I am 76 years old and had been thinking about planning my funeral arrangements for a while. I looked into different options with several companies and found Baldwin Brothers to fit my needs. I met Tom Hoffman at a health fair in my senior community. Since I was caring for a relative with a serious cancer diagnosis I stopped at the booth to ask him questions. He took care of all of the paperwork and documentation ahead of time and I was able to spend the last weeks of my brother’s life at his bedside without concerns about administrative details. I want to thank Mr. Victor López who answered my call and decided to visit me at my own house since I had so many questions. Just had a terrible communication over the phone with the Administrator, Sandy. She hung up on me. I am a distraught disabled American veteran over my HERO and FATHER rather quick death. My visiting brother (from NJ) took our Mother to Baldwin where they never asked if they wanted a religious service or not or what church or religion. The ritual of funeral service is long standing for centuries. In Roman Catholicism the human body is sacred and must be placed be buried not ashes brought home (through tears) I write.

I bought two cremation policies here a few days ago. One for myself and one for my husband. My contact person was David Minkow and he was able to explain all of my options in a very clear way. While cremation policies may not be everyone’s favorite topic, David is so friendly and charming that he managed to actually make the experience pleasant and even fun.
