John and his crew did a landscape clean-up for me involving removal of old lava rock and replacement with wood mulch. It was a substantial job and he and his guys did a great job that is a great improvement to the look of our house. His bid was competitive, he was able to get to work right away and got the job done. We will contact JP Tree next time we need landscape or tree work.

After sum trees grew into my main drain line I wasnt sure what to do for tree removal...I actually prayed for a buisness that will be responsible and not over priced..JP trees was an amazing blessing to come across..talk about an open door...this is the most sincere,reliable,detailed and reasonable company,scheduling was easy but from day 1 of the meet n greet for an estimate myself as well as my mom was impressed...highly recommended would leave my doors open for them to work anywhere in my house....fully trustworthy and dependable

I have several spreading oak trees and one elm tree. The elm(about 12in dbh) was too close the an oak and growing up into the branches of an oak. It also had two large knot holes that were rotting on the inside. I told Larry that I wanted the elm removed and some trimming done to the oaks. Larry said he could do that and pointed out some other trimming that would help the oaks. Larry and the crew arrived early in the morning and went to work. They did an excellent job and made a through cleanup. On a humorous note, shortly after the crew arrived and ambulance pulled up and parked next to the crew!! Since Im new to the area I thought this might be a city requirement to have an ambulance on standby when workers were climbing into trees and using chainsaws. It turned out that this was a used ambulance that was being turned into a support vehicle to carry extra gear.

I have used JP Trees twice and couldnt imagine hiring anyone else. They exemplify knowledge, experience, honesty, and efficiency. They helped us avoid unnecessary removals demanded by our insurance carrier. This was not in their financial interest but worked with the local jurisdiction to provide the information necessary to keep our beautiful oaks. We will be a forever customer.

JP Trees did a great job cutting back a large tree in our front yard. They were very careful to not cut too much that it would kill the tree. I dont know much about this so I kept asking can you trim a little more? and they obliged up to the point they felt it would harm the tree and then they politely explained that to me. I appreciated that. Definitely recommend!

I highly recommend Arborist John Freeman of JP Trees & Landscape. He uses safety climbing ropes and equipment to climb trees without damaging the trees and to keep his crew safe. Ive used him for mistletoe removal in my Laurel Oak and structural pruning of my Live Oaks. His prices are fair compared to other ISA Certified Arborists. I would like to see him get his ISA Certification however.

John has been taking care of my trees and tall hedges for 4 years. His work is excellent as is his work ethic. He answers e mails quickly and makes timely contact for the regular maintenance the property demands. He is extremely knowledgeable and explains every job clearly. The large oaks he trimmed, thinned or cut years ago remain beautiful, strong and healthy. Likewise, the areas in which trees were removed are smooth and grassy. The difference his work has made in our yard is amazing. I highly recommend him.

I usually do not write reviews but JP Trees has a customer for life. Not only was the quote the best I recieved, the work that was done was exceptional. We had two trees in the front yard that needed a lot of work and they look amazing now. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable and very accommodating. I truly cannot praise then enough for the work they did and we will be calling them back in the future. I promise you if you have any tree work that needs to be done you will be beyond satisfied with the end result for a very affordable price.

He was very professional and did what he needed to do to protect my property short term and to ensure the health of the trees over the long run. Obviously, nothing can be guaranteed when a hurricane is involved, but I feel much better about my state of readiness now than I did a few hours ago!While he was here, he also gave me an estimate for some less urgent work to be done after the hurricane passes. His price was in-line for what I expected from a professional tree service (which is what I wanted). He has the knowledge, expertise, and equipment needed to do the job right and do it safely. Im sure I could get it done more cheaply from some random guy with a chain saw, but I would pay more over the long run by doing so.Im happy to recommend JP Trees & Landscaping, and will gladly do business with them again!

I arranged for John to come out and trim my Oak street tree a few days before Hurricane Irma. He came out and I told him I wanted the Oak to be thinned out all over including the upper limbs. I have had this done several times with other tree services (who were booked up) and each time it costs between $200-250 for a thorough job including haul away. John told me the tree didnt really need much - just elevate the canopy a little bit. This means he didnt want to spend the time to do the job properly. Im sure he had plenty of fish to fry that day. He then proceeded to give me a pre-hurricane price-gouging estimate of $450.The tree will probably now incur damage in the upcoming hurricane but I simply couldnt allow John to gouge me like this, just because he knew I was in need due to the upcoming hurricane. Maybe he is fair with customers when the demand isnt as high but he went for the jugular on me. Not cool. I give him one star for at least showing up.

When high winds during a storm toppled a 30 tree near the side of our house, it fell across our neighbors front yard. We quickly went to the internet and found JP Trees & Landscaping LLC.
