Justin was good in service. But they couldnt fix my issues or had a resolution. Then when I went to trade it, they tried to give me $7500 below KBB trade value. Left bad taste in my mouth. Dodge sold me a vehicle knowing it has defective U connect radio. Another dealership sold it to me.Dodge Chrysler list my business. Back to Chevrolet

Stopped in for an appointment after advertise deal regarding replacing existing lease with a new vehicle. I was skeptical at first, but after walking in and talking with Mo, Eric, and Bobby, I knew it wasn’t a scam. Never thought I would be able to get out of my existing lease (which I hated and was railroaded by a previous dealership), but Mo, Eric, and Bobby did it and put me in a new Ram, that I fell in love with when I first saw it. The way they talked to me didn’t feel pressured and they listened to everything I said, which was a pleasant surprise. I’ve seen some people say about scams, but I can 100% tell you this place is the most honest dealership I have ever been to. This was the first and only enjoyable vehicle process I have ever had. Extremely unprofessional, set up an appointment for a truck listed at $47,000 drove an hour to be told the truck is falsely listed and it is actually $61,000. Not only are they extremely unprofessional, be prepared to walk into their dealership to cheap tables and chairs set up all around with their bags underneath. This place is a joke, we were not the only ones there having problems either.
The place is beautiful, clean and the for-you attitude is the energy vibrating in the air. Alex, Troy and staff made the entire experience worth the candle. Made an appointment for a specific truck to only get there and find out it was $12,000+ more then online states. The Vehicle is listed online, all upgrades in pictures at $47,000. It is also listed as $47,000 TWICE on the actual truck, the only indication of price change is a small hand written paper on the front windshield saying $61,000. The employees are rude and shouldnt be working in this business, not to mentionthe dealership itself is a mess. Their desks (bar tables and stools), look like they got them from a dumpster somewhere. Do not go to this dealership, its a waste of time. Look at all the 1 star reviews in the past few days

Thought I was talking with a salesman but apparently not. After about a half hour I found a truck that would work. I wanted a new Ram but this certified preowned. When I asked for a price for the truck and a trade in number for my Laramire he told me he wasnt allowed to give prices. Asked several time how much I wanted to put down but I still did not get a price nor a price for my trade. I wont be going back. This would have been our third truck from Preformance Dodge. I had a similar experience with my last truck and bought it elsewhere.

BAIT & SWITCH! Set up an appt with Stacey for a truck listed for $47K on their website. They listed a price drop for the same truck on 8/12/21. Showed up on 8/20/21 and they said the new price is $61K?!. Got up and walked out. There is no shortage of Dodge dealerships in So Jersey, use another.

I brought my car at the beginning of April for a recall and also because my rear camera stopped working. I was told I need a new camera so it was ordered. I bring it back and the new camera didn’t make a difference so they said we will replace the radio. They replace the radio and I pick it up because I am told it’s fixed and I see the same black screen when going in reverse but no mechanics were still there so I call the next day and they say they will have Chryster look at it to do testing. Three weeks later and many phone calls asking if they figured it out, I am told they have. At that point I have been paying for rental but I have to pay for the wiring that needs to be replaced—now mind you I paid for the radio I didn’t need and didn’t fix the problem. Finally I pick up my car and I want to say at least it’s all over with. I get home and realize my hood isn’t all the way closes so I go to close it to find my paint is scuffed in some spots. Dots of chipped paint on the hood and a DENT in my hood where it closes. Perfect size for a palm who tried to push it down and failed to close it even still. Now I have damage to my car. Worst place to bring your car. I will never go back to that dodge ever again and will make sure everyone knows how awful the service department is. I cannot believe I now have to bring it somewhere to be detailed because of careless mechanics! Totally ridiculous.

Everyone was kind and courteous in between all the way down to the lot attendant that offered to pull up my truck once I went there to pick it up. First experience with this dealership and would recommend to family/friends without a doubt!!

Liars, liars, liars. Called my finance company to get the payoff on my Leased 2017 Ram 1500. They said I could go to any dealership and the payoff had to be the same. I bought my truck at Performance Dodge so I went back there, they had a payoff $2600 higher than my finance company. I had a signed contract saying otherwise. They said that was their payoff. I Stormed out of there and went to Reedman Toll which is closer to my house and saved $2600. Will never go to performance dodge again, which is where I bought my truck originally. I really dont know what they were trying to pull. NO DEALER CAN ALTER THE PAYOFF OF YOUR LEASE IF YOUR BUYING YOUR VEHICLE AFTER THE LEASE PERIOD IS OVER. You have a signed agreement on what the payoff is. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAM ARTISTS.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCEI went to the dealership to buy a pre owned car. When we sat down to go over pricing the dealer added over $3000 in dealer fees. Needless to say I did not move forward with the purchase. Unfortunately the fast talking manager convinced me to put a deposit on a new vehicle that was inbound. After a few weeks of waiting for the car and several phone calls to the dealership I finally asked for a refund. At this point I was informed the the General Manager (Eric) was the only person who could sign off on such a thing. After more waiting I was able to get in contact with Eric who assured me that he would take care of it. This of course still has not been done and I am with out my money. Awful customer service and shady business practices make this dealer one to avoid like the virus. If I could I would rate this dealer ZERO STARS!!TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
Horrible experience. Undervalued my car trade in by over a thousand dollars. Other places offered more than them. Sales people were incredibly pushy. Yet they wouldn’t tell me how much a used truck they wanted to sell me was priced at even after I asked them directly. Yet somehow, they knew how much the monthly payments would be? Wouldn’t let me look at trucks myself, instead would just pick one out that they hoped I liked. Constantly were trying to get me to sign a non legal blank piece of paper saying I’d take a deal even though I had no knowledge of the price or conditions of a lease for a new truck they showed me. Won’t be back. My business will be taken elsewhere.
Me and my wife went to a purchase a certified Jeep and made an appt. my wife called twice to confirm the car was there since we were driving an hour to come purchase it. Came to the appt and the car was off the lot on a “demo” with one of the workers. They asked us to sign the paperwork and the trade in before we even saw the car. We told them we would like to see the car and test drive it and kept being told the car would be here shortly. We kept asking when the car would be there to see and they kept getting defensive. After about 45 minutes we decided to leave.We dealt with Randy who was cocky and very dismissive and unhelpful. I have been in sales for a long time with real estate and my own business and never have been treated this way. They wouldn’t give my wife back her keys( for the trade in) and then 4 of the employees surrounded us almost to not let us leave.Would leave 0 stars if I could and would advise to stay away from this place. The car was 3k over what was shown but I still was going to buy it. We went in with every intention to buy the Jeep as it had all the specs my wife wanted and they literally did everything they could to lose the sale. Never seen anything like it. Me and my wife are still confused by the whole situation.
My husband and I had leased a 2017 Ram that we were very happy with, but we wanted more room and leased a 2020 Big Horn which we absolutely love!There were some issues with our lease turn in, everything was scrambled with the paperwork because of Covid19 (communication between dealer and finance company was amiss)!Alex who is a Manager at Performance was a great help and didn’t stop contacting people until he found a way to solve the problem! We cannot thank him enough and without hesitation because of Alex we will continue to be a Performance Dodge customer for future purchases!
I was going thru the toughest time of my life- A worker whos not working there nomore hustled me into a finance when My plan was to pay a car off, I didnt even get to pick out my vehicle which is ok? Found a dent bulbs went quick ect ect. ect. I got suckerd
I came to performance dodge because I saw an ad on Facebook that said that they would pay off my entire trade and existing loan if I purchased a vehicle with them. I ended up buying a 2017 GMC Sierra 1500. When we were talking with the sales people they told us that the entire $18,000 loan that I owed would be paid off and then I wouldn’t owe anything to Volkswagen. My boyfriend and I put a $10,000 down payment on to the truck, which the dealer than took that $10,000 down payment and used it towards negative equity on my trade-in vehicle without telling us, ($7,000) making us believe that our down payment was going towards our truck. They never once told us that we had to pay any negative equity nor did they tell us our $10,000 wouldn’t be going towards our truck loan. I noticed that on my Credit line for my trade in, that my trade-in car was never paid off it’s now been a month and Volkswagen says that they never received an $18,000 check from performance dodge, which is acquiring late fees and possible credit issues on my end. I drove all the way to New Jersey today to try and figure out the situation and they lied to me and told me that they did give my loan lender for my Volkswagen a check when really they never did. Now not only did I put down $7000 towards my trade-in for this car but I still owe $18,000 on Volkswagens end. The sales representative also lied to the credit bureau about my employment and how much I make a month. The Volkswagen was in my name but they had my boyfriend sign over the title instead of me, and refused to give me the paperwork. They also walked out with multiple pieces of paperwork when I asked for all of the paperwork that wasn’t signed and they didn’t know why. This company is telling me that there’s nothing I can do about it because I signed a contract but they are not keeping up their end of the contract either. This company is a scam they lie to you, change prices, and give you the run around.
Me and my girlfriend were truck shopping for her and they completely disrespected her Randy the salesman didnt ask who was buying only talked to me and reached over her to hand me his card my in laws recently had the same problem at this dealer very disrespectful and very disappointing

From my first step on the property being greeted by Alex and immediately being helped Brian my salesman was amazing with explaining everything and answering any questions I had. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone!
Contacted dealership about truck and was told in writing it was available to purchase at MSRP. Once I agreed, they told me there is an additional dealer markup of $15,000!

Im in the market for a truck and have been shopping around every dealership Ive been to had no problem with letting me test drive or running numbers to see what could work. After a little back and forth the salesman said that they wouldnt be able to go over numbers unless I was going to put money down. Every other dealership had no problem with it. He then stated that it would be unfair for them to run numbers and then me go home and think about my decision and/or go to another dealership to run numbers.I wound upcup leaving and the the the salesman came out to my car before I pulled off, kind of to reassure me that if I find a price that I like for the truck Im looking for, to come back and they would match or beat it. Pretty much letting somebody else do their work for them. I was a little thrown off by this whole experience. Overall it seemed that they were under their quota and tried to pressure an impulse buy.Also at the time when I went in, which was 8/1/2020, the salesman told me that that say was a buying day because the rebates were running out. But if you checked the website their rebates dont expire until 8/3/2020. I wont be back, especially when the most basic things are lied about. Lazy customer service....very inviting and nice, but lazy in the way business is conducted.

I went in to look at a truck, was told to fill out a form to get my interest rate. They ran a hard credit inquiry without my permission. I never signed the form to allow this. The arrogant sales manager even said Im here to sell trucks. My time is valuable.... You mean I did all this and you still want to shop around? Very unprofessional and juvenile reaction from someone who just damaged my credit without permission. Just beware, they are very shady here.
I bought a used car from this dealership. Truth be told we had our differences during the process; however, their salesman was what made the difference in order to close our deal. John Schwartz is a gentlemen and clearly cares about his customer. He was understanding with each of my needs and saw them through to the best of his ability.Finding a dealership is hard, finding a decent salesmen who doesn’t just want another sale is even harder. I would not only recommend John to a friend looking to buy a vehicle, I would buy another vehicle from him myself. He cares about his customer and knows how much of a commitment a new vehicle is to a family.If this rating were to be going to John, I would give it five (5) stars. The dealership did a fine job, just had a few personal little things I would have changed. Nothing worth ranting about here. I would have to say that unless you find a a really good deal steer away from this place, make sure you bring someone very knowledgeable about cars even if you are buying a certified vehicle like in my case, my (almost new) so called certified vehicle came with only one key, broken mirror turn signal, a headlight was full of moisture next day, broken, door stops and a rattling side door due to adhesive failure, I spoke to John My salesman about and told me he would get me the missing key and would have someone call me about the headlight, I’m still waiting for such phone call.Do yourself a favor stay away from this place.

Was interested in a used car that has been on the lot since early september (it is now mid-november). When I called, i was asked what i was looking to spend, i told them, obviously, as with most car buyers, the least as possible, but the vehicle i was interested in was online for just under $18,000. The gentleman i spoke to on the phone insisted he had it listed for 20,000. After discussing further about the vehicle, i agreed to come in and take a test drive. In the time between, I viewed the carfax and noted 3 vehicle damage claims all within a 3 month period, all front and both sides. I let it go, being a techncian at a dealership myself, i know the key things to look for.I showed up, and the vehicle had to be jumped in the car-port. After looking over the car and noticing the crack in the rear bumper and mismatched paint tones in the white where bodywork was done, i got in the car to test drive it. All the dash lights lit up like a christmas tree, every warning indicator possible. i continued to drive it, keeping this in the back of my mind, and i couldnt really drive the vehicle to really get a feel for it. The salesman guided me down to a jug-handle less than a mile away, then back to the dealer. upon the return trip, i started hearing a rumbling sound which sounded like it could either be a worn wheel bearing from the front (which could mean worse given it being in 3 front-end accidents) or bad tires (from the vehicle sitting). I pulled into the car-port, and went to turn the vehicle off, and the vehicle kept putting itself into accessory mode by itself with the key out of the vehicle. I also felt the trunk liner and it felt moist as if moisture is getting into the trunk. The salesman insisted it was just from the car wash, but moisture should NOT get into the trunk of a vehicle.The salesman sat me down, and asked me what i intended on paying for it, given the online price was just under 18,000, i had stated that price plus tax and tags (which i know theres no helping tax and tags price). After a little back and forth from his manager, the salesman informed me they own the vehicle for jus under 20,000, and they were concerned about taking a loss in selling it below what they own the vehicle for, but theyd be willing to let it go for +$1 above what they own the car for. Plus there was a reconditioning fee of over a grand i was to pay as well.The salesman was nice and helpful, nothing against him., But the vehicle pricing structure is horrible. Why have a vehicle listed for one lower price, then go back and forth saying the price is higher? Why should i as a buyer be responsible for an additional reconditioning fee when that should be built into the price already? The vehicle has been sitting on their lot for almost 3 months now (which means its just occupying dead space), with 3 accidents, still has bodily imperfections, a rumbling sound which indicates the shop did not thoroughly inspect the car, and it had to be jumped with a NEW battery in it and every light on the dash. Picture perfect cars like this go for about 20,000 or more if certified. A vehicle in this condtion is not picture perfect and is worth far less than 20,000. The next day i was contacted from the dealership, and gave them a list of the issues i found in the car, and offered them my set price i would pay for the car, just to get the car off their lot, and i can have this car. I havent heard anthing back, and dont think i will as they seem to think this car is worth gold. Nobody in their right mind would buy this car in its current condition, when there are perfect cars like this being certified for what they want for the car. Thankfully, I am a career mechanic at a dealership where i see cars like this all the time, and didnt easily fall into their its a used car attitude for a car being 2 years old.Heads up to future buyers of used cars here, bring a mechanically inclined person with you to check a car out with you. This isnt the only horror story out there of things like this happening with used cars at their dealership.
Terrible experience. They stated they would run a soft inquiry on my credit, when they actually submitted a hard inquiry. They tried to brush it off stating it would fall off my credit score when I questioned it because my credit monitoring went off right at the table, they continued to lie to my face about the hard inquiry.They had an online promotion stating they would take on the negative equity on current vehicle loans. They did not even consider it, stating it would go on to my next loan. And they low balled me in for my trade in.They didn’t even take me to see the car I was interested through out my visit. The saleswoman kept being persisting about a down payment. Yet they had a $1 down payment special. The statement was “oh we sold a few of these yesterdays, that may or may not be available.” A whole bunch of run around for a measly Dodge Durango they apparently didn’t have in stock.

Former Employee here and also a student!! I started working there and I was so eager to join the company. Unfortunately two days after I started working, I got sick from there so I had to call out of work the very next day to feel better WHICH the manager (Mike B) told me it was fine!!! They (Mike and Eric) end up firing me because of it but told me it’s not me. You guys want me to come to work really sick around customers and workers? No my health comes FIRST before your staffing!! You would think a company would be there for their employees like they would say on their website or during the job interview process. I was totally wrong. It was a waste of my time. The co workers were so pleasant to work with. It’s just sad!!

I made the mistake of not buying from this dealer a few years back and very recently had an issue with a radio update and my radio fried and never came back. I went to another dealer who was unwilling to help me. I then went to performance and worked with Jorge who was great from day 1, got me in communicated well, worked with Chrysler and got me my replacement radio and hit it installed in under 3 hours. the service department is friendly and will work with you. I would highly recommend them and will be visiting their sales team when I purchase my next time, thanks again for fixing this for me.
Great experience. Was just there for an oil change and tire rotation. Quickly done. I did call to schedule the appointment which made it smooth. You can just bring it in but you might wait a little longer if they are busy at the time.
Went in. Showed videos of issues occurring, referenced Chrysler case for the exact symptoms, which is a Chrysler installation issue. Verified with a mechanic there is indeed an issue occurring, prior to bringing it to the dealership. There is an issue. They had two techs take it for a ride. Called me saying there was no issue, and that the extended warranty was not sold through them, and he didn’t want fight with the provider to get paid if he needed to take it apart. He said the video I showed him of the issue occurring, and the case regarding the extremely common installation issue for the model year vehicle I have meant “Absolutely nothing.” Couldn’t be more disappointed in the Manager at the dealership. May never purchase another Dodge. Will never again go to Performance Dodge.

My truck lost the brakes on the way to NY dropped it off that morning they got right on it got the parts ordered overnighted them. So I had to stay over a night they gave me a ride to the motel, came back the next morning picked me up and truck was fixed hour later got me on my way. Outstanding job done by George the service writer and by the mechanic who did the work. Very friendly professional crew there at that dealership. Wish there were more like that near by. I bought my Ram Big horn 2 weeks ago and absolutely love it! My sales rep Andy was great. He understood that I had a broker and he was my go to guy, so when I was in there it was to just test drive and appraisal my car. My only problem is that the truck was not full of fuel! 1st time I ever bought a new vehicle that didnt come full. Youre spending $40k on a truck, at least you can fill it up.

Pretty disappointed. Came in once to make an offer on car, salesman said he would call me the next day and I didn’t hear from him for 4 days. All he said was he couldn’t make a deal.Contacted him again a week later to test drive a truck and made him an offer, wanted to buy on the spot, but he couldn’t be bothered to talk to anyone about a final price. He said he would call me the next day, but only contacted to say my truck had already been sold.Fairly insulted.

The dealership would not honor the final price listed on their own website. It was not a conditional price that not everyone is qualified for, it was a final price. They added almost $2,500 to the listed final price with no explanation why. The salesperson Joe B. was trying to make sense of the price discrepancy and to make it work for us. He gets five stars from us for curtesy and professionalism, but the dealership management gets zero stars for their bait and switch techniques. We came in ready to buy, now we will go elsewhere.
Salesman and staff were awesome very friendly and seemed as honest as you could hope for, for an auto salesman. Was very happy with my experience at Performance Dodge. Only con was dont go in there thinking your going to get a truck for anywhere near the price they list on the internet. That is obviously just a ploy to get you in the door.. but it works.

My sales person was Mr. Joey C!!! AMAZING effort from him to put me in the vehicle I wanted. I thought he was going to end up being the typical car salesman... well he wasnt. Joel watched me drive in and let me approach him. I never had the feeling of any pressure. Joel listens and knows how to get you into the vehicle you want. He worked with the financing department to get my payments where they needed to be. I would suggest to anyone that when you are ready to own the Dodge that you want, to see for Joel. No pressure, up front and honest.

If you ever received a “Power Lotto” promotion from Performance Dodge at the 555 Mantua Avenue, Woodbury NJ 08096 location, saying that you are an INSTANT WINNER of $25,000 jackpot prize if your quick pick numbers matches the winning number, don’t get too excited because it is just a GIMMICK to get you to come to the dealership! What they DON’T DISCLOSE in the flier is that you are actually NOT AN INSTANT WINNER. They are only giving you a chance to win something. You have to go to the dealership and when you get there, you will get a chance to pick an envelope with the prize. Our flier appears as though we have won the jackpot prize of $25,000 but when I got to the dealership, that $25,000 became a $5 Walmart gift card (because that was what I ended up picking from the 5 envelopes which I’m pretty sure are all $5 GCs anyway) which is totally not worth my time and gas driving 30 minutes one way! Sorry but businesses like this that are dishonest and have no respect for people’s time doesn’t deserve my trust and my business and will definitely not refer to any of my friends!

I came in test drive a 2014 Dodge Journey and a 2011 Durango with challenging credit. I worked with the sales associate John Schwartz and he was very courteous and helpful. They sales manager was unable to get me financing for either but did get me financing for a 2018 Journey. If they gave me a car with my credit THEY CAN HELP ANYBODY!

A very good dealership. We bought a used Grand Caravan there yesterday. JOE was an excellent well informed sales person. No pressure . Been dealing with Performance Dodge for years and will continue to do so.
Not a fair dealer. Went for a service call. Was charged $125 for a diagnostic fee which I was told would be wrapped into the cost of the repair. They then diagnosed $3000 worth of work. I decided to only do $250 of the most critical work. They then said the diagnostic fee was for the problems that were identified and did not get fixed. So rather than rolling it into the 250 repair they added it to the top. Cost almost 400 with tax for the replacement of one waiting harness. NOT RECOMMENDED.
The first time I was introduced to Performance Dodge was in 2007 through my parents with purchasing a truck. From that very second I knew the family owned dealership cared about there customers. I recently purchased the truck from my dad and began my own personal relationship with everyone in service; Lou, who is the service manager, is with out a doubt the most personable, professional, well trained person around. Making sure your every need is taking care of. His pronounced leadership funnels down the ranks and shines from the minute your greeted by Dave or Mike. From this, my wife traded her 1 year old Durango (originally purchased at Cherry Hill) for a new 2017 R/T and we dealt with Phil who came highly recommended by Lou himself. Phil was a complete joy to work with; he took every single item we said we wanted and went above and beyond to make sure all was taken care of. Our experience through that entire process was a breeze. We were treated like royals from beginning to end. Entire process took nothing over 2 1/2 hours. Completely shocking to my wife and I because Cherry Hill took 8 hours. From this amazing experience our relationship only grew. Recently, the 2007 truck broke down. I immediately took the truck to Lou and had his amazing staff take a look. Bad news was given and with that Lou, knowing me not only as a customer but as a person, knew that I had enough of the truck. He immediately stopped what he was doing and took me over to sales and began to show me new models. Lou personally went to Phil and they teamed up with Mike as well as Frank to make sure I taken care of. The process was again seem less and impeccable to lead to the purchase of a 2017 Charger. All parties, including Joe in there financial department, treated me as if we had been friends for countless years. Upon delivery of the Charger, I was greeted with opportunity to meet Trent. I immediately shook his hand and began to tell him what an incredible knowledgeable well trained staff he has built and the pleasure it was to buy from Performance. His was extremely grateful and grabbed a rag and began to polish the interior of the Charger while the detail personal was busy. I would highly recommend Performance Dodge to all those looking for a new and or used vehicle. My family will only buy from Performance and hopefully you can benefit from the family atmosphere which my family enjoyed.
