My husband and I need a Covid test to be taken 3 days before departing on an international flight. Arcpoint claims that results from samples taken at this facility are generally available within 48-72 hours. We had been assured twice (by phone and on our visit) that the results for samples taken on a Thursday would be sent by e-mail by the following Saturday. We visited the facility for samples to be taken on Thursday September 2nd at 9:30am. However, nothing showed up on Saturday, and still having heard nothing by Wednesday September 8 (6 days after) we called the office, and were told that the lab was still working on our samples. Slightly later, we received a phone call admitting that the samples had been lost in transit. We were not offered a refund, but a free test of the same day type. Our conclusions:Any service that promises PCR results within a 48-72 hour time frame is completely at the mercy of whatever postal service they use, and should not in fairness make this claim.They should actively track shipments so they know as early as possible when things have gone astray, and proactively contact customers. As it was, they left us forgotten except for endless requests for feedback.The story that the lab is still working on your samples was untrue, and a stalling manouvre while they attempted to trace the samples - they would have been more honest not to have bothered with this, but to have waited until they actually knew for certain what had happened.We were not offered a refund, but a different type of test. At a price of $200 per test, and not accepting insurance, this is at the high end of the price range for an unreliable serviceOur primary conclusion is that we cannot rely on their PCR service, and as it became apparent that we would not receive results in time for our flight, we made alternative arrangements

I had a test for international travel. To be sure, I selected the quickest test as I was flying in less than 48 hrs. The staff were great, the lady who took my sample was fast and professional. I received the results in 4 hours. Cant ask for better than that.

Arc point Lab and Occumed are awesome!! They are so easy to work with, get you right in and out. I have only had amazing service from Alex, Maria and their staff including Caroline in Canton. The only reason I gave them a 4 star instead of 5 is due to the staff member at the Woburn office who answers the phone as well as took blood for my antibody test. She was somewhat rude both on the phone as well as in person. She should be more respectful of her CLIENTS. We can choose to go elsewhere but don’t because of everyone else at Accumed. This place is always amazing!!

Online says “walk-ins accepted” and the answering machine says walk-ins until 4:30. I called 3 times just in case to make an appointment, no reply. When I came in, two receptionists were all alone in the office and said only drug tests were walk-in which wasn’t stated anywhere online. I said I tried calling many times and they stated “we were busy”. I have all sympathy and respect for health care workers. Just frustrating.

A mixed bag this one. I have increased my review by one star, because I got my results by email back, within 24 hours, but longer than the this afternoon or next morning promised in office. It still stands that there were several other parts of this interaction that were below average, so no 5-stars.I went here to get tested for Covid-19, so I could get myself out of travel quarantine. On Thursday, after struggling to get an appointment soon, I discovered Arcpoint. Got myself an appointment for 2pm the next day on Friday (though my guess is you speed things up and just show up... the office was empty)So where the trouble started was me figuring out which of the two Covid tests to opt for. Their web site was no help (they must have fixed that, because now its FULL of help... but too late for me.) I spent about 30 minutes casting about web-wise trying to find an answer. I looked on Mass D.P.H. site: no help there either. So I opt for the $125 rapid test (results in 24 hours). Why wouldnt I? Its cheaper and faster. Unlike most testing sites, Arcpoint will not take insurance, if my insurance covers this, Ive gotta do all the leg-work. fun! not....Well now I know better. Apparently according to Arcpoints updated website, the test I opted for is not the one recommended for travelers. I can not figure out who it really IS for. ...And no, the test I selected was not for antibodies, I already knew that one is only to tell you if you have already HAD covid.I show up in Cummings Park, expecting a tent, and a drive-thru. Nope! I call, and they tell me to come inside the office building, walk down two long hallways past several people, and take the stairs to the 3rd floor. So much for quarantine : -)...So up til now, I can forgive them, since everyone is making it up as we muddle through this pandemic.The technician seems under protected, with only scrubs and a cheesey surgical mask. Well thats not my problem, Im wearing a better mask than she is. (KN95)I ask when I will find out results (test was done 2:30pm Friday). The receptionist/lab tech says results will be emailed either that afternoon or next morning. I double-check, because I remember seeing that they were closed on Saturday. I said, if I dont get results, can I call in the after noon on Saturday. She said yes....Well technically she did not lie. Yes I was able to call on Saturday. That does not mean anybody was there to answer. They ARE closed on Saturday, if you do not get an email, you are up the creek until someone answers the phone on Monday.Now Arcpoint will probably get this covid stuff ironed out, but as far as I can tell, service to the people being tested is not their focus if their business model. After all, before this, most of their clients were being forced to come here for drug testing. I feel sorry for those folks, because they probably always get the same lackadaisical service I got.I will say this: a lab could make bank if they had a 24/7 testing area set up in the Logan Airport parking garage. You fly in. You get tested. Done. Wait 3 days, and youre free. I landed Wednesday evening, its Saturday, and I would know by today for the more accurate three day test.

Great experience! I went for a screening for work 5 minutes before they closed and they stayed open the extra time in order for me to be screened. The lab tech who took my sample was extremely friendly and made the experience much less awkward than it had the potential to be!

As a thirty year veteran of the employee screening and healthcare industry, I have had the pleasure of working for the best organizations and with the brightest individuals. Matt has these qualities and they are reflected in his preparation, planning, and delivery of services. Excellence and Customer Service are not slogans for Matt and ARCpoint Labs, it is an objective. One that he has achieved both in practice and performance.

Matt and Chris are absolutely fantastic... astoundingly customer focused and so easy to work with... When a challenge arose, they didnt hesitate to have the lab create a customized panel in order to meet the demands of the state of Idaho (and didnt charge me extra). Chris was super friendly and accommodating - even with me showing up at 4:50pm. He didnt complain one bit about me taking forever to provide a sample (stage fright 😓) or my relentless jibber jabber.Most amazingly, when one chaotic Friday a family emergency caused me to miss testing during normal business hours, Matt stayed late and allowed me to test at 6:30pm (on a Friday night!?! 😲) These guys are hands down the GOAT (greatest of all time)!!!!

I have been using ARCpoint Labs in Woburn, MA now for over a year. My first visit to this office was a very hard time in my life for multiple reasons Id rather not elaborate on. After my first hair follicle test results came back I had to return for another sample due to the first one not containing enough hair for the full 14 panel to be tested. They discounted the price from $395 to $80 to test for the rest of what still needed to be tested. Stephanie was, by far, extremely compassionate to my situation which I didnt really get into due to an enormous amount of shame and heart ache. Since May 2017 to current, July 2018, Ive been to ARCpoint, Woburn, MA 6 times. From my second visit forward Stephanie has been so encouraging and empathetic to my situation. I feel like shes true in every word she speaks wether its technically to the labs or about her lovely, empowering encouragement. This office has always treated me with a lot of respect and dignity. They understand some people are different for reasons unknown and really treat you with a high level of respect. Although Ive had quite a bit of hair cut from my head, only once was it not done so inconspicuously by Matt. He did say Stephanie was better at it. No worries, itllgrow back in time, but it will stick out a bit until it grows enough to bend flat again. I would highly recommend this location to anyone no matter what reason you need the services they offer. Stephanie, you will be missed by many. I wish you sincere true happiness in this next stage of your life. You will be a very awesome mommy, I know it! You truly are irreplaceable. They will find someone to work you position but finding another human being with your level of care and compassion for complete strangers will not be untouchable by my standards.
