Darren did fabulous work on our barnwood install and did an amazing job repairing drywall cracks on our main level from our builder. Very detail oriented and personable! Loved working with him! Jeff and his team were so awesome to work with...they helped us stay on budget with creative ideas! (Ask him how he helped improve the heat in our basement—brilliant!) We had several companies give us bids for our basement and after meeting with Jeff we knew he was our guy! They were professional, respectful and stayed on the timeline we expected. Russell Room Remodelers totally remodeled the entire basement in my son’s home for me to live. It is 1300 sq. ft. Walls were knocked down and it was totally transformed. I had the great pleasure of working with Jeff Russell on a project that began as dry rot remediation and siding replacement due to faulty construction by the original builder. I ended up with epic scope creep that lead to a complete remodeling of the lower level (home theatre, billiard room), the kitchen, and a beautiful garage/shop addition. I did this in large part because Jeff and his team were just a blast to work with, came up with outstanding ideas and solutions and provided excellent value. If you are a potential client, know that the day-to-day attention to detail and work quality will be dependent on the manager assigned to your project. I had an outstanding experience with my kitchen remodel due to the excellent, smart manager. The more recent two-bathroom remodel was assigned to a different manager. There were several avoidable mistakes and much more stress because I had to follow up to correct mistakes that regularly occurred along the way. The experience with this manager reduced my recommendation to 3 of 5.

We used Russell Room Remodelers for a complex and persistent problem with cracking of the kitchen floor tiles which was caused by slight movement of the floor due to an inadequately supported kitchen overhang. They developed a solution which involved adding several, specially made metal joists which were installed adjacent to the existing joists. To assure a level floor, they also arranged for a contractor to raise the overhang before adding the joists. This resolved the problem. We also had them manage installing a new granite kitchen countertop, tile backsplash and some kitchen cabinet work. They worked with us closely throughout the entire process and we were so pleased with their level of professionalism, responsiveness and quality of work. We highly recommend Russell Room Remodelers.
