And for the last 20+ years, I have always been extremely happy with the quality and price. Now, I bring every car (mine, my wife’s and my sons’ cars) because I trust Don and his team.I’ve met other automotive pros who have told me that Don is a legend and they take their vehicles only to him. That should say everything.In my opinion, as an adult, there are several professional you should know and trust (doctor, dentist, mechanic, painter, etc.). Without hesitation, Don is the one I trust.

Ive been to Dons shop twice now for a few different reasons. He was very knowledgeable and honest! The first time I had an issue another mechanic wanted to charge me over $800 for a bunch of different parts. Don recommended we start with one part and if that wasnt the issue move on from there which ended up costing me less than $200 and my car was fixed. He was very quick in responding and sending me quotes. Scheduling was easy and in the time frame I was hoping for. My brother in law is a mechanic and said the prices were very good for labor/parts. I will be back if I have any other car problems! Highly recommend!

I’ve been looking for a good, honest mechanic to go to since leaving my hometown and was very lucky to find this place. Don fit me into the schedule on short notice to get my tires and cooling fan replaced which makes it easier for someone like me that works a lot with an inconsistent schedule. Even more importantly, his prices are reasonable and honest (another mechanic tried to quote me over $100 more for the cooling fan replacement so they won’t ever be seeing me again) but running a business as he does is what builds loyal customers. I’d recommend this place to anyone, I even have my mom going there now for any work she needs done.

We have been satisfied customers at Don Allen for over 12 years. This is an honest shop owner with very good service. Never a problem. My neighbors told me about Don Allen 12 years ago. The neighbors on each side of us use Don Allen, my husband and I always go to Don Allen, even with our new cars, for oil changes. Our older car had new transmission done. Our daughter takes her car there. When trouble happens with a car, it is nice to know whatever the issue, we will NOT be lied to or ripped off. Don is the best!

A great shop with honest service techs and honest management. If they tell you something needs to be done, it genuinely does need to be done. They dont take advantage of people who dont truly understand what might or might not need to be done on a vehicle. Don Allen and his staff are the best. I have used his shop on many vehicles and inherently trust his judgment on how to keep my vehicles on the road and running. He is always understanding of helping his customers save a few bucks as well. He understands that we want our vehicles fixed, back on the road and want to be able to trust the diagnosis. Don and his staff are extremely friendly and honest! I would recommend them to anyone and use them again myself if I’m in the Winter Garden area again. They were quick and definitely priced fairly. Don is a no-nonsense business owner and did not try to upsell me, which I can appreciate as a young woman.

Don does fantastic work and makes it work for you and your circumstances. I had some issues with my Kia Optima due to a hydroplaning incident and just couldnt get all the work done in one shot. I was able to get the work done bit by bit with no pressure from Don. The work itself was excellent, the staff friendly, and I will be returning to Don for any maintenance/work I need done in the future.

DAT&A always performs excellent service at a fair price. I have him do all the maintenance work on both my cars, as well as all work on my daughter and granddaughters cars.

Stranded at the local high school with a flat tire, they came out and changed it within minutes. In addition, he placed a new tire on it for a very low rate. Very honest, genuine, and inexpensive place.

Had a nail in my tire that had a slow leak. I needed it fixed ASAP as I was about to leave on a 3 week vacation and my tire would have been flat when I got back from vacation at the airport. I went to Clarks Tire and it was a 2 hour wait just to get in. I called 3 other shops in the area and they all wanted me to wait WAAAY too long for something that should be a quick fix. I called Don Allen and I was in and out of there in less than 25 minutes and at a fair price. He gained a customer for life from me.

I got my oil changed at a neighborhood drive through change place in Apopka. Yea, that new one near the catflish place. My oil started leaking immediately. Took my car to Jiffy Lube and they kindly reseated my loose oil filter. A week later and Im leaking again.Took my car to these guys this morning and they took the time to find that the oil filter itself was damaged. All it took was another oil change. While there I had them replace a belt that had been squealing loudly for months and they offered the best price for that also.Theyll probably be seeing my wifes van shortly.

Based on my experience with Don Allens Tire & Automotive, I can say that this seems like very courteous, professional, experienced and trustworthy shop.

Had an issue w/ my 2003 Chevy Impala; Ive had several mechanics including our Fleet Manager at work; look at the issue with the ABS light being on; and the speedometer staying at ZERO. They kept my car for a few days and drove and drove it; and fixed the problem. Come to find out the part that the original mechanic installed; wasnt connected correctly; there is a wiring plug that wasnt plugged in all the way. Of all the stupid mistakes; it took a REAL MECHANIC to find the problem.Thank you Don Allen Auto and all the Service Techs that worked on my car...it runs like it was brand new again!!!!

They Fix the problem with my 2004 acura tl. and align my car and change my oil for 80 bucks. best price other prices was lile 100 to 200 .. Thanks Ill be back to get my brake done
