at Marriott Minneapolis and had no issues with the original payment. Was this a simple glitch because the hotel may still be new? If so this needs to be fixed. Pool didnt work but I was allowed to use the other hotels pool across the street ! 👍

A/C wasnt working the moment we got there. The staff did not wan to help at all. Took over 5 hours to even get our room switched, let alone in the mean time trying to make the issue our fault. Once the room was switched we didnt even get refunded the difference of the room as we had a King suite moved to a normal queen room. Then in both rooms the bath rooms were gross, there were pubic hair all over and stains on the bed not to mention the corners of the room never looked like they were ever cleaned. Also what hotel doesnt have a free breakfast? I have stayed in hotels that are half the price and usually not looked at as nice or a good place to stay and have had an excellent experience.

We stayed as a group of families supporting our kids hockey team. Staff was great. Facility was clean. Room was spacious. We would stay there agin if needing a place within the area.

Spend a lot of time in downtown Minneapolis and this hotel is much cleaner, newer and nicer.

New is always nice. Marriott has always maintained an edge over other hotel chains by constantly upgrading their facilities and have an outstanding group of employees, well trained, and just overall better than their competition,which is why I prefer Marriotts group of hotels. Try to keep your prices realistic as I am now retired and watch what I spend for an overnight stay.

This was my 3rd time at this location. Staff always seems friendly. Checking in and out is a breeze. There is a nice lobby area with food and drinks available and TVs to watch. My room was neat and clean, everything worked properly. Prices were affordable. Easy on and off the highway. Can be confusing getting there for the first time with the parking lot layout and other surrounding businesses. Once you figure it out its really easy. I will definitely stay here again next time im in town. Overall: Great location, fair pricing and friendly staff...
