I want to start off and say look at the apts in person because they look nothing like the pictures online. When I first moved in two months ago my dish washer wasn’t working, fridge light didn’t work, garbage disposal wasn’t working, and bugs everywhere. I filled out the move in inspection sheet and nothing was being done. Two weeks later I made several maintenance request to get this done. The walls are super thin you can hear everything. If you like bugs in your home this is the place to be. The gym is not open 24 hrs like they claim. The ladies that work in the office are rude and gives you attitude because they have to do their job. My rent amount was messed up and I called the office and she gave me an email to contact to fix it. The rent is not a monthly flat rate. There’s always hidden fees added to your rent like Pest, MWBD, etc. just don’t do it. I’m moving out today Thank God, gave them noticed last month and they’re making me pay for the whole month of October including utilities even though I’m turning in my keys today (1 Oct) Save yourself the time and look somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I stayed in unit 071030.

Although apartment living isnt ideal (thin walls; poor insulation) this community is kept clean and overall quiet for its size. The leasing agents and management have always been accommodating, friendly, and respectful in my interactions thus far. I am happy with my decision to move in here during the fall of 2020.

From scheduling my self guided tour to completing the application process, I can honestly say, Kiarra is professional, attentive to detail, and pleasantly assists applicants. It didn’t matter if I complete the application or not. She answered my calls and patiently assisted me via telephone. I am excited to join this community. I was impressed by the cleanliness and apartment maintaining. The location alone is enough to excite anyone.

Moved here last year into the new building, and right from the start there were issues. Maintainance is fast when they choose to be and half the time the issue comes back. The building is cracking and the stairs aren’t even finished. The leasing office is slow and frequently answered my questions with “I don’t know.” There’s roaches too! To top it off when I came back to pick up my stuff (obviously I was going to move out) some of my stuff was missing. The office is quick to collect payment, but when asked for assistance with other things it’s almost as if they forget what they’re doing. Cops are constantly present in the building and the neighbors find it okay to put in a complaint for me simply walking around my apartment. Nearly each week there was a new noise complaint for me even when I would just get home.

Very unprofessional. I had a virtual tour scheduled, and was informed someone would contact me before the date/time and discuss the best way it would be done. No one contacted me, instead I got a quote the same morning of the appointment for a unit I did not say I was interested in. I called a few minutes after my scheduled appointment to see what may have been going on, only to be told the unit type that I was interested in was no longer available. No apologies or even talk about the appointment I had. Very unappreciated, and may be telling of their overall interaction with residents.

In this review, I am going to mention the good and the bad of this apartment. For one, the apartment itself is very nice. The maintenance workers are also pleasant to work with, and usually quick about getting to your request.The community, however, is not as great. For one, there have been multiple occasions of broken glass bottles in the street and/or sidewalk that are not cleaned up for days. The trash is usually always over flowing and disgusting. There are also cops patrolling the neighborhood more often then makes me comfortable.As for management, dont be fooled. The property manager, may come off as nice and friendly, but when you need something done or need help, he does not come through. He may remember your name, and seem helpful, but he has absolutely no power. During such unusual times, and being a resident for 2 years (with UDR for longer), our residency meant nothing when we were in need of some help, understanding, and compassion.Although I wont say not to move here, there are things you must evaluate and decide what is important, before making the move to Dominion or UDR complexes in general.

I was looking for a new apartment closer to the school I will be teaching at and this was one of 3 locations I was considering. Its important to me that the community for my 2 boys be a community that promotes a family environment, promotes a clean and safe community for its families and respects the needs of the families. DMR became the one that stood out. My first encounters were with Mr.Tyler and Ms.Kiarra. Both were not only welcoming but built comfort in me wanting to raise my family here. As I base my review solely on our first impression. It was an impression that made me believe in the people behind the community. My family and I are looking forward to moving in this coming September and appreciate the staff and their commitment to my needs.

I must say at first we were disappointed with the apartment we got because there were some things not working properly, but I must say that Tyler and his team have been a great help in helping us find a solution and fix everything that needed fixing. I like the location of my apartment, area around building is clean, quiet and peaceful so far. The girls in office are very nice and professional, the maintenance guys have been kind and helpful to us.... Communication is definitely key... Thank you team.

Very quite area to live even though it is an apartment setting. The complex is always clean and grounds are always kept up. The management team here is great they are a big reason why I just signed another year lease. The surrounding area has everything you could ever want for any type of person and especially a family.

Dominion Middle Ridge is an awesome place to live for singles and families. The staff is great all around. I absolutely Love Mike the Maintenance Manager and the gals in the office are very friendly. They create a special atmosphere inside the office for each season. I would recommend visiting if you havent. The living experience is great!

I lived at DMR for 2 years would have loved to stay but I had a very noisy neighbor above me that walked heavy and made noises in the bedroom during sleep hours. Management Staff was awesome and so was the maintenance Guys! I would give 5 Stars if it wasn’t for the Elephant above me. The Manager offered me another spot but it has made me to NEVER rent an Apartment again!

Itll be almost 2 years since weve moved in. The staff have been very helpful in accommodating me and the children with any questions or concerns that we may have. We also feel safe here, property is clean and love the garbage pick up service thats available. I love the fact that the school bus picks the children up right in front of the building. Great family oriented community!

Great location! Near Lake Ridge Park which is a great for walking my dog and enjoying nature. I’ve noticed improvements to the community like the new grilling areas. The landscaping and overall curb appeal of the community has greatly improved and staff is very friendly and attentive to the residents. Highly recommend this community to anyone looking in the Lake Ridge area.

My husband and I have been here a little over a month and are quite happy here. I have found that all the staff here are very attentive and accommodating should you have a problem. They also try to hold fun events for the residents every month giving everyone an opportunity to meet and get to know their neighbors. We have dogs and they love it here too. However, being a responsible pet owner and making sure I take care of their business when we are out an about, I wish others would clean up after their pets in the dog park, so that mine could enjoy playing in there.

I am very particular and I give them a 10 and 5 stars. I would recommend Dominion Middle Ridge. I have a friend that lives here. I visit from out of state often. If I were to live in Va this is where Is be. Staff is great, Community is Clean and looks up to par.

Having lived at Dominion Middle Ridge for the past 5-years, I can say that I made a very good decision choosing to move here instead of some other development. The rent was fair and affordable, the grounds were very well kept up too, and are scenic. If there is a maintenance issue it is addressed immediately. The staff is wonderful, professional, and down-to-earth. They want to make your stay as stress free as possible. You really could not find a better apartment complex to live in.

Living here has been a great pleasure. The staff are very helpful, reasonable and friendly. The neighbors are very nice and look out for each other. The apartments are in GREAT condition and I hope to continue living here for a long time.

They have a contract with a towing company that will have your vehicle towed at the tow truck drivers discretion. no calls have to be made according to the leasing office if you have visitors and they park in a visitor space which there are plenty, your visitors car will be towed even if they left and came back regardless of amount of spaces in the parking lot or if theyre in a visitors space

Overall enjoyable experience living here. Management was friendly and responsive. The community was pretty clean and well taken care of. All the amenities you would hope to find in a decent apartment complex. Didnt have any major problems with my unit. Only complaint is that the way the heating and air conditioning is set up makes it hard to force air into the second bedroom, leading to it being too hot/cold.

Dominion Middle Ridge has exceptional Service form all of the Maintenance Techs. Michael Johnson the Service Manager, Eufracio Venegas the Service Tech, & Abdul Deen the ServiceTech. They service my request quick and do a great job. Tyler Weist the community manager goes over the top, above and beyond for all the residents. Lorsheia Sor the Senior Leasing consultant and Kiarra Robinson The Leasing consultant are phenomenal in their customer service and they plan the best parties here at this community. I love it and would recommend to anyone.

I have lived here for roughly a year now. So far my experience has been very pleasant. From the maintenance team to the front office staff and my beautiful view, from my balcony, I couldn’t be any happier.

The perfect Housing, if you enjoy Loud noisy obnoxious tenants that allow their children to run, jump, bounce balls, and adults tht stomp when they walk over your head. My tenancy at this location, have been a complete Nightmare. In addition to low lifes tht creep through the night and damage individuals vehicles. So if you want to live in HELL, this is definitely the place. Oh and never mind about calling non emergency and Management about any disturbances of your peace, you will be wasting your time

The lease office is handled by a good manager, Tyler & his worker Lorshia. A great place for a family to live in.

I have been is this property for 1 year, and Im very impressed with the property management. They always go out of there way to help me out, I am enjoying the clean breezeways also the breakfast on the go they recently did at the property.

First 2 months after we started our lease were okay and then it went downhill from there. In February, there was a shooting at the apartment across from ours due to a drug deal gone wrong. Nothing was mentioned about it by the management in hope for a solution for our safety. A month or 2 passes by and news about a woman from the area went missing. They found her body right up the street in a ditch next to the entrance of the lake ridge marina. Still nothing mentioned about it by the management. Now as of recently, the same situation has occurred to another woman, whose body was found next to our complex. Both of those women that went missing were working for a non profit organization helping troubled kids next to the apartment where the drug deal went wrong which is across from us...After all this, my neighbor said he wanted to break his lease due to feeling unsafe and Dominion Middle Ridge said hed have to pay a fee of 2 months rent... Unbelievable.This area has a sign in all entrances saying that its protected by neighborhood watch which is a load of bull. As a current resident who wont be staying here much longer, I would consider not moving in these apartment homes for the sake of your time, money, and most importantly, safety.PS. In regards to how the apartments are. They arent bad, however the walls are super thin and have a extremely high expectancy of growing mold. Management claims to provide monthly bug repellent all over the complexes, however, theres an immense amount of mosquitoes, flies, roaches, and other bugs Ive never even seen before roaming around the stairs and walls.

I am a current resident here the location is not bad if you need to travel to DC or Richmond its very convenient located off 95. The office staff is amazing the community manager is very nice. The apartments are nice and clean when you move in.my issue is with the maintenance crew and how they do not maintain the community grounds. You pay a pretty penny just for trash to be on the ground half-eaten food and lots and lots of pet waste. I understand that it is the pet owners responsibility to pick up after their animals but when there is literally dog poop every 3 to 5 ft no matter which side walk your on within the neighborhood that is a problem. The dog park itself is very bad and not worth taking your animals inside due to the mass amount of dog waste. Theres always trash or random half-eaten food along sidewalks I have seen maintenance not pick up trash and half-eaten food and continue to drive past in a golf cart. The dumpster area is always a wreck . Not sure if they need more on staff or if they just need more attentive people on staff but there are definitely things that they could do to help and they continue to drive on in their little golf cart. I recently locked myself out of the house and called emergency maintenance and waited an hour and a half before even getting a response it wasnt even a crazy hour of the night it was around 7 p.m.Again the apartments are nice my neighbors are nice the office staff is nice but maintenance is really lacking in overall cleanliness and attentiveness to the grounds that they are supposed to keep.....

I would give them a (-) if it were possible! We rented from them 5.5 years ago and the soot was so bad we couldnt stay in the apartment any longer. They showed us another apartment with 2 Chimneys high so we accepted the offer to move there because we could afford to clean 2 chimneys and not 4. They then notified us that they werent going to allow us to move there but we could have a third floor unit. I have asthma and would never be able to do the stairs all the time. We declined and we all agreed that they would let us out of our lease. We moved and were out by the date agreed upon and they went to court and got a judgement for over $3000. They were there all morning getting these judgements on quite a few people, we were the only ones that showed up at that time. They lied about everything. Now 5.5 years later, we are fighting them about it. If youre thinking of renting there. .. One word: Dont! Go anywhere else. Were now dealing with all new management. They say they cant find our lease. The debt has been sold to a collection agency. .. They have created so much stress for us. Not worth all of this!

I have lived here for a year. This is the second apartment complex I have lived in here in Woodbridge. The staff here is incredibly friendly. If you are looking for an apartment in Woodbridge, please put this site on your list of options.

This is a family friendly place to live with amazing staff that listen and are attentive to your needs. The price is reasonable for the Northern Virginia Area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The Dominion Middle Ridge apartment community is well maintained with excellent ammenities and a good location in Woodbridge VA. The grounds are groomed and clean and the parking is good. Kiarra Robinson, a staff member, showed care and concern as she walked us through the application process. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend Dominion Middle Ridge.

This place is terrible and Im so happy to no longer be a resident! The staff is completely incompetent, if you call the office be prepared to call again and again with no answer or response. There are constantly cops being called out to the various buildings for all types of disturbances, not to mention 2 murders being barely addressed with the residents of the community. The dog park is basically a fenced in collection of weeds and dog poop. And the so called amenities like the gym and car station are constantly out of service, as well as the pool being dirty and filled with leaves, bugs, and every loud child in the community. And of course last, but certainly not least, Upon moving out we paid the fee to have the apartment cleaned and the carpets cleaned by them, to be sure it was done to their standards and that nothing was left undone. They then proceed to charge us 145 dollars for what they originally called stain removal then told us over the phone they had to cut out pieces of the carpet??? With no evidence of this occurring. They are petty and sketchy. I do not recommend this place to anyone, and promise your money would be much better spent elsewhere!

Our move in experiece was soooooo awesome. Kiarra and Tyler were so accommodating and wonderful they made us feel right at home even before we moved in! They were so helpful and friendly, especially with our brand new baby. I would recommend Dominion Middle Ridge to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming community to move to!!!!

Also, the carpet in my apartment was not new, just merely cleaned. Still on the fence with how I feel, new resident. Time will tell

My Family and I have been living for 1 year and I can say is a good community in overall because you can reach: supermarkets, malls, hospitals, theaters, gas stations really near even walking distance.If you really are concern about a review for your next move you should keep reading this because I really care about my Family and even the next one that will be living in this community.The complex buildings are clean most of the time, except when you have messy neighbors that dont care about their community and left trash, cigars or even dog food in the hallways.The apartments needs updates in: carpets, appliances and better infrastructure in general, try to incorporate a recycle program so you can have less trash also the fees can get low too.In the services that they offer like: valet trash needs more supervision because there are some days that they pass before the schedule time or even dont pass at all and also some neighbors take out the trash before that time and the hallways smells horrible and also dont look good for future residents. Also, the dumpsters area are always in bad shape with trash all over the entrance and with big old furniture asides.In the security aspect I try to incorporate the neighborhood watch program but the administration in that time (Linda Stiverson) did not cooperate in the effort of let me know the current problems and work together (community and administration) as one. Also I made and send a flyer for the approval of the Administration to start reaching the problems of the community and I never heard about it; so I decide to drop out the neighborhood watch program.Even that I can understand that criminality is everywhere is important to check the illumination in the parking area, check whos cars are from the current residents or who just park in our community.The maintenance or technicians department have a wonderful employee like Mike that is always on time and ready to help you with your service request.The current front office and leasing agent Lorsheia Moore is an excellent resource at any time, very polite, professional and attentive with any situation, also Shahida Robertson that sadly is not working anymore in this community is an amazing, professional and careful person that is really missed for many residents of the community but her work is also valuable for us.After some bad incidents in the community in the past year the administration is have being seeing working in the effort to eradicated the bad for the good, making more activities that incorporate the current residents with all the community to get to know each other.

The only issues I had were with their trash set up. You leave your trash outside for them to pick-up at night, and it would smell. And the hours you can set your trash out are somewhat inconvenient. Also, the parking spaces are tiny. You could barely open your door without bumping the car parked beside you.

Besides loud and rude neighbors who feel the need to post annonomous notes to your door whenever they feel like it.Besides unresponsive, incompitent staff who care very little for your situation.Besides the low rent which they hike up with service fees, trash collection fees, move out fees. (We paid the carpet cleaning service and they still charged us an additional $145 with no evidence to substantiate that claim)Besides the string of murders of community members.Besides the Amenities which include a gym that is rarely accessible because of broken doors, a dog park that is basically a field of feces, broken tire pumps and a pool that gets swarmed with neighborhood children.Yeah great place...

That carpet comment is crazy!!! apartment complexes are suppose to replace the carpet before they rent out to someone else! If they charge me for carpet when I move out. I will be so upset!!!I am a current resident of almost 2 years and I enjoyed my stay here. Now, they charged me a late fee for paying my rent 3 days EARLY on the website. Something clearly went wrong, even though I had my funds ready in my bank, obviously since I was paying 3 days early. So here I am, stuck paying a $50 fee when I was trying to pay early on their online system. Nancy in the office did not bother to care about her resident to waive this one fee. Like seriously, you could of gone beyond and helped me out knowing I was paying 3 days early. You could of called and told me something messed up with my early payment. Instead, they screwed me over. I am so upset. I am planning on moving when my lease is up because clearly, Nancy as a property manager does not care about the residents. No Empathy at all. I am seriously so angry and so upset.

Its all about UDR it is perfect and i moved to Alexandria and stayed with another UDR community. Thumbs up

This place is suspected on their charges for utilities my water bill was high all the time and being military I was never home. There were two investigations for a murder right behind the apartment in 2016 when I was there and theres always fighting or loud arguments going on the parking sucks and the maintenance team Is poor on responding. Trash was the worst one bin for the whole community dam near. I was not happy with my experience

Dirty common areas, dog poop everywhere, rowdy kids, leasing staff who do not respond to voicemails and emails. There you go! thats our review for this dump!

Towing is an issue...regardless if you leave the complex and return your car will be towed...the tow company they use damage my car and refuse to give me their insurance information. D.M.R. still allow them to tow....
