Gatling Tree Service happened by our house today as they were in the area giving a quote. They let us know about the disease we have in our ash tree out front of which we had no idea! We talked about that but asked them about trimming some branches in the back and removing a large tree that had fallen across our yard. Less than an hour later we had a beautifully trimmed back yard, the tree was gone and all branches and stumps removed. Done and dusted! Four really nice, hard working guys. Outstanding. Trimmed one tree and took out another dead tree, cleaned it all up and stacked the wood for me and was in an hour. I would recommend them just for that, but the professionalism of the team sets them further apart. It was all done with a very favorable price.

I cannot say enough good things about this business. Came the same day I called for an estimate - which was so reasonable I said yes on the spot. They arrived first thing the next day and felled and cut up the tree quickly, efficiently and neatly. Simon even trimmed some dead branches off a neighboring tree gratis. He then pointed out a dead tree within house--hitting distance we‘d not noticed and offered another amazingly reasonable rate to take it down too. And did, just as professionally. Our neighbor highly recommended Gatling. We hired them to remove several dead limbs from a very old tree. They arrived promptly and did an excellent job. I was particularly impressed with the care they took to not damage the lawn since it had just rained. Clean up was also excellent - no limbs or debris left behind. One of our neighbors was having a tree taken down by him, so I asked if he could give me an estimate for mine (a big half dead silver maple in our front yard). He quoted me a very reasonable price to take down the tree, haul away the wood, and grind out the stump. I got the quote around 4 pm and he was at my house before 9 am next morning. He had everything done by about 2 pm and was extremely polite and professional and easy to work with. I would definitely hire him again.

Mr. Gatling drove by, and I did the unusual thing by hiring him on the spot. I’m so happy I did. He was knowledgeable about all the different trees. He explained what I needed and why. (I already knew that I needed significant tree work.). While his quote was reasonable, it was more than I wanted to spent today. This was one of better impulsive moves. This year, someone came to my door and told me my tree was splitting. I thanked him and said I would call my tree guy. I did not see any trees splitting. I called Mr. Gatling, who agreed that all of my trees are BIG and healthy. I had him trim the branches that might fall on the house and the childrens play areas. Great job by Mr. Gatling and crew. Something had dug a hole underneath the tree and nothing was supporting the tree because of the little creature digging the hole. I was up against a storm approving within hours. Mr. Gatling was there in no TIME, cutting the tree down. Very prompt and professional. Highly recommended. Removed the tree and come back the next week to remove the stump and planted a new tree. Prices were in line with other estimates we received and they worked quickly and efficiently trimming our overgrown Maple and Crepe Myrtle. They were careful not to damage the grass below the trees by gently lowering bigger, heavier branches with a rope. Even tho the yard was partially snow covered they cleaned up the tree debris nicely. I will have them back in the Spring to shape the Holly hedge. Job well done!

Fast and efficient service, They were able to remove a massive oak tree in my front lawn without damaging anything nearby including a power line. Professional and friendly service even left the area cleaner than it was before they started. For a finishing touch, they placed some mulch in my flower bed and left some chopped firewood for me! I would definitely recommend them and use them again.
