I am a fan of CorePower and this location in Woodbury is great. The staff is really friendly, the studio is super clean, and they have showers and lockers. Bring a lock for the lockers if you want things locked up. Get there 15min early because classes tend to fill up quick. I take C2 and Sculpt classes. Sculpt is more of a workout but its really great. Take the class with Vanessa on Wednesdays, she is an awesome teacher that motivates and energizes you through out the class. I recommend this studio and I know many others do as well.
I wish I could give this place 5 stars . I had a free well and went to the C1 class heated. I called before and girl did not mention it was heated so I still stayed and gave it shot. I have not did yoga in several years and explained it to the instructor. This was on a Wednesday afternoon around 330pm. The class size was about 6 people not bad. So the instructor went super fast, she talked so fast I could not really follow her. I got no guidance or anything and felt so uncomfortable. I will not be coming back to this location. I’ll stick to Grand Ave or Highland.
I like to go to this studio using ClassPass and every time I have had a great class! They have great instructors but the only thing I can’t always deal with is how hot they keep the rooms. I sometimes am sweating so much that I can’t even hold a pose. I have legit slid out of a pose from sweating before. They are very accommodating though. I was offered an extra towel when I was struggling and it made a difference. Very happy with this place!
This studio is AWESOME! I have been a member here for awhile and recently did my teacher training and extensions program here. Professional, kind, and helpful staff. The studio is always so clean as well! Highly recommend visiting this studio.
CorePower Yoga Woodbury has amazing 😉 instructors who are well trained to give you the optimum work out for your entire body, physically and mentally. Where muscle meets the mat in Yoga Sculpt and balance, strength and mindfulness in all other Yoga practice classes. I live Yoga every day!!
I have very limited experience with yoga. I have been to Core power several times with my wife and find it to be a great experience. The staff is very welcoming and the workout is amazing. Highly recommend!
I am a very active person...hike, bike, running, kayaking and have tried many different exercises classes but out of all them C2 yoga is by far my favorite activity! Since I have started my strength, flexibility, conditioning and endurance has increased by leaps and bounds. And I can see the physical results in my body as well. I stand taller and carry my body in an upright position rather than slumped forward. The instructors at Woodbury are all fantastic too. Each has there own routine, which I love because I try to go often and the different variety keeps things fresh. Form is also very important to me as I dont want to injure or overwork my muscles but these instructors know their stuff! I have learned how to listen to my body. Stop when I need to and stretch a little farther when I can. Learning the moves wasnt always easy in the beginning but I am so glad I stuck to it. My body was so stiff at first but now I can move with ease. I am 55 but feel like I am back in my 20 year old body again! I think the thing that surprised me the most about yoga is the mental aspect of it. I was always that person who had a hard time being in the moment. Taking an hour class yoga where concentrating on breathing and the positions is the only thing to think about has somehow has taught me to slow down and be calm in my every day life. CorePower definitely has changed my life for the better. Yoga truly is my happy place.
I have never taken a yoga class before but on a recommendation from my wife and my chiropractor I decided to try it. I did the free week at Core Power about a month ago and have been hooked ever since. I have taken about 15 classes their and have had nothing but great experiences.I was a little nervous at first but the instructors are super helpful to new students. They make you feel very welcome and give tips and instructions without any judgments. Their sign up front says Good Vibes Only and thats truly how it is there. Everyone is friendly and they make you feel at home.
Ok location. But the yoga sculpt instructor had the music way too loud and I couldnt hear anything she was saying. Being my first yoga sculpt class ever, I was hoping there would have been a little more guidance and welcoming from the instructor. Also, the members in the locker room were saying right in front of me that they dont like new people. But what more could you expect from the suburbs.
The staff/instructors here are top notch. I came here 6 months ago as a newbie at Yoga and I feel like I gracefully learned postures/movement because of the calm, detailed instruction I was given. I always leave the class feeling refreshed and re-energized. The atmosphere is awesome with controlled temperature/lighting/music/essential oils, even candles.
Core Power is the best place to go for yoga! I love all the instructors, but Katie F is the best
I love this studio, and have since I took my first class a couple years ago. It bums me out to see that a few people had bad first experiences as new students. There are certain instructors with whom I definitely feel a rapport, and others I dont. It does take time, and repeat visits, to figure out which classes and instructors work for you. When it comes to being a new student, its so super important to attend the appropriate level class to learn not just proper alignment but CorePower-style vinyasa cues and flows. C1 or Hot are perfect, because the instructor walks through every pose. Sculpt, C2 or Fusion are probably not appropriate for your first yoga class, they move pretty fast and the class style doesnt lend itself to the same level of refinement).
Have been coming here for a few years now. Learned the basics and am constantly challenged, yet supported, by instructors. Havent gone as much lately as prices can be a bit steep. But only have good things to say about the experiences Ive had here!
Great studio with trained instructors. They have spacious rooms, good heat and humidity, drink fountains, and clean change rooms with showers and lockers. Ive been practicing hot yoga on and off for about 8 years, primarily with Moksha, and Im very happy with the Core power facilities. The one negative is that they dont have a matt drying area.
Amazing studio for all kinds of yoga.Like the effort Instructors put to change the routine for each session.
Great place and wonderful staff! Romy is super helpful :) Thanks!
Love their yoga sculpt
I recommend the Woodbury studio to everyone! Love my corepower family!
I love and miss my CorePower Yoga - Woodbury family!! You are guaranteed an amazing class that has grade-A instruction and a great workout for both your mind and body. My life changed in the most positive way the day I decided to try the free week at CPY in Woodbury (and then became a black tag member....and then completed my teacher training...). I do have to say the MN region is above and beyond in quality, in my opinion. I have visited a couple other geographical locations during my travels after I moved away and continue to be impressed with the teachers and quality of classes that come out of the MN region. Hats off to you, my friends! I miss my CPY family so much! Come to WI SOON!
Very nice yoga studios and locker rooms.
Staff was not friendly or helpful as a new student to yoga. Will not be going back.
