The spa leaked from day one. It was repaired by the factory 3 different times and continues to this day. The leak has now caused corrosion on the motor. Their response:I see xxxxx has posted another negative review. Due to a lack of professional and reasonable behavior we will not be able to service your spa and must discontinue are business relationship.Your spa is out of warranty and out of our service area. You are free to contact the service provider of your choice.Regards,Scott MarlettoSince when is the truth unreasonable behavior? Buyer beware - go with a name brand.

We purchased a spa 5 years ago, from the factory. A local distributor set up in Sisters and he was very nice and helpful. Within a few months we had a major leaks. We contacted Woodburn and spoke to Scott. We told him that it needed to be repaired, but that we would be happy to haul the hot tub to Woodburn for the repairs. After the repairs we were going to set it up at our home in the Medford area. We contacted the dealership in Sisters for him to professionally load the hot tub on our trailer to be hauled to Woodburn for repairs. After the repairs were completed, even though it was under warranty, they tried to charge us, stating “warranties are voided after the hot tub had been moved”. We reminded Scott that we paid his dealer to professionally handle the tub. He finally agreed to not charge. We then paid Scott to haul the hot tub to our home after the repairs. A few months later the hot tub is leaking again in 2 places. We paid for a service call and the repairs we made. Now we have the same leaks again, plus more. We contacted a dealer who lives 90 miles away. He also sells smaller Westcoast spas. He said the leaks were from the prior repairs, along with a leaks in the new area on the opposite side. He stated that her wouldn’t even attempt to do the repairs, because he felt that there would be more. We again contacted Scott in Woodburn, he told me he would send someone to redo the original repairs for $300, plus parts estimate around 750. My concerns are that we are going to make repairs for a 3rd time. So I posted a review on yelp . He then called my husband and seemed more willing to work with us. We agreed to just purchase a new spa at a discount because of all the problems with this one. My husband agreed on a price, and ask to have the old spa hauled away, the new one had to be set up and properly working before they could leave. We would pay for the tub once it was delivered. Then we’re told, the spa has to be pre paid in full and, for any warranty work done farther than 50 miles from the factory you have to pay for a service call. Very disappointed, my husband has Parkinson’s and we purposely chose this tub because it worked best for him to get in and out, plus the daily physical benefits. My fear is future customer service or lack of. Be careful it you are purchasing and make sure you don’t live farther than 69 miles from Woodburn.

THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Even though I bought my beautiful BYE- BEE 2 person tub, at a hardware store, WEST COAST SPA took such GOOD CARE of me. Could not get anyone to set it up, One call to west coast, I cannot believe how easy it was! They took care of my problems, I live on the Southern Coast, Reedsport, they sent the BEST hot tub specialist from NEWPORT, OREGON. I just can believe they are great, happy, awesome Service from JANS SPA & TUBS NEWPORT. The closer hot tub store is in COOS BAY...COASTAL HOT TUBS... HWY 101, THEY COME TO REEDSPORT EVERY THURSDAY, but refused to help me but sold me $250.00 worth of chemicals which I CANNOT USE. Coos Bay COASTAL SPAS, THEY WILL RIP A OLD DISABLED WOMAN OFF. I JUST CANT SAY ENOUGH!WEST COAST SPAS : A++++++JANS HOT TUB SERVICE NEWPORT, OREGON A++++++, THANK YOU!
