It was a year or so ago but I needed a puller to remove the carrier bearing from the 2 piece drive shaft on my extended cab 8ft bed truck. I had tried many other shops, including professional auto shops, and no one could help me. I took a chance at Power Tool Equip. and they were happy to help. They even said if I could get the drive shaft to them they would remove the bearing for me - no extra charge. I couldnt so they gave me instructions/advice. I took it home and it worked great. Had the bearing removed in ten min. It was a professional sized puller with 3ft long arms needed to reach the bearing. I was thrilled to find the right tool for the job but even more thrilled with the level of knowledge and patience I received. Saved me $$$ Thanks.

Rent staging and other various equiptment and they always have it available and at an affordable rate. also the guys are very helpful and friendly. also its defintely a plus to have someone help load and unload each time thanks guys

One of the worst businesses I’ve ever dealt with. Do not rent. You’d be better of driving for hours to find something else.

On 8/27 I purchased a Neoprene paving mat kit from power tool and equipment rental. The vendor never gave me any spec, specific descriptions, or pictures of the item I ordered for the PC-600 Sakai plate compactor I purchased from them the week before. When the item was delivered to my office, I realized that it was not what I was looking for and was marked up from the manufacturers suggested retail value by 50%. I brought Item back to power tool & equipment in perfect un-used condition. The vendor would not take a return on the item because it was a special order item. They do not list any return or exchange policies at the location or on the invoicing. The owner over-charged me for the accessory, would not take a return unless I paid a 20% restocking fee, and would not refund my credit card until the manufacturer refunded him for the item. Very Poor business practice especially since I just purchased a $1400.00 plate compactor from them. I would not refer them to any of my friends.
