We had our mom’s 75th birthday lunch here on Monday, September 6, 2021. This event center is beautiful, clean, spacious, has a bar area, wine refrigerator, fabulous modern bathrooms, a changing area for VIP or brides. Don’t be fool by the outside being in the Giant Shopping center. This is a hidden gem. The staff is awesome and extremely professional. Plan your next event or functions at Gray’s Event Center you will be pleased.

I had my daughters Sweet 16th and the venue is elegant and spacious. This venue has a great setup from the bar, the kitchen and bathroom very clean and nice. From the moment I spoke with Doug, he was courteous and gave me first class service all throughout the event. I look forward to working with him in future events. They were professional from beginning to start and very pleasant to work with. The venue itself is beautifully set up so you don’t have to do much for decor. It’s big and spacious as well. My whole experience was great and I would surely recommend this place to anyone.

This venue was a superb choice to host a milestone birthday party with a 70s disco theme. The hall was spacious enough to fit 25 eight seater round tables in addition to a two six-footer rectangular head tables with four more rectangles for buffet and multiple other tables for sweets and dessert table. There is a large foyer upon entry if you want to either set up a sign-in table or photo booth and still room inside for a photo area. The restrooms are clean and sleek. There is an adequate storage area across from the kitchen area also. The owner(s) are very kind, accommodating and will go above & beyond to assist you in all areas to ensure the success of your event. The facility has strobe lights to help set your event as well. The whole venue is neutral and plenty of parking at the back door. A bonus is that a VA ABC store is a few doors down in the strip mall. If there was only one small thing to tweak for a dance event would be to have dimming capability on the chandeliers over the dance floor. Otherwise, this is an excellent venue for all type events.

Rented for a celebration. The owners were very nice and understanding. They venue is very beautiful! We were able to decorate and had full time to put everything together before the event. We are definitely going to use them again. Everyone in our community loved our event. They are so down to earth and feel so personable.

Grays Event’s is a fantastic place to hold an event. I didn’t even know they were there. The moment I sent them an e-mailed to inquire about their venue, their service was Top Notch! We used the venue to host my daughter’s baby shower. Our event was perfect! The venue had had a wedding the night before and I would not have guessed. When we arrived at 9:00 am the place was set up to our request and was clean and smelt great. I cannot express enough how impressed I was with the professional and efficient service I received. The staff really cares about your event and happiness. I look forward to working with them again for future events.

Gray’s Event Center ReviewWow! I don’t even know where to begin! Corona wedding Chronicles; the stress, and uncertainties, the delays. In all God was making things perfect, and Gray’s Event Center was one of those perfect things that happened. Of course with the Pandemic, my husband and I needed to move our wedding from April to August. Due to restrictions, we also had to cut our guest count down. With that said we needed a new Venue and low and behold we came across GRAY’s EVENT CENTER! How we came across it was even a gift from God! An older sister of mine who know Bro. Doug recommended it. She gave me their number and I called! I remember my first day talking to Bro. Doug! He was just soo amazing and absolutely delightful to talk to. He was very helpful and willing to work with us. He and his family maintained this level of outstanding customer service and professionalism throughout the duration of working with us until the very end of my husband and I’s events! We had both our Traditional Engagement and Wedding Reception there; and everything was just PERFECT! They ensured to it; it was their goal, and it was fulfilled pass expectation! The venue is very covid friendly especially in this season! They meet all the necessary protocols that will ensure the safety of you and your guest! TRUST ME, as GOD IS MY WITNESS, you will be making the greatest decision to host your event at this site. Not only is it beautiful, but the customer service is top notch! In the years to come, I pray that GRAY’s EVENT CENTER will become bigger and greater than what we see now. This ballroom is a hidden gem, and their customer service is impeccable.

My family and I had one of the best experience working with the staff at Grays Event Center. They were very accommodating, professional, and went above and beyond to make our event special. The event space itself has great lighting, very clean, spacious, especially with covid-19. We were able to safely space our guests. Without a doubt, I will continue to have my events here.

All I can say is WOW!! I not only highly recommend this venue but it is beyond beautiful! The bathrooms were really nice & The kitchen design was perfect for catering and I loved how it loops around behind a bar. For all the wine lovers and champagne drinkers they had a really nice bottle fridge to cool any nice bottles the night before an event. Also The owners of this location were so nice and beyond helpful to give my father the best 50th birthday surprise we could give him! This venue is overwhelmingly spacious and perfect for almost any event! I Absolutely recommend coming here to anyone who wants to make great memories. The service was 5 stars and I’m glad we chose to come here lol I’m with our a doubt booking here again for another big event with family in the future!

To begin I just want to say everything about this place is amazing! Specially the staff! We had to change our wedding location last minute and started looking for venues. We came across Gray’s Event Center and contacted them and got a quick response back! We went to look at the place and instantly loved it! They had a kitchen at our disposal, which was a big deal for us! Also had a stage, two big coolers, microphones, speakers, a projector and also plenty of tables and chairs! These are just a few of the amazing items that they offered and facilitated us! They were there on time to let us in and were already cleaning and sanitizing the place. They made sure we were taken care of. Customer satisfaction is definitely their priority! They most definitely trusted us to do the right thing and were not on top of us during the wedding! Such a wonderful staff, can’t stress it enough! They definitely helped make the event run much more smoother and took some stress off of our backs! They kept us safe and helped us follow the COVID guidelines by providing masks for our guests and providing a thermometer to check the guests temperature at the entrance! We also had plenty of parking in the back and front for our guests! They definitely get a 10/10! I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a venue for anything! Gray’s Event center will take care of you!

My family just celebrated my cousins 60th Birthday and it was everything!! The venue is beautiful (even the bathrooms!) The owners were professional and assisted us in getting our set up in order. I would recommend this facility for any event. Im hoping to talk my family into having our Family Reunion here!🥰

I attended an event here on February 22, 2020 and the facility is perfect!!!! You can hold a family reunion here, wedding reception, teen party, just about anything. It is beautiful and very accommodating.

I celebrated my 40th birthday and my mothers 60th here. Our guest were surprised by the place from the moment they walked in the door.The entrance can be confusing because the door is small and between a restaurant and another place. The door itself is nothing special and actually looks out of place.The inside is so elegant and clean. The fact that there is a seperate place to change and a foyer area before the main ballroom is a plus.It is a gem in Dale city for sure. The experience wiih the owners was smooth and without issues from beginning of signing the contract to leaving at the end of our party with a hand shake and a good night.I will definitely be using this place again for any of my large events.
