Super nice people. It was the first time I had been in a Christian group and listened to Christian priests. I am not a Christian, and it was interesting and thought-provoking to hear the words of them. They are very kind and energetic people who are willing to help the students from the bottom of their hearts, and that is commendable.Although it has been a while since I graduated and I have not yet found the job I am looking for, I am happy to attend these classes and get to know these people. Sincere and pure people who spend hours and hours without getting paid for their students to teach them to be the best version of themselves and thats not a small thing. Still, when I remember those lovely people, I am filled with positive energy and I wish them the best.
Serving as a Jobs Partnership Coach has been a true blessing. To see the participants (students) grow develop and gain a true understanding of work and life principles that will lead to their continued success has been a joy to observe. I know of so many students that the program has helped with everything from writing resumes, participating in interviews, and developing leadership skills that will take them from an entry level position to the boardroom. The students come from various backgrounds. Each students life journey is different and you are given the opportunity to learn so much from the small groups that allow coaches and students to develop mentoring relationships. Participation in Jobs Partnership is designed to develop and prepare students for the ever changing job market, while learning how to apply Christian Principles to life and work. Jobs Partnership is a program that last for 12 weeks. Students who are committed to improving, learning and engaging in every activity, walk away from the program better prepared for employment, promotions and even entrepreneurial opportunities! The companies that partner with the program know that each student is ready to be a star employee and graduation from the program is an excellent addition to each students resume. If you are looking for an opportunity to serve and use your skills to coach and mentor this is an excellent organization to learn more about.
This organization has provided so many avenues for growth. From resume building to training skills cohorts, there are so many more options for job opportunities that without Jobs Partnership would go unnoticed. The JP staff is great! Everyone is accommodating and very helpful. Selena especially is so awesome!! She is motivating and a light in the classes, I am so thankful for meeting her! She is extremely responsive to everything and goes out of her way to make sure that needs are met. She is super friendly and someone great to confide in throughout the program. Apply, Apply, Apply!!!
I was honored to serve as a Coach during the Spring 2020 semester! This FREE program is comparable to corporate or for profit collegiate offerings and even better, it is faith based. The Life Works Program can change lives; coaches and students alike will benefit if they invest themselves and stay the duration. You get out what you put into the program! I applaud the leadership, head coaches, team leads, program managers, administrators and volunteers for their tireless, selfless, enthusiastic commitment to a faith filled endeavor designed to equip people with life and work skills that employers are looking for. For the under or unemployed, seeking knowledge and training to better themselves and their career options, this program could be life altering!
My personal experience with Job Partnership was very positive. They assist you writing your resume, job search process, interview preparation. I cant thank Julie and Tom enough for the life lessons and the motivational speeches given throughout the course. My coaches Abby and Denise were just awesome and always available to answer my questions.I only wish they would offer scholarships for a larger variety of courses.
The organization helps you in getting prepared for the professional life. They assist students in elaborate their resume; how respond and prepared for a job interview; how organize your finances, and they also help in find a job. The only thing that they could improve is give more Course options, they offer limited type of classes. Overall, I’m glad that I had this opportunity, and definitely recommend it.
This is a strategic strategy where they execute teaching a person to fish so that they can feed themselves for a lifetime what a great program led by great people.
My experience with Jobs Partnership was very positive. Everyone willing to offer their best. It was amazing!
I learned a lot from the class the coaches and teachers were awesome. I would recommend this class to anyone.
This program is not for anyone who already has a professional background and or are educated. My expectations of the program was disappointing. I thought I would get some assistance with getting another job and or scholarships, and or pell grants offered. They pretty much choose what programs they will pay for pretty much dictating the direction you go in career wise. I dont like that. The coaches well the coach I had was slightly helpful I noticed the more I revealed about myself she started to act a bit standoffish as if she was intimidated by my creditionals. They lie and say the food is catered and in fact its a married older couple that cooks the food and have it delivered in a huge box. I knew something was up because Im an empath and the energy I kept picking up after eating the food was not good. They put up a faccid, but its all fake. One of the coaches said that the clothes they donate is brand new. Its not. They have a storage where ppl donate clothes and they store it there. Like I said Im an empath and that would not be good for me because of the energy/vibes of others will cause me to be spiritually sick. And thats no good. I picked up on so much spiritually as I tried to concentrate. The only Real Christians in the program I would say is Tom, Julie, and Jessie. The coaches dont follow up, atleast mine kept saying she would and didnt. I said forget it. The information is valuable if you have no general knowledge of how God and a career works together. So its informative to those who just dont know. The day I had to turn in my resume Selena was the one who we submitted to. I noticed a huge difference in her attitude and my coach once they found out and saw my education. Selena was very dry and extremely vague on the phone she was not trying to help. As if she was holding back. I dont know what that was all about, but It was like pulling teeth. It kinda infuriated me because who are you to judge me just because you feel like I didnt belong in the program, which in fact I didnt! She never responded to my emails like she used to thereafter, yet, she resumed sending emails out weeks after. Were all in Quartine so I know dang on well you saw my emails. Just Nasty!...I know what time it is. Anytime a black woman feels threatened by someone this is the indirect low-down nasty stuff they do. Selena is extremely passive aggressive so yall watch her if you get her especially if she sees you as a threat. I never said anything because of course she would deny shes doing anything wrong. They take the Governments money and have their friends or family members do the rest. It didnt not meet my expectations as the stuff taught I already knew. I dont want nothing to do with this program. They didnt help me out whatsoever. So Im on my own. Yall need to get real coaches because the two women I interacted with were passive aggressive, rude and overlooked me and dogged me when I had questions.
Nice
