Very disappointed!! Poor customer service and administration. My mother passed away a month ago and I still do not have the death certificate. My mother was buried in another state but lived in Minnesota, so Wulff handled the arrangements on this end. However, without consulting me, they sent the death certificates to the funeral home in the state where she was buried instead of to me in Woodbury. They acknowledged their mistake and told me they would have new death certificates for me to pick up in Woodbury. I have tried to contact someone in the Woodbury facility, but thats almost impossible to do since they use an answering service that is not located in Woodbury. I was told the certificates would be in the Woodbury facility and that someone would contact me so that I could pick them up. However no one has contacted me and, while Ive left multiple messages, no one has called me back. The excuse that the people answering the phone used is that they are having phone issues and that they had the wrong number for me. I dont understand why since Ive left my number with them. I guess Im just really surprised by how convoluted this process has been, especially since the funeral home that I dealt with back east was so easy to contact. They have a phone in the facility where someone who can answer your questions directly answers the phone. I have no idea how Wulff actually handles an entire funeral. The may do an excellent job, but Im not sure I would use them again given how difficult the small task of getting the death certificate has become.

During an inherently challenging time, Wulff (with specific credit to funeral director Susan M.) provided the best celebration of life that was reasonably possible for our circumstances given COVID restrictions. The service was detailed which felt appropriate to best honor our loved one, and they handled nuances of coordination (e.g., working with newspaper on obituary, setting up memorial website, scheduling burial) which was a nice relief when personal energy and focus was needed to grieve.

Working with James Archer and all of the other Wulff staff was a very good experience. Excellent recommendations with no pressure was most helpful. They recognized Dads Army service with army emblems on the sides of the coach as an extra personal touch.Extra effort was made by staff to involve the children with celebration activities.Our entire family was impressed with the quality service provided and attention to attendees needs.Highly recommend Wulff Funeral Home

We worked with Susan and we were extremely happy with her. She was Very professional and compassionate in helping us plan our father’s funeral. All of the staff we met were very nice to work with.There were a few mistakes behind the scenes that took up our time and was inconvenient for us.We spent a lot of time on the picture video and when they were uploaded to the website they were in a random order, and we were never given the code to edit them. DVDs were already made when we asked that they not be made until we could edit the order. We were still working on them the morning of the service and the video only played on one screen. The death certificate had to be amended because the name was wrong, as was our mothers last year, and the lunch menu was not correct.Overall, the service was beautiful and I feel like our father was honored well. I would not hesitate to recommend them. There was a lot of planning to be done in just a couple of days, so overall we are happy with the services they provided.

From the first moment entering until the final moments at the grave sight your staff was gracious, hospitable, consoling, clear in their direction, responsive to family members. Everyone seemed to know their role in the process and their team work reassured us we were in excellent hands. I wish to give Ashleigh Hampton special mention for her steady focus on details and her abilities to communicate with compassion and offer guidance over and above her professional responsibilities.

My mother’s obituary did not go into the Sunday paper as promised. The person we were working with should have realized there was a problem when the Pioneer Press did not confirm her submission, but she failed to follow up on it. They put one in the Tuesday paper but that was too late for some things. For example, several flower arrangements did not make it to the memorial service, which was on Wednesday and some people missed the live stream of the memorial service.

Our experience with Wulff at Woodbury was a bright spot in the dark time following my husband’s death. From the initial meeting through to the compassionate and continuing follow up, the staff at Wulff have been remarkable. I will highly recommend them to anyone I know who might need their services. I made pre-arrangements for my mother and mother-in-law. Frankly the whole idea creeped me out a little bit but your staff was great. I was able to do what I wanted without questioning and when I had questions they were answered quickly with proper explanation. Amanda was very timely and showed a genuine caring for the client. I have had a lot of experience with Wulff (unfortunately) and have always found it to be of the highest quality with caring service especially when I needed it most in the most difficult of circumstances.

When my husband was placed in hospice care, at his nursing home, I decided to take the advice of friends and the Wulff website, and pre-arranged my husbands funeral. From the moment we walked through the door, and were greeted like friends and family, we were put at ease, and saw how precise and ultra-professional this operation is. As every detail was addressed, and every question answered, we were convinced that we had come to the right place, and that everything would go well and it did.Heather Moody and Amy Parker both took us step by step through the process of constructing a beautiful, respectful funeral, within our budget and they never waivered from giving us their best effort. Every person, in every area of service to the funeral for my husband, gave 100%. I thank and appreciate every one of them. We received many comments about what a nice funeral this was. Wulff has coordinated two funerals for our family in the past six years and we have been very pleased with the personal, yet professional, service theyve provided us. They are very detail-oriented at a time when emotions and grief might make it difficult for family members to try to remember all that needs to be taken care of at a difficult time.

Terrible place and management. My dad passed away nearly 6 wks ago. Since then we have been awaiting for this place to give us needed documents. We called twice a week just to hear that Susan and Gordy are never in office and that the receptionist never has their schedule. Funny, when booking this place for service they sure had their schedules, or when we needed to come and pay for the package. On top of it, we were waiting on death certificates which the funeral home sat on for nearly 2 wks now. When we called (my mom and I) they straight up lied l by saying they arent in. Mail inventory was registered to arrive on the 19th. Lastly, they mailed a copy out without comcent to a person who was not given permission to have legal documents. This is called fraud. They facilitated fraud of legal state documents. We are consulting attorneys and filing. Still not a single phone call back. They will have it coming!. Stay away and go with another place.
