On 07/24/21 9am I sat on the balcony to. Have a cup of coffee when me glass door was closed,it locked. I had no way of gaining access back Into my apartment, or getting off the balcony. Thankfully Loraine was coming into work. I yelled over the balcony and told her I was locked out. She used the office key and let me in. Im grateful for the office being open on a Saturday, and for her timely help in the repairs on 07/29/21. Marianne and Loraine try to handle matters as quickly as possible.Kudos to both of them. I hope with the new maintenance crew things can get on track.
It’s pretty quiet! Marianne the property manager does a great job addressing any issue i may have had. Pre-Covid maintenance request were executed rather quickly, since it’s been a bit difficult to get things done. Nonetheless, you won’t be disappointed. You can only control what you do and pray that your neighbors are as caring and thoughtful as you are when it comes to the grounds (trash) and noise levels.
The contractors that the Manger sent to fix the dryer did a great and fast job fix it up the same day less than an hour.
We are new but have had a mostly good experience so far! Marianne is kind and was so accommodating w/ us and that was a big reason we were sold on moving here. It seems like management cares about the residents and the community. Our daughter loves the pool and the other kids in our building/next door have been welcoming to her which is nice. So far any maintenance request has been addressed right away. We are near the dumpster so the overflow of trash can be bothersome and our apartment had some minor issues before move in (like paint patches and splatters on the laminate/door handles). Yes the appliances are outdated but ours work great so it’s not a dealbreaker. The apt is way more spacious than we thought (esp the bedrooms and our 2nd bath) and our building neighbors are quiet/friendly which is great!! There have been some minor annoyances w others in different buildings but we feel safe and have had a good experience overall!
Amazing office staff. They go above and beyond .Quiet community clean. I love it here.
There is no maintenance on the weekend or grounds keeping staff. The building I live in is constantly dirty with liter and for it to be connected directly to the rental office, it should be the main building to be kept in a very decent condition.
In my 46 years of life have I never moved into a community that didnt look out for its residents. They have treated me with disrespect and make charges up as they go. My advice DO NOT MOVE HERE! I dont bother anyone and I pay to feel safe which I dont because there are felons among us here.
It takes a minute for repairs to be made and sometimes problems are not resolved at all.
When I first moved into these apartments, all was fine. The staff was friendly, and prompt with maintenance. However, over the past year and a half, things have gone ALL the way down hill. The staff turn over in the leasing office is extremely high. I have submitted maintenance requests multiple times due to the fact that they close the tickets without EVER touching the requested maintenance, after the previous maintenance worker told me that it was the apartment complexs fault for the reason of maintenance. Im happy to leave this place.
The location is great! Its close to shopping centers, wonderful restaurants and a few miles from Potomac Mills Outlets. Ive been there almost seven months and not once has there been a problem with parking. The management is outstanding and willing to help out when needed. The best thing that has been a plus is that you are able to go on line and pay your rent anytime of the day. Thanks for the welcome home Glen Ridge.CRG
Loss of business because they cannot answer the phone and/or return emails. Tried to call this place all yesterday DURING BUSINESS HOURS and I was directed to the voicemail, which I left. I was in a situation where I needed to find a place to rent urgently. This place seemed perfect for me, so I tried to get a hold of them all day (called 5 times throughout the day)....no return of my calls, no return of my voicemail, no return emails. Dont bother wasting your time. I called someplace close by that answered their calls the first time. I was approved that evening. Terrible service to potential renters...
When I moved here the management was great. It was sold to HERCULES from day one this management service was horrible. Starting from the leasing office they would never answer the phone nor return your calls. The office staff will be nice but ones you move in they are RUDE.
Great staff. Very patient with me and my scheduling. Love the down to earth communication as well as the friendly manor of the staff.
Application process is HORRID. Probably easier to apply for and get a job at NASA than an apartment in this community. Due to the “income restrictions” you will have to provide information I felt was very invasive. In hindsight, there are many communities in Woodbridge that are not income based, and have similar or lower rent. Less of a headache when you can apply online and have a decision the same day. After our lease signing (8/18/18) we were met with an apartment that was very obviously not cleaned. Having gone through a move in/move out in an apartment before, we knew there was no way the condition of this unit was acceptable. Our walk through was completed with the property manager and turned in on Tuesday (8/21/18). It took a week before anything was “fixed”, and two weeks before a cleaning crew showed up unannounced to clean.Although our lease was signed, we did not move in until 8/24/18 due to not being comfortable with staying in the filth of the apartment and needing a full day to attempt to clean it. I took it upon myself to clean EVERYTHING. This should have been done prior to us being given keys. I understand moving into a place and touching up a few things to make it yours, however I had to take faucets apart to clean out dirt and mold that was left there as if it were okay. There is no reason anyone paying their money should feel the need to have to completely disinfect a living space prior to moving their family in because the property failed to do so. The vinyl flooring felt disgusting under bare feet and contained several pink spots that looked liked nail polish spills. The carpet had debris left from God only knows what. The washer had what I assume is the last tenants dirt/hair. After moving in, we discovered the extremely loud dishwasher also had a steady leak. The bathroom sink whines when the water is turned off. The smell from the vents when the air kicks on is very musty and is probably due to mold/mildew. The apartment itself has an old smell that we have not been able to get out and it is driving me crazy. There was no caulking at all at the base of the bathtub, and the caulking around the shower faucet is nearly gone.Of our requests, the ONLY thing properly fixed was the leaking dishwasher. The faucets weren’t touched until I cleaned them, however mind you, these need to be replaced! I still feel gross using them. The flooring behind both toilets is coming up. The caulking they put at the base of the tub is a thin strip of who knows what that has come up twice now since they’ve “fixed” it.The straw that broke the camels back and made me write this review to keep others from making the same mistake as we have is last night, 9/13/18, I called the emergency number listed on the resident portal to report a lockout. my key had fallen out of my work bag and I didn’t realize until I got home. First, the number listed is NOT an emergency number. It is the regular office number. You must let the thing ring until you reach a voicemail message that gives an 866 number. I called and followed instructions to leave a message at 8:26 pm with name, phone number and address for the maintenance crew. This recorded message of theirs states TWICE something in reference to lockouts. I waited 30 minutes and did not hear anything back, so I called again and left the same message, this time I got a call within five minutes only to be told “oh we don’t do lockouts” I ask why it’s in the recording, and this idiot says “oh I don’t know.” We’ve let countless things go. Things that could be effecting our health just because we did not want to keep complaining, however when a simple customer service request can not be met, and an incompetent person cannot explain why, all bets are off. We pay $1350 for two bedrooms. There is NOTHING about this community that warrants the price. The only benefit is that it’s 10 minutes from my job. Dont be fooled by the unit you tour. The actual apartments are not well kept and the service you receive once you’re locked in is trash.
Terrible rental office and staff, Apartments are filled with mold, here is my actual apartment with BLACK Mold which turned out to give me Upper respiratory infections and hazardous for my son!! The office staff has a high turn over rate and in return does not handle business properly or turn in office documents. new staff has to figured out things that old staff did and paperwork is lost i moved out when my lease was up only to find out that paper work was not put in properly to me possibly being charged for occupancy for a place i was not living in ..DO NOT MOVE HERE
I love it here maintenance is on point the office staff is always there when I need them me and my family is comfortable no complaints
Shay and Marianne are the BEST ❤️
I’ve been calling the office for listenings on apartments they say are available yet they never answer, and it is Business hours?? Constantly goes to vm with no return call and I see I’m not the only one this has happened to. They’re already showing they’re unreliable.
Worst experience renting apartments. Lack of professionalism and knowledge of the job. Very poor management and drastically under staffed (2 people work in admin only).
Wife went there and qualified for everything, tells the manager that we have a american bully witch they have no knowledge of or even checked ukc or abkc for breed type knowledge, instead googled them and assumed they looked to aggressive and similar to pitbull so where not allowed. I guess labs and retrievers are the same and american bull dog and English bull dog are the same. Lack of knowledge and effort is both lazy and unprofessional
Worst office staff ever. They are never in the office and very rude.
Needs some updating
Love it
