Back in early May, I was stuck in a nearby hotel with what I assumed was a broken alternator. I was thrilled to find this shop open on Sunday and confirmed that they would be able to fix alternator if needed. Towed my mini-van to them, explained that the battery was changed only a year ago, so I think its alternator.They said they still need to replace the battery to test the alternator (odd, they could use their own battery for testing). Anyway, I said fine. They replaced the battery and said that that was the only issue, the alternator tested fine.Half-an-hour later I was stuck on the road with no charge again. I changed the alternator and havent had any issues in the last 2 months.On the positive note, I really appreciate the service I got from Carley, the front desk girl. She entertained my son and gave me good pointers on how to navigate the metro line and where to go to eat in Boston. So 5 stars for the front end customers service, but I came to fix the car and the mechanic failed miserably to do that.

Poorly managed business. Overpriced. Terrible location - difficult to find. Poorly maintained roadway. Shallow inventory. DID NOT find the tires I was looking for. Will not return. Not recommended. Did not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. Beware. Run away.

Great experience a few months ago. Had bought 4 tires, that I was pleased with. A month later seemed like one was low on air. I brought it back to Mavis, and Carly was amazing! She brought me in to the waiting room, and while I waited Josh and Josh, the two fellows on duty, figured out the issue and fixed it. Meanwhile, Carly kept coming in to check on me, apologizing for the wait and being so pleasant. These three people were wonderful and the problem was taken care of. It was nice to be attended to by the staff in a timely and professional manner.

Brought van in for new tires. Took over three hrs for two tires to be installed. ( van was on the lift the whole time) they finally finished and drove it home. The back of the van at speeds over 45 mph would sway back and fourth. Called my mechanic and he said they didn’t put enough pressure in the tires or tires are not correct for Load. Guy in the front ( not knowing I had talked to a mechanic already confirmed the tire pressure is more than likely the issue).Went back and they started to tell me I needed new breaks, which doesn’t make sense because logic tells you if it was the breaks it would of swayed before. Anyway bad customer service, horrible technicians, and they are dishonest. Stay away from this place

This review is pending!!! The girl at the counter was very rude to me yelling at me. Treating me like I know nothing about anything. It’s a shame to come into a place like this and get treated in a manner that would have my heart racing and my blood pressure up the way it is. I’ll never go back to this or any other locations. Being from New Hampshire we treat people in a manner that’s respectful. And kind. Not like we are owed anything. This girl is a liability and should not have a position there.

I had a wonderful time doing business with the staff at this location. They replaced all of my tires while mounting and balancing them, however they were not able to align my truck. Due to the length of my truck, extended cab long bed, I was told that it would not fit on their alignment rack. Hopefully, their equipment will get upgraded so that they can accommodate more customers. Thanks!

I got a flat tire and brought it to a nearby dealership where they quoted me two tires for near $400. I called NTB Woburn and they quoted me two tires for much less. When I got there they ended up giving me the three tires I needed based on the budget I had ! The gentleman that helped me were awesome . I took a short walk over to the complex across the street and they were done by the time I came back . I highly recommend this location . You wont be disappointed!

ACCESS FROM GARDEN STEvery step of the way the techs were upfront and transparent, showed me defective parts, answered many questions, explained warantees.Tires purchased elsewhere.On arrival:Driver side sidewall bulgedO2 sensor badFront driver strut leaking,I wasnt initially aware of balding tires or failing strut, got both front struts and sway bars, and good waranteed all seasons. Balanced, mounted, alignedCame back because of part manufacturer failure on one strut, they replaced same day, shawn drove out to personally to get non-defective part from vendor.Carl realigned tires and did not charge me to fix issue even though they heavily discounted labor up front.Manager Josh, tech and sales Shawn, and technician Carl have made a lifetime customer of me.

The quality of knowledge and service of the employees at this Mavis Tires & Brakes are second to none. The manager and his employees are extremely professional and excellent at their jobs. There are five other Mavis locations closer to where I live but I chose to drive almost an hour just to go here. Not only will I continue to go here but I couldn’t recommend a better place to anyone who is looking for tires and other services for their vehicles.

I always go here to when I need an oil change, tires, or anything of that nature. Josh the service manager makes sure he can fit me in the schedule promptly so I’m in, out and back on the road in no time. I highly recommend going here for any of your vehicles needs!~Chris~

Used to be NTB tire in Woburn called about rebalancing tires I got 3 years ago. Girl on phone could not have been nicer. Told me to come right down . She kept me updated on progress of work. Highly recommend this place . Carli is the manager and she helps out back works counter. Awesome employee.

I walked into this location without an appointment and was greeted by Jake who was very pleasant to deal with. I needed my tires balanced which took 30 minutes. Tommy, the technician, was very quick and proficient with his work. These guys are extraordinarily nice and professional who make their customers feel great. I wanted a specific service for my vehicle and these guys honored and respected my request. I have no regrets and would recommend this location to anyone. Keep up the good service gentlemen.

Been using this place for years never had a issue till today. Walked in to get a leaky valve stem repaired. The guy insisted my fairly new 200tw tire was bald and needs to be replaced. I tried to tell him that is how the tread pattern was designed on the shoulder of the tire (Kumho v730) but wouldnt listen. Then started to say how the tires should only be used twice and should be replaced or it will blow up!!! At that point i said thank you and drove away.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would...I was told I had to come in to pay for tires before they could order them. I went into the store waited in a line of 2 people in front of me for over 30 minutes and should of been turned away by all of the complaining customers in line, however decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Even with people in line the manager continuously picked up the telephone despite people in line waiting. He continuously stated he was short staffed. When I finally got helped I was informed that in fact I didn’t have to come in because they had the tires in stock. I had to make an appointment for over a week later because they were so busy. This morning I woke up and drove my 2 kids under 3 to a babysitters 30 minutes away and had to be there for 7:30. When I arrived I was informed that they didn’t have the tires I had requested in stock. My mind was absolutely blown, with a scheduled appointment they didn’t have the tires I had requested. I was told at 11am the manager could go drive to another store to get them, I then asked him if he was going to pay for my babysitter and he had no response. I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE! Don’t even waste your time trying to call because they don’t pick up the phone. Aweful customer service, thank god for the Steven around the corner at Town Fair who was able to get me the same tires at a better price and take my vehicle immediately for 4 new tires and an alignment! He totally saved my day! Do yourselves a favor and go straight to Town Fair!

What an incredible ripoff. My wife goes in with a dead battery (as in we had to jump the car that morning)in her Nissan Juke and gets whacked $212. Why so much? Because apparently they factor in a half hour of shop rate labor ($60) for the service. Go to any Batteries Plus (or just about anywhere else in fact) - got my truck battery for $144 - installed for FREE (and yeah the guy there did throw a voltmeter on to check that it was dead) - the entire process took 10 minutes including checkout.

Dana from NTB Tire was great to deal with. He ordered me tires on the last day of the month so that I could get the deal from the manufacturer which was ending that day. He followed up with phone calls and had the tires in his shop by 4 pm. I had all the tires on my car by 5:00. He kept me informed and made this an easy transaction. Great place to do business

I give 1 star because we cannot give less! This was one of my worst customer experience! I took an appointment to install 4 news tires, I arrived 15 min before the scheduled time. They attend me only after 10 min and the manager was not able to find my appointment. They had to re-enter all my informations which they took twice on the phone! The guy was not really customer friendly! It was like I was going to be paid! It took them 1 hour 35 minutes to install 4 news tires...A normal 30min job. When I was waiting another customer arrived for a flat tire, it was a minivan with 2 or 3 kids...the manager said that he need to take an appointment 2 days after...to fix a flat tire when is a 15 min fix! And how can you let him go away and wait 2 days with a flat!Will I was waiting the manager insisted 2 times to make an alignment for my wheels for 90$ while my car had already an alignment 4 months ago and did told them that over the phone and in store. Performing a non necessary operation only to make money is not a good customer attitude and for sure people will not come back! So they have time to do an non necessary alignment but no time to fix a flat tire for another customerWhen I finally get my car back, the wheels were really dirty, more that when I arrived and after driving few miles I noticed that the steering was shaking around 70 miles/h a good sign that the balancing of wheels was not done correctly. with the old tires everything was running smooth at all speeds. They also over inflated all of the tire at 45 / 46 Psi while the maximum from the manufacturer is 44 psi and on my car its stated 35 psi for the front and 41 psi for the rear wheels!!!!

My hats off for Josh, Chris, and the team at NTB in Woburn.I lost my carrier bearing on my F350 on my way North on the highway last night at like 4:30. I called them they said bring it in.Josh was awesome he got it right in the shop, they removed the driveshaft and told me what I needed. Josh had his team take my driveshaft off, he put it in the back of his personal car and drove me down to a machine shop to have it pressed in, to install. I couldnt have been more grateful for that. Brought me back to the shop they installed it in no time and had me back on the road.There are still honest working mechanics out there, Josh and his crew at NTB in Woburn are true example of that. I look forward to have them work on my truck again.

Place is great but usually these brick and mortar stores get bad rep for unknown reasons. I only deal with Charles here as he is straight forward and honest. Doesn’t try to sell you junk you don’t need or can’t afford as tires do get expensive. Again, ONLY deal with Charles

These guys are awesome!!! I made a last minute appointment today because I found what I thought was a nail in my tire. Staff was so polite and professional and when it turned out that the screw had not penetrated my tire I wasn’t even charged for the labor, which I happily would have paid for the piece of mind I received in exchange. I also showed up ten minutes late because of traffic and they still got me out within my appointment window. Will return to them anytime I need maintenance.

I came for an oil change appointment. It took me over two hours to have a simple oil change. I have always brought my my car for oil change and the services have always been good and fast till now!!!

I noticed one of my tires was really low. So I went to fill air when I noticed that my cap was missing on the tire. Not 1 but all 4. So i stopped buy and wanted to purchase caps. However the gentleman gave me he four caps and filled my tires with air at no charge. This is an amazing place, where they place customer service above all. Thank you so much for your kind gesture. And i look forward to doing business with them in the future

Repaired flat tire (brand new tire with nail in in) relatively quick job but whoever did the work they did NOT connect car to computer to reset low tire pressure message. I called store and was told to drive it for 20 min and message will disappear, it has not reset and Ive driven well over 20 minutes, so now I have to bring car back again to have it done correctly.

Today, we are lucky to be able to do so much homework ahead of time, and invest/spend wisely. I choose NTB because of the positive Google reviews, and they were closest to me. Had 4 winter tires (purchased online) installed on my one-year old Outback. —Maybe overkill, but I want to be 100% confident. Everything went fine, and I was out in less time than was estimated, and for less money. Great!

Got a flat on the highway and went to NTB for replacement. Kind, courteous, and professional. Went out of their way to help and get us the best deals possible. They were quick and efficient and got us back on the road within an hour.Amazing service when most other tire shops were already closed for the evening.

Nice to be able to get some service on a Sunday. Needed headlights and was able to get them plus fixed a front end issue which really makes the car sound better. Couple of cups of coffee and a little football on the TV and I was good to go. I know customer experiences vary at garages but eight years and two cars later I have been treated fairly and well.

Jake and Scott are great guys that really care about the customer and doing things right!

Downgrading my review to one star since the response to my review was to post in a different website which I have already done. Please respond to your own website if you would like to improve the customer experience.I went in to get tires and was told it would be a 4 hour wait. Instead I made an appointment for the following week to come back, and received a quote for 4 tires. I called the morning of my appointment to confirm that they had the tires I wanted in stock, and was told they were. When I arrived for my appointment it was over 90 minutes before they even started working on my car because they had to go pick up the tires they already confirmed they had. Overall very disappointing since I had an appointment and confirmed stock. All in all it was a 2 and a half hour wait for what should have taken 30 minutes.

Very friendly and knowledgeable team. I was getting tire pressure warning even when I got air. I dont know anything about low profile tires and wouldnt trust I could check pressure and fill if needed . They checked them quickly and let me know what the possible issues could be. They didnt try to sell me anything, but the service would make me want to buy from here if I needed to replace the tires.

This organization continues to amaze me with their lack of customer service. I thought the last couple of times was the individual I was dealing with, but it is now clear it is organizational. There is absolutely no follow through with issues and an attitude when discussing it with them. Theyve lost my business.

This is a pending post. I got a flat tire on Sat morning and I called around and NTB Woburn was open. I talked to the person on the phone about the situation and he said he can order the tire for me for Monday, but I need to go in in person in order to buy the tire. I changed my plan for Sun and went in to buy the tire for Mon. When asked about why I need to come in to buy the tire, the person said it is their policy. The tire came in around 4PM on Mon and then they asked me about making an appointment to have it put on. During my time at the store, I was told once the tire come in, they would put it on for me and on the car for me, no mention of making an appointment. So I said, how about I drop off my wheel and you can do it on Tuesday. I dropped off my wheel on Monday around 5PM for Tue. Tue came along and I called around noon and it wasnt done and was told they would call me when it is done. I called around 5pm and it is done. I understand that they are busy so it is what it is. I got there, and my wheel is all marked up. At first, they denied they cause any of it but then the person that I was dealing said they will make it right by getting me a new one, in a week. As of nowhere, it stays at 1 star until actions are taken.Update: Today, the manager called me and took care of me today. It wasnt busy and he got me right in. It has been a little over a week but he did want he promised.

Service here has been consistantly good over the years. Labor and material prices are standard. Always quote a long lead time over the phone but if you just show up it takes 1 - 1.5 hours for 4 new sneakers.

I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life here. I had to wait about 15 minutes to so much as be acknowledged, and then was treated with so much outright disrespect that I turned around and walked out. Jokes on them, though. Turns out I needed $300 worth of work, all of which I got done elsewhere by polite people.

I had a fantastic experience with NTB Woburn! I had made an appointment to get snow tires on my car at NTB Allston (Boston); however, when I arrived, I was informed that the tire tech hasnt shown up in a few days and they were unable to service me. I frantically called NTB Woburn to see if they could squeeze me in on a busy Saturday before the holidays and, despite a busy day on their end, they gracefully accommodated me. Jake, who was working the front desk, was fantastic at customer service! He worked with the techs to get me in and out in a timely manner and communicated with me frequently on the status of my job. He also informed me of other issues with my car (e.g., my back light was out) and asked if Id like to get the repair. I appreciated that they looked for other issues with the car and were able to fix those issues on the spot, so I didnt need to come back again. I was shocked when I learned that this was Jakes 6th day on the job -- there were so many customers coming in with various requests and Jake was calm, cool, and collected the entire time. Given that this NTB location is a bit bigger than others, they have a versatile staff that can tackle most car problems. Despite living so close to NTB Allston, I may make the hike out to NTB Woburn again for my car servicing needs -- fantastic experience!

Disappointing experience getting an oil change today. I made an appointment for 1pm to get the oil change done on my lunch break. My car was not brought inside until 1:50 after I had to chase them down about it. If you have a time constraint and need a quick oil change, I recommend looking elsewhere.

I had a great experience getting service at NTB. The staff were friendly and attentive. I stopped by without an appointment and they took my car and expertly mounted and balanced 4 tires for my VW Jetta in just a couple of hours. Ive lived in this area for many years, and I can tell you its hard to find a good auto service shop, especially one that will do same day service. Highly recommended.

Today I had a disaster on my hands. My windshield wiper screw came lose and my windshield wiper was not working on the drivers side. Of course it is Christmas time and I have a million things to do plus two very sick family members. I was driving to Market Basket and trying to figure out where I could stop to have someone help me with the wipers. I couldnt even figure out how to open my hood. Anyway, the guys at this store took my car in immediately and fixed my windshield wipers. They would not even take any money despite my repeated offers to buy lunch for the crew. UNBELIEVABLE to know that there are decent people out there. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. You saved me today. You have no idea how much I appreciate it.

I received excellent service there on March 19, 2014. I got a flat tire while driving with my grandchildren. I was nearby and went right to this NTB. They were friendly and helpful from the minute I walked through the door. In a matter of 10 minutes they had changed my tire and sent us on our way. I would not only do business with them again, I would highly recommend them to others.Thank you to the staff and management for the help I was provided.

The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. They always explain the procedure, why it has to be done, when it will be ready and what my financial responsibility is. So there is never a surprise. I give them a thumbs up all around.

Found screw in my tire while at work (far away from my home car mechanic). Co-worker recommended NTB in Woburn, MA, and it was very satisfactory experience. Polite and friendly stuff, they fixed my tire for very little cost and very fast as well. Will go there for my tire needs from now on.

Saturday morning visit to NTB was a pleasant one! Got comparible pricing on tire quote from Town Fair tire. All four tires balanced and mounted in little more than an hour. Our rep Jesse was very personable and provided great information about tire quality and value of the services available. I would recommend this tire shop and do business with them in the future when in the area.

Schedule a tire replacement and alignment with the guys. Explained that I just had shocks and springs just replaced on the car and with new tires wanted to get alignment done since the had 215000 miles. No prior pull left or right. My wife brought the car next day - alignment was not done. I had to go day after again to do alignment. When I got the car and started driving - the car was pulling to the left like never before. Had to turn around mid- way to work and come back to them. They redid the alignment.So 3 visits instead of 1. And their tone was on edge of rudeness. Would not recommend. Go next door TownTire where I should have gone in the first place

Always friendly and helpful. Ive dealt with Nathan both visits and he is always polite and helpful. As someone who doesnt know a lot about cars i never feel like im being taken advantage of, or misold services or products here. I feel comfortable that they are doing a good job. The waiting room is comfortable enough with fresh coffee and vending machines. The restrooms were clean both times. I will continue to come here with my car. Thumbs up.

Terrible. Called to get an alignment. Tried to explain i have multiple cars to bring in 5 in total and 3 of them need full sets of tires. Guy wouldnt stop interrupting me and kept talking over me saying i cant bring 5 cars at once...no sh*t sherlock how would i drive 5 cars in at once...so still had patience and asked him if he had time to do 1 alignment today. This was at 3:30 and he said yea come down. So i drive down get there at 3:47 and guy keeps me standing there for 15 minutes then says i need ti schedule a time to come in because his alignment tech just left at 4! I told him great job on customer service skills and he just lost 5 alignments and 3 sets of tires....oh well town fair tire just got alot more business from me

Had an appointment scheduled for 630pm got a call four hours before the appointment (that was scheduled days in advance) that they dont have anyone scheduled after 5pm and they were canceling it. Guy that called had poor customer service skills. What a shame I got a job located pratically next to them and I was looking for a new mechanic but they lost my service before they could getme in the door. Not wasting my time.

Dana took me right in for a noise that I was hearing on my car and performed an oil change at the same time (without an appointment), all the guys working there are great, friendly, courteous!! I will definitely spread the good word of NTB-Woburn!!

Dont go here, the service is terrible and takes forever. I wont be a repeat customer thats for sure. Scheduled an appointment for 5pm and got there early for 4:45. All I wanted was an oil change for my Mazda and a leak plugged in one tire. They finished at 6:45 with no one ahead of me, did not top off all fluids (as stated in the Oil Package I chose), and were very rude after I refused to buy one tire for $170 because they wouldnt plug the leak they found (not in the sidewall).

I need to get four tires mounted and balanced on my 1988 Jeep Wrangler and NTB had the lowest price for that service. More importantly, this is not the easiest vehicle to work on, but they did a great job. I am completely satisfied.
