I was looking for protection for my gutters so my husband would not have to climb up on the roof every couple of weeks to clean out the gutters. I had planned on checking on a few prices for different competitors, this was the first quote that we were to receive. The information that was shown to us and the demo was great. We were able to see exactly what we were buying and how it worked using the water-hose with leaves and how it would block everything from going into the gutters. This was the first and only quote I got. Very impressed with the craftsmanship of this product and Tom who explained everything and then when we went to book them to come to the house they were able to come that day. My Husband did not want this but every day he looks up and he is very satisfied and glad we did this. He has taken the ladder to the gutters and there are no leaves in the gutters!!! I AM A VERY HAPPY WIFE ! No more climbing ladders
Updated from 2 stars to 4 stars.First the sales process was very..well..salesy if you know what I mean. They couldn’t give me any details on how they came up with their numbers. A $5200 quote turned into a $3600 quote without any explanation of how they were calculating discounts. Then the typical we will only give you this price if you commit today line. I never liked that approach, but the gutters needed cleaning and protection so I figured it was worth it in the long run.Guy who did the install was unfriendly, but it was a dreary day so I didn’t think much of it. I probably wouldnt have been in a good mood either. As long as the job got done that’s all that matters right?I was promised that they would clean up after themselves, haul away all leaves and debris in buckets, etc. Unfortunately the person who did the initial installation left debris and scraps around my property so I ended up having to go around and clean up after him. It also made me question the work he did on the gutters.It took me a some persistence to get in touch with anyone who could actually assist me, but eventually they sent someone (who was much friendlier and professional) to take away all the scraps and check and make sure the install was done correctly.Its a big company, so I understand that not every job will be perfect and you cant control every employee, but I like to give places a chance to make it right when things go wrong. Fortunately everything seemed to work out in the end. I havent had the system long enough to comment on long term effectiveness, but I am feeling much more confident. We had Leaf Filter installed last year, and I wanted to wait some time before giving a review. So far, I am absolutely happy with it. The mesh is dense enough to prevent anything but water getting into the gutters. All previous attempts with gutter protectors from Home Improvement Stores failed to keep out the needles from the Blue Spruces next to our house. I am so glad that I dont have to climb onto the roof every few months any more. I also want to mention that I am happy with the customer service. After the winter, the mesh had buckled in one area above our garage. I called, and a few days later someone came to repair it. Excellent product, excellent service.
Bad news! Signed contract. They showed up on schedule. Spent an hour and said I would get a refund (Had not paid yet) - they could not install. Said boss would call. Never did even after I called corporate. I dodged a bullet. Clean and seal your gutters and then get them cleaned every year or two.
We were residing the house and adding new gutters. They came out removed the product and after reinstall when the project was done. They did a fabulous job, I am a happy customer.
Leaf filter system had a leak and customer service responded quickly and the repair was done within a day or so and done correctly.
Made some mistakes. Came back and honorably corrected their errors. Put up their gutter protection system and it works amazingly well.
I don’t usually write poor reviews but I feel bad for people that sign on with LeafFilter immediately because the price will drop drastically. I had a salesman come out for an estimate on a Friday and after his high-pressure sales pitch, my cost would have been $5,900. After all the ‘discounts,’ it would have been $4,100 if I agreed that day. I wanted to think about it and talk to people before committing. On a Sunday night the salesman started texting me and offered $2,250 for commercial pricing. Now I just flat out refuse to purchase their product based on the fact that I would’ve been paying $2,000 more if I committed the day of the presentation. Their bottom line is not what they offer you when the come out for the estimate. Buyer beware!!

This has been an amazing experience as new homeowner I was very please with the fast scheduling and service that I received the very next day. Although I felt bad for the installer because he had to work alone. He was well educated, professional, hard worker. I was very impressed at the outcome. I am glad no more climbing the ladder to clean gutters or asking other people to help me. Best decision I have could have ever made.
The installer showed up on time, introduced himself, asked questions, answered our questions, asked permission to go in our yard and look at the gutters, explained what he was going to do, and began working. He stopped once to answer more questions that I had, and went back to work. Finished the job in the time he thought it might take, cleaned up his stuff and left. We couldnt be happier. He was such a nice polite and friendly guy, and if I could promise he would show up at anyones house, I would suggest they ask for him by name. It was a pleasure.

We have recently installed LeafFilter Gutter Protection on the house gutters but the presentation was professional and responsive to all our questions. The product is made in the US and the installers were very professional and called us when they were on their way. To date, we are pleased with choosing LeafFilter.
Signed a contract 5/26. canceled 4 hours later, (three days to cancel) called the salesman, no answer left a cancellation message, emailed the salesman a cancellation, twice now, there is no listed email for the local company. 5/26 & 5/27/20, called the main company, they said they dont handle cancellations put me on a line 10 min no answer.the service # the salesman gave me a disconnected line,,, job start was 6/4/20. I will be here and tell them, I canceled leave.. seems like a scam company, they will not get a cent from me,,,,
The installation crew did their job well. They stayed late until it was done. The product has performed well during recent rain events. I will further evaluate after one year.

Product is good, but service is horrible. Seems like they hire outside contractors to do the job. We had great difficulty in understanding their language, they were almost 5 hours late to the job and extremely loud. Customer service is not good either.

Had Leaf Filter installed on my house in November 2017.If you live in an area that has a winter I would notrecommend installing this. When it snows the water runs off the roof over the gutters and freezes on the steps and sidewalks causing a dangerous condition. I brought this to their attention and the answer to me was “ take it off in the winter and install it when winter is over”.The reason I installed this was not to be on a ladder.It is now end of May with no results.If I could give Leaf Filter a no stars I would.Back in August Justin from Leaf Filter came in and removed my gutters and reinstalled them to try and correct the problem so water will flow into them properly.Hopefully this winter my gutters will perform better. This company is a complete joke! I was a sub contractor there all they care is $$$... They have the worst customer service, not to mention that they hire installers who has no gutter experience to work on houses... Can you imagine? They have no clue... All they want is to get jobs done no matter what they look! Then theyll Hunt you down for payments... All this to meet their weekly/monthly/yearly goals! They ripped me off and they will continue to rip their own sub-contractor by not paying them... They still owe me and I know Ill never see a penny even thou i have all tje receipts for all the extra materials that I bought because the estimate was off. Also their estimators? Never installed gutters in their life, they are just sales people... This is the type of company i would stay away from...

My 78 year old father called them up for a estimate on our house. The guy came and was KINDA professional at first. He took Pictures and Measurements of the gutters which were only 17ft long on front and rear of our single family townhouse style home and the gutters were spotless from the pictures he showed. So then he takes us to the rear of his station wagon to show us the product and some company presentation stuff all while the car is running and we were sucking up fumes from the exhaust.. A Big No No for a almost 80 year old guy with asthma to be breathing that stuff in for the 10-15 minutes we were standing there. So after the presentation the sales guy TED started to get real pushy with my Dad so I said you know what, we need time to think about this and Ted replies, What is there to think about in a rude loud tone! I then said this is a big purchase and its something that the family needs to talk about so Ted got really mad and said well you got 2 minutes to make a decision, thats not how this works lol and I said well thats not going to work for us, we need more time to think about this, he then slammed the tailgate on his car (Almost hitting my dad) and he started having a hissy-fit like a child. I told him you need to relax buddy and get out of here.. so he says.. so your telling me I came all the way here for nothing and I said the way your acting, That answer is probably going to be a YES you did. He then became furious and got into his car slammed his door and we went into the house. I was ready to call the cops on him but they have better things to do. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!

My aging parents had a LeafFilter salesman to the house and asked me to be a part of the conversation. Living in New England, cleaning the gutters is a yearly hassle so we were open to a solution.Not long into the conversation when things weren’t going his way when addressing our concerns, the boisterous salesman raised his voice at me in the home where I grew up. I told him that’s completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Soon after when it was clear we wouldn’t be making a purchasing decision that day (as a policy we NEVER agree the same day—always need to sleep on it—we find the same day purchase deals an underhanded sales tactic and have put an end to similar conversations when they’ve been offered previously), he started to pressure my parents using a sales funnel. Luckily I immediately identified it and asked him to stop. At this point he became enraged and yelled louder than before, so I then told him he needs to leave. He packed up his things angrily and left.After doing more research, it seems a high percentage of their customers are unsatisfied with the way the product works, the quality of work, and the responsiveness of the company. If the EXTREMELY rude salesman yelling at me in my own home and TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SENIORS was any indicator of how they do business, we definitely saved ourself a headache.

The framingham office installed gutters on the home of my 80+ year old parents. Gutters were installed incorrectly. 3 people have come out to take pictures and agreed not installed properly. 2 months later still not installed correctly. Do not go with this outfit.
I have been reviewing others experiences and I too reviewed multiple companies before deciding on LeafFilter. The presentation was very informative, and I too purchased because it based on the presentation and guarantees on how great it was supposed to perform as well as lifetime warranty. The installation was completed on June 14th 2018 and my wife and I were anxious to see how well these were going to perform. The following week we had our first hard rain, and let me tell you, I was very disappointed. I had water pouring out in areas that I never had problems with prior to the installation. Water was backing up above the gutters and pouring down behind the gutter in front of the fascia board. If that was not enough, we had sections of the soffit with water pouring out of them. End caps and corners had water dripping through even though the seems were supposed to be caulked with 50 year sealer. We now have valleys on the roof where the inside corners of the gutter are being completely overshot by the water and creating massive waterfalls with splash back against our doors going to the back deck. Now for the good part, I have made multiple phone calls trying to get them to come back and make the appropriate repairs and have gotten no where. I called after the first heavy rain in which they said they would be there the next day between 8 and noon. Did not receive a call from the service tech until 7:15 that evening that he was on his way and would be here a little after 8 to make the necessary repairs if that was ok. Said he had a flashlight, to which I told him that was unacceptable. He then stated he would call me the next morning to get us taken care of. The call never came, so I called the next day and complained to which the receptionist told me a manager would call me and I received no call and that was last Friday. I called Monday and no call back. I called yesterday, and got voicemail. I called this morning and finally was transferred to what I assume was a Manager and I told him I wanted this product removed from my home. He stated he would have his Regional Manager call me. So we shall see. Fingers crossed. Oh and by the way, yes it is VERY EXPENSIVE.Still no attempt of the Leaffilter company trying to make this right. Had an appointment scheduled for a supervisor to come inspect the system between 1 and 3 on July 3rd, and received a call from another installation crew saying they were running late and be there at 4:30 to make repairs. Did not receive this call until 3:20 so again I waited around the house for another no show. Called the warranty hor line at 3:30 on the 3rd for about the 15th time and it is now July 10th and I have not received a call back from anyone.We took advantage of the low interest financing they offered and found out that is provided by Wells Fargo. Spoke with them and they are conducting there own investigation. I have demanded they come remove their product and have gotten no where. I guess my next recourse is filing a law suit.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE EVER.
