I signed up with General Communication for VOIP phone service. They use Toshiba as the backbone to the system. Toshiba has gone down 4 times in 30 days! This is bad for my business. What is worse is GC charges you $75.00 to forward your phones. This is extortion in my opinion. The tech told me its not our fault Toshiba goes down. I agree but I dont pay Toshiba, I pay GC for the service. I asked if there is a way to forward the phones without GC and I was told the only way to forward the phones is through GC. If you are looking for a phone system please do your homework and avoid companies like this that charge you when their system goes down.11/11/19 - update- I just found out after paying thousands dollars to purchase the phones, I have a buyout or I have to send the phones back. I paid THOUSANDS and have to return them and pay fees and shipping! If I could give them negative stars I would!
