Dan is a true professional. Dan is honest, ethical and knows the business. He understands the details that need to get done to have your home in sellable condition without over spending. I have used him to both to buy and sell and he has exceeded my expectations each time. He actually sold my house for $150,000 over what I told him to list it at. He also helped me through a complicated purchase of a lakefront property. Dan has experience buying and selling multi million dollar properties, but will still dedicate himself and his time for smaller listings. There are some mega agents out there that will just pass you on to one of their junior agents. Not Dan, he will be the one that works with you directly to buy or sell. I would highly recommend Dan to anyone that is in need of a realtor.

I want to take a moment to say what a great real estate agent Janice Cox is and I highly recommend her to anyone reading this. In fact, I do recommend her and friends have already used her to close on a new house.We were hesitant about selling our home in 2020 during the pandemic but our fears were quickly alleviated. Janice helped us from A to Z with every aspect of selling our house. From arranging a private showing, to suggestions to make the home “show” ready, to pricing and final contract. She also had to deal with some curveballs that came her way as the buyers had some unique requests. Janice made the whole process seamless. I also appreciated how respectful she was and her attention to cleanliness. The best thing about Janice is her strength with communication. She really knows people and has the ability to deal with different personality types. I appreciate Janice so much and will not hesitate to use her again.

If the deplorable condition of the abandoned properties this brokerage represents on Lakeview Avenue (Killarney Estates) is any indication of their attitude towards their profession, the neighborhood, and the city of Winter Park in general, I would avoid them at all costs.

I am a business owner and repeat customer of Sothebys International Realty in other metros. I had a terrible experience with this branch and specifically with Nancy Shear that consisted of profanities being yelled at me and being berated as a customer despite having a 1mm+ listing with the branch. I purchased a 2.15mm home and 1mm condo through this brokerage but ultimately have transferred all of my business to Sothebys Tampa and could not have been happier with the change to the staff over there. Calls to the Winter Park Managing Broker, Danny Williams were not returned which is unacceptable given the problems seemingly running amok at this branch. If two words could define this specific Sothebys franchise it would be: low rent.CAVEAT EMPTOR! Look else where to another local real estate brokerage or another Sothebys branch to handle your needs.
