I used Castaldo Studio for both photography and videography for our wedding in December 2019 in Mexico - I cannot recommend them enough. Upon arriving to the resort, they took it upon themselves to scour the whole property to find the perfect locations for our photos. The quality and style of photos were exactly what we were looking for, and they completely blew us away. I still get chills when I look at the photos and video! We are so so impressed with Cecily and Dominico! We had never met them before our wedding, but even before then they had been extremely accommodating. They really tried to get to know us between shots and seriously have an eye for the most AMAZING pictures. I am seriously obsessed and Ive only seen a few sneak peaks of the pictures they took. Where do I begin.... One of my friends who also happens to be a photographer came across Castaldo Studios via a Groupon Sale. She did a family Christmas photo shoot with Xavier and could not stop raving about what an outstanding job he did taking photos of her family. I booked a session via the same Groupon sale at the time (2.5 years ago) for my husband, our newborn son and myself. The session was for 30 minutes and Xavier not only took photos of us for almost 2 hours, he did so with so much passion for what he does, so much love and care. Those were the best photos I had of myself and my family up until that point in my life. It has now been almost 3 years and we continue to do our Christmas photos every year, we had other family photos done including birthdays which were outstanding!! Castaldo Studios has become our extended family. The team is made up of extremely talented and passionate professionals, everyone greets you with a huge smile, gives you a warm welcome, makes you feel at home and work incredibly hard to deliver photos that exceed any and all expectations!!! We feel so blessed to have met Xavier, Bianca, Domenico and the entire Castaldo Family

Buyer beware with this company. We booked a session through eventbright for a holiday session in November. The website showed the date and time being available. On our way to the shoot the studio called and said we need to give at least 48 hours notice for any bookings. While not ideal, I can be someone understanding even though our whole family was dressed up and on the way. My frustration has been trying for the past 2 months to get a refund for the session that we never attended. They are slow to respond until you threaten to take to social media. I have never had this much trouble trying to get a refund from any company, ever.I would recommend you give your patronage to another company that values their customers. They have lost me as a potential customer for life at this point.

From the first moment I walked in to the studio I was greeted with a smile. I felt right at home throughout the entire shoot. I didnt realize things change so much once youre in front of camera, thankfully the staff made me feel comfortable and gave great instructions. The whole team at Castaldo is professional, friendly, and talented. I purchased a shoot with hair and makeup included. I booked easily through email and received a few appointment reminders before the shoot. On the day of, I brought a friend and many outfits, and we were greeted with wine and a rack for all of my outfits. The hair and makeup artist did a phenomenal job and did exactly what I pictured. The entire experience was easy-going and I never felt uncomfortable once. My friend adjusted anything that needing moving or re-positioning actually on my body. The photographer (Domenico) was professional and we only did what I felt comfortable shooting. He knew exactly how to position and what lighting to use. The pictures are phenomenal and I cant wait to get my final edits. You can tell the whole team and especially Domenico love what they do.

I saw some comments on customer service and I have to say, they spend a great amount of time perfecting photos and videos, their customer service is spot on! The day of my wedding, Domenico was like my maid of honor I SWARE!! he made sure I looked flawless in all my photos when my girls were focused on their snapchats. The whole crew spent extra time on us just to be sure we got it right! They were unbelievably great and it shows in their work!!!

When we first saw Domenico and Cecilys work, Randy and I knew we HAD to have them for our wedding. They literally were the first vendor that we booked over 1 year and half before our wedding. We did our engagement shoot in June of 2017 and just by seeing the raw, unedited footage we knew we made the best decision for photos and video. They are definitely in the most talented photographers and cinematographers in Florida today. I feel the best way to get the most out of their talent is to let them do what they do best you can give them a little bit inspiration if theres certain shots that you really want but just like a tattoo artist let them create and the piece will be amazing . Keep in mind they are a true studio Unlike 95% of other photographers and cinematographers out there running businesses from their home or they have to meet you at a coffee shop or something like that youre able to meet them at their studio where are youll see a full staff of editors photographers and creators .

Had CASTALDO Studio photograph our wedding at Paradise Cove and Cecily was great Very professional and easy going. We had to wait for a week before looking at our pictures as we are from the UK and had no computer with us. The suspense was unreal.The photos came out better than we imagined and we had around 2400 to look through. The photos were given to us on the day in way of a USB drive which is great as the is no need to wait to have them sent out like other photographers.I would highly recommend using CASTALDO Studio as their professionalism is second to none and most of all the picture quality is perfect.

Not only did they provide a wonderful atmosphere but also great customer service, at a drop of a hat. I was able to call on 11/5/16, Saturday, leave a voice mail and send an email asking for a response either way- by 10:00am Monday, I received a call related to my inquiry! I was able to get my familys pictures taken that day! I only had 4 days to spend with my family, and this was the first time in years, we were all in the same room together. Castaldo Studio went above and beyond my needs- I just dropped off my two oldest siblings today at the airport to head back to New York- and I miss them terribly- thanks to Castaldo Studio, I now have memories that will last me forever. Castaldo Studios is definitely the way to go when booking for photography and cinematography! Cecily, Domenico, and their staff are an absolute joy to work with! They have amazing personalities that make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and they have a beautiful vision. We hired Castaldo for our May 14th wedding in Orlando after one of our friends hired them for their wedding a couple of years ago. I cannot say enough about how wonderful they are and how creative and fun they are, as well! Everyone is in awe of the photos that we received so far and Im super excited to see the remaining photos and video :) Words cant describe how happy we are with the services that Castaldo provided. They are very friendly, courteous, creative, and professional (in a fun and comfortable way)! You for sure wont go wrong with booking Castaldo for your engagement, wedding, or special occasion!

I shall start by saying I give 5 stars for their work. They take gorgeous pictures very creative but customer service OMG, forget it. Listen to this saga that just keeps going on and on. I am a business owner as well and there is no way I would treat my customer like this.Castaldo contract and our consult just doesnt match how we have been treated. Until I read some other unfavorable comments and reviews on The Knot & Wedding Wire I felt alone. Prior to the wedding and the day of, they seem to be very attentive to our needs. Since the wedding we havent received our wedding album or raw footage. We were so surprised to see they released our DVD on their site without a follow up or consult post wedding. We were told we could pick music etc. I was even more surprised at after initially waiting 8 months for it, it just seem to be of poor sound quality. We were told that the video would be Hollywood quality and its really IMovie sound quality. In their defense, never have children at your wedding. My granddaughter made so much noise and was in everything they tried to do. But we were dealing with professional. My mother was with me in the parlor the entire time while I was getting dressed and I do not have one photo of her. She was even there before I got there all dressed up. I was so excited I didnt think to ask them to shoot us or do this that or the third. This has left me with fawn memories as well as heart broken. I only have one picture of me and my mother and it was taken when Castaldo was leaving so I look reception tired. I have no pictures of me and my in-laws and none of my God-Parents, who have since died. I appreciate the extra things they did for me like free picture because the failed to do key shots, visiting the venue at rehearsal to search for perfect lighting. My God, since I complained a week after the wedding I have heard every excuse in the book. We had Angels at the wedding I described in great detail how important their presence was to me and why they were there to represent my father who had passed. I do not have one picture of me with them. I specifically requested they do a photo shoot with them, I assume it was done while I was getting ready. Nope, not one posed pictured of them or me with them. Again I spoke about this issue they offered to reshoot us for a price. Sorry I have so many issues back to the video. So with Hollywood type editing, Im thinking they would do a voice over with the salutations and music used at the wedding to compensate for the over active child. Now with all their professionalism I cant understand for the life of me if the baby is to blame for the noise pitch ups and downs why not tell the story with the still pictures and simply silence the sound and recreate the moments with the actual music used at the wedding. We did voice recordings and letter, Im thinking duh just do it that way. Nope they told me a professional editing team pulled the best of the best and thats what they came up with and they do not just have brides sitting with the editor giving them direction. My thoughts are well then it is what it is. Its almost been two years so I went to Castaldo un-announced and was chastised by Domenico himself for giving them a bad review on their customer service not their work. He said its my fault I have not received my raw footage and that I took 2years to bring him a hard drive and he would take 2days to see if he still had footage. We havent received our album either. So Im guessing because of my first review that might be why we have no footage. He made it clear he probably didnt have it because our wedding was 11/2013. I see no difference they gave us the DVD June 2015. At this point I wish I had not banded our guest from taking pictures! :(

I knew I was asking for a LOT when I wanted a Havana Theme to my wedding hundreds of miles from Havana. Your excitement and compassion the day of our wedding was unforgettable. The hugs I gave you all when you left where from the bottom of my heart. You were like family to me on the happiest day of my life. We all laughed, froze (even though we look HOT AND STEAMY IN OUR PICS) and made incredible pictures that leave me speechless every time I see them. Later that night when we started looking on Facebook I already started seeing pictures and it literally brought tears to my eyes. Even the groom was speechless. It was like Christmas the whole next day looking to see what new pictures had been posted. I felt like I was looking at movie posters from Havana Nights. I am blown away. I cannot say thank you enough for your talents, your professionalism, your caring nature and your love for our photoshoot that day. You made us feel like we were the MOST important people that day. Everyone was so helpful keeping me warm and the story our pictures tell make me feel like we were actually in HAVANA! I look forward to our Honeymoon in Havana! Thank you for making my wedding day dreams come true!!!! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!

Would have to 100% agree with Terri Spatchers review below about their customer service. It is horrifyingly terrible, especially from the owner himself. Communication from him is highly arrogant and condescending, and extremely unclear and hard to understand. During the photos shoot, he left and turned it over to his wife (who told me she has no photography training/background). Highly NOT recommended.
